The hotel staff was friendly and gave information about my stay. The room was clean and quiet. What I don’t remember being told was that there was a parking fee of $12 per day. So I was surprised to see a charge of $24 on my credit card.

I was charged 12.00 a day for parking. I was not told I would be charged for this at all. Also there is limited parking for the Fairfield Inn and we had to park away from the hotel in a different parking lot. I want a refund on the parking charges as I wasn’t told about it and I parked in the other lot. I have stayed at many Marriott hotels and have not been charged .

My room was not clean. There was a dirty washcloth hanging from the shower head. Many of the surfaces were obviously not wiped clean. Luckily I always bring Clorox wipes. Additionally there was no microwave in the room. Every other place I have ever stayed has a microwave. They said I can use one in the lobby. The linens were clean and fine. Just the room seemed hastily made ready and I was not.

The sound abatement was terrible at this hotel. We were on the bottom floor and it sounded like a heard of elephants were staying above us. It wasn’t that there was a party, just a lot of heavy walking that was terrible loud due to poor sound abatement. I called the front desk at 9:30 asking them to address the issue, and they walked more quietly until 10:30 when it started up again until 11:45. Add to that, our room was facing the street and we could hear every car go by. It was the most frustrating lack of sleep experience I can remember.

The room was clean but dated. The hallways and common areas are show lots of wear and tear. The elevator is very much in need of repair or replacement. The door is noisy and the entire car starts and stops abruptly between floors. I was very displeased in some of the fees. I showed up 1 hour and 10 minutes early and I was charged an early check in fee for a room that was all ready to go and not still being cleaned. Also the parking was $12.00 a day uncovered with no security. I feel like I was nickel and dimed upon arrival.

The front desk employee named Nick was absolutely amazing! I really admired the fact that he was always doing something like mopping up the pool water, he was always on the move but as soon as I headed to the front desk he was right there to help. He was never annoyed with my requests and was very friendly when he saw us. Honestly it is rare to find someone like him and he made sure our stay was the best most comfortable stay possible.

I want to preface this review that the staff was absolutely great and I have no complaints at all about the customer service. The property is in desperate need of an upgrade, and Marriott should be forcing it as a franchise. My daughters and I actually got stuck on the elevator for five minutes because the doors wouldn’t open, so we stopped taking the elevator entirely. There was no sound barrier at all between the outside and in, so sleeping was very difficult. The deadbolt on the door was broken so the staff had to come help us get it shut. And finally, housekeeping walked in on us on our second day because their roster said the room was vacant. Do not recommend this property, especially with the courtyard and residence inn right next to it.

Come here at least once a year usually going to Thunder Valley Casino or their concert venue . The casino is about 6 miles away . The pool and breakfast is nice and coffee 24/7 in the lobby . There is another Marriott next door that has a bar . And there’s a waterpark across the street . Great and convenient area .

We stayed at this Fairfield Inn by Marriott location for 4 nights for a nearby Crossfit competition in Granite Bay. The hotel room was good size. We mainly were on-site at the competition, so we mainly just came back and slept and used the wifi to edit our work for the day. The hotel had a good continental breakfast that really helped us get our day started, and at night, the hotel was a literal 2 minute walk to an excellent all you can eat sushi restaurant. The beds were perfect comfy, and the staff at the front desk were friendly and welcoming. When we come back again next year, we are definitely staying here again. We stayed at this Fairfield Inn by Marriott location for 4 nights for a nearby Crossfit competition in Granite Bay. The hotel room was good size. We mainly were on-site at the competition, so we mainly just came back and slept and used the wifi to edit our work for the day. The hotel had a good continental breakfast that really helped us get our day started, and at night, the hotel was a literal 2 minute walk to an excellent all you can eat sushi restaurant. The beds were perfect comfy, and the staff at the front desk were friendly and welcoming. When we come back again next year, we are definitely staying here again. Very clean and comfy beds. The waterpark is across the street in case you have kids and want to go. The pool is inside and was very clean. The breakfast has a lot of options and was well stocked.

My room was very quiet, roomy, and comfortable with all necessary amenities. The free breakfast was great, with oatmeal and fixings, eggs, two different types of sausages, and you can make your own fresh waffles! One other thing I particularly appreciated is the 12 PM check-out time as I really needed a little extra time this morning!

Hotel is dated and needs upgrade. The hotel elevators were not working. AC was very loud in the room. Bathroom had no tissue and towels were scratchy. We had two queen beds and both were too soft and lumpy. Bed mattresses need to be replaced Pillows were terrible. Slept bad. There were no USB outlets in the room. Hotel overall was quiet with no road noise or parking lot noise. Breakfast was decent and there was a nice selection for everyone. Coffee was good. Staff was friendly. Good location for traveling.

The hotel seemed a bit cramped. I have stayed at many Fairfield inns and this one seemed very squished into the property. Parking is tight. There is a fee to parking that I did not realize. Breakfast area was cramped. Room was fine. Bathroom needed a little tlc with the grout. My main negative is cramped- mainly design. Service was good. Food seemed basic but nice. Wish hotels used fresh scrambled eggs and not premade egg product:::::

I asked for a room close to an exterior door since I walk a cane after surgery and away from the loud road. I was given a room on the loud road with a drawer that would not stay closed making it difficult to get between the bed and the dresser with my cane. The bathroom had a cracked sink or dark hair in the sink, I am blonde. I did not want to touch it and find out. It also had dirty footprints in the bathroom and a deadbolt that malfunctioned. When I left to check out I tried 8 times and could not even shut the door from the hall.
