We had a fantastic stay. This house came equipped with everything we needed for the beach. Toys, chairs and towels. communication with the host was awesome! Had such an amazing stay. Steps to the beach made it so convenient. We had a rainy day so having the games to play was a huge bonus for us. We will be back

Fantastic waterfront property just steps from the beach. Very comfortable and well-appointed with comfortable seating areas inside, on be wrap-around porch, and underneath the house. Full sets of cookware and barware. Plenty of towels and blankets. Outdoor shower is a bonus after time at the beach. Recommend without hesitation. Enjoy!

This is one of the beach homes that has stood the test of time. It is very functional and has been nicely remodeled inside. The exterior of the building, especially the facia, deck and stairs needs the same treatment as the inside has received. The water pressure was very low though sufficient for our use. Our stay on the beach was very pleasant and we loved the morning sun rise views from the porch overlooking the beach and gulf.

Charming beachfront cottage just steps away from the ocean. Beautifully decorated with all the amenities you could dream of. There is both a coffee and an espresso maker with all the fixings. Every utensil you could imagine with many different pots/pans. Plenty of pillows and towels as well. My two teenagers LOVED this house from the big tic-tac-toe playing board to swinging in the hammock. The view of the gulf is amazing with large windows in every room. My dog enjoyed people watching from the large covered patio. It was nice that there was a gate to block him from going down the stairs. The host, Stevie, is very attentive and checked to make sure we had everything we needed. We plan on staying here again!

Everything indoors was great, the outside needs some attention. Although pet friendly, the stickers were so bad we could not let the dogs in the yard areas.

Literally the most elegantly decorated house we've stayed at in Galveston ! Quality linens, soft furnishings, crockery, cutlery and furniture. So many thoughtful touches - books, throws, room sprays, games and bathroom goodies. Fabulous covered deck with comfy seating options. Bathrooms and bedrooms are cozy. Owners couldn't have been more helpful or pleasant. Wish it wasn't so popular so it could be available to us more often though !!!

This is one of the best equipped vacation homes we've stayed in. It's very comfortable, cute, and the beach is literally at your door. It's an older property (it survived Hurricane Ike) but don't judge a book by its cover. When you are on the deck enjoying the waves crashing feet away from you, or sauteing fresh shrimp in the well equipped kitchen, or lounging on the sofa enjoying the view, it's all good. Excellent hosts and easy departure We'll definitely return. Thinking same time next year. Close enough We will return.

The location is amazing, you are literally on the beach. You drive on the beach to get to this location. Although, When we pulled up, we almost left immediately. The main support beams for the structure of the house look like they are rotted and about to collapse at any moment. The outside of the cottage looks in really bad shape. My family stayed in the truck and I went up to inspect the house and make sure it wasn't dangerous. The stairs going up are falling off. After inspecting the structure, we decided to go ahead and stay. To be honest we were a bit worried, our entire stay, about the structural integrity of the house. Once inside, the cottage is very cute. The cottage is decorated very well. Very comfortable and cozy. Kitchen is really well stocked with most everything you would need. There was no can opener, which we purchased from dollar general down the street and left at the cottage for future guest. The beds and linens were very comfortable. The couch could use a steam clean. It feels a little grimy and dirty. We had fun playing board games. We couldn't let our toddler on the porch bc she almost fell through the hand rails. Code for hand rails is 3.5" between rails. These are about 12" apart. Maybe adding an additional board horizontally at the bottom would keep little ones from crawling or stumbling off the edge. The views are amazing, highly recommend a cup of coffee or tea on the patio to watch sun rise.

This home was the perfect beach property for our couples retreat. The ocean views and sunrises were amazing. It came fully stocked and equipped with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The home was both beautiful and very clean.

This house is amazing - clean, pretty and fully stocked with anything a guest may need. It has amazing view of the gulf. The house is all glass on the front which meant each bedroom has a gulf view. Bermuda beach is a great location. Close to town, but not in town. The owner was in contact throughout the stay and certainly there for us had we needed her. I am going to go back next year and I highly recommend this property!

House is adorable however it does need work…outside not in the best shape…needs fresh coat of paint everywhere…windows need cleaning inside and out. Cabinets and drawers need cleaning inside. Shower in main bedroom is cracking. Decorations and linens were very nice.

Beautifully decorated, clean beach house with lots of amenities, free coffee, espresso, creamers, spices, dishes, utensils, etc. literally all you need to bring is food. We had a great time and our dog did too! We will be back!

This property has been one of my family’s favorite VRBO bookings. We’re still talking about how cozy it was for a winter getaway. You’re quite literally right on the beach, which made for the best ocean views whether we were on the porch or in any of the interior rooms. Location aside, the owners have taken great attention to detail in order to make it feel like home (without actually being at home). The kitchen was stocked with any kitchen tool needed to make a meal and the bathrooms also included plenty of toiletries. It’s beautifully decorated, impressively clean, and just all around a great place for a beach getaway.

This was our second visit to Salt Air Cottage and as per the norm, it did not disappoint. Stevie is a top level host who still maintains excellence even four years later. Same great attention to detail, cleanliness and comfort. A wonderful beach home!

This cottage was absolute perfection. Right on the beach. Beautifully decorated. Well stocked with linens and kitchen items. Comfy beds. The deck is incredible. Can't say enough! We've been coming to Bermuda Beach for over 10 years, mulitple times a year, and Salt Air is one of the best places to stay. Book it. Book it NOW! You will be so glad you did!

Probably one of the nicest properties that we have stayed in. It even smelled nice which is hard to do in beach houses. The house had everything needed for the perfect stay and beautifully decorated.

Quite and clean community. The house has two bedrooms and bathrooms. Wrap around porch with front roll ocean views. Absolutely stunning! We didn't want to leave. Beautiful home we had a great time.

From the moment we arrived, we knew we picked a great place to stay. All of the ammenities were there, the house was fully stocked with plates, silverware, cups, coffee cups, you name it. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone. We were a party of 6 and it was a great fit for us. The deck on this place and the views from every room on this house was stunning!!

We had a wonderful time in this cottage. Beautiful views out the living and bedroom windows. The covered patio was wonderful to sit on. It was like being on the beach with the bathroom and our snacks handy. 😉 The host was wonderful, checking in throughout the stay and very receptive to suggestions. The house is located in a quiet strip of the beach and as two women traveling alone, we felt very safe here.

The house had one of the best locations with steps to the beach. We saw dolphins from the porch. Loved the style and decor. We really enjoyed our stay minus a few issues. We never got any check-in info. I reached out to the owners the night before and contacted VRBO when they didn't reply within a reasonable amount of time. The only light in one bedroom didn't work and the guest toilet kept clogging. The owner tried to make up for these issues by having dinner delivered. I declined at first, but she really wanted to offer us something. We agreed to a pizza delivery, but she forgot to order it. I reached out asking about it and she did call to apologize. We got our delivery a few hours later than planned. We did really enjoy ourselves and will always cherish our time here. The communication with the owner was stressful as we did not always get a reply and when we did, it was usually a long time after reaching out. Loved the camera they offered of taking pics and sharing memories, but there was no film and looked like there hasn't been in a while as there were no 2023 photos up. Loved the outdoor shower and the porch can't be beat. Lots of comfortable furniture on porch. Overall, it was a good stay and we had a great time.

We had a fantastic stay. This house came equipped with everything we needed for the beach. Toys, chairs and towels. communication with the host was awesome! Had such an amazing stay. Steps to the beach made it so convenient. We had a rainy day so having the games to play was a huge bonus for us. We will be back

great weekend trip. perfect location. the only thing i would recommend to the owner is to make the location of the lockbox a little clearer. we did find it, but it took 5-10 minutes or so. maybe even text a picture of the lockbox location to future renters.

We stay here almost every time we come to Galveston. Stevie is a great host, and my son absolutely loves this house. It is well appointed, and we just love every time we stay here. We couldn’t recommend it enough!

The house was A++, and it has the absolute best location in Galveston. If you want to sit on a lovely deck and appreciate the sea right in your backyard, this is the place. Inside was stylish, comfortable, and well-designed - loved it. However, we were unable to get our house access info until going to the house at check-in time. Prior to that, the owner didn't provide any access info, and didn't reply to my or VRBO's attempts to reach them through the website or phone (where the mailbox was full, so we couldn't leave a message) . I've used VRBO many many times and never before had this problem. It was maddening and stressful and wasted a lot of my time. Terrific property, but a high tolerance for ambiguity and last-minuteness is needed. Note that VRBO tried to help, but its policies dictate that they can't provide alternate lodging until the check-in time. So you're left hoping it will all work out even though you'd booked - and paid - months before. We got lucky in the end, but the whole process was unacceptable.

This was our second visit to Salt Air Cottage and as per the norm, it did not disappoint. Stevie is a top level host who still maintains excellence even four years later. Same great attention to detail, cleanliness and comfort. A wonderful beach home!

This house is near the end of a dead end so if you love being away from the hustle and bustle of Galveston seawall traffic, then this is for you! Definitely worth the few minute drive out of time. 10/10 would recommend. :)

We were very comfortable, 2 adults and one dog, Bermuda Sands Beach Front. Easy access to beach. Kitchen had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again. Easy drive to Galveston.

This house is amazing - clean, pretty and fully stocked with anything a guest may need. It has amazing view of the gulf. The house is all glass on the front which meant each bedroom has a gulf view. Bermuda beach is a great location. Close to town, but not in town. The owner was in contact throughout the stay and certainly there for us had we needed her. I am going to go back next year and I highly recommend this property!

Beautiful. Perfect decor. Excellent host. Simply perfect, feels like you can step into the gulf from the deck. Away from the hustle and bustle of Galveston, yet not far to drive to destinations. Hope I'm lucky enough to come back some time.

Cottage is the cutest Very well stocked with kitchen essentials, lots of board games and puzzles, TV apps to curl up with a movie or keep up with your fav shows and a blu ray player just in caseHosts were very helpful and made sure we had a great stayView is beautiful Lots of out door seating including a picnic table to enjoy the cool evening breeze on the back porch and lounging out front to watch the sunrise/sunset or just enjoy the waves and fresh airClose access to beach makes it so easy and you dont have to lug a bunch of stuff because the walk back is so easy and the outside shower makes washing off sand easyFar enough away from hustle and bustle but close enough to make the drive in to shopping and food easyClose to lots of shopping, restaurants, grocery store, candy stores, ice creamReally the perfect spotOnly downsides we noticed were no lounging chairs to take to the beach but the plastic ones worked fine and mosquitos were no joke like they were even inside our car so invest in some spray which we didnt think about for evenings but just a helpful tip House is so worth it and everything you are looking for for a relaxing beach trip in Galveston

It was a great location, right by the water! The long, covered porch with lounge chairs was our favorite part of the house. Our host was so responsive and prepared. Our two sons *loved* the bunk bed room with fun beach-themed books and decor. Definitely would stay again!
