We booked the hotel in order to use the pool but it was under maintenance, my kids did not like it

Grea stay Clean rooms and really good breakfast options Also the pool was Cristal clear ! I wish they had a jacuzzi though.

There's an event center beside the hotel. Unfortunately, there were events the whole time, in the evenings, when we were there. Couldn't sleep well until the events ended. Plus the event center uses the same parking as the hotel. Hence, we had to park a little farther.

Large tower. One of elevators broken. Glad we were on 2nd floor and could use stairs. Also we booked because of breakfast. Pancake machine broken whole time. Area around hotel is sketchy.

Very clean, staff was great, and parking lot was spacious and safe.

We stayed for 2 days. Property was clean. Staff was polite. Elevators didn’t work on the second day. It may be one off situation but quite inconvenient for the people on higher floors. It would be better if breakfast could have at least one vegetarian option except breads.

Clean and comfortable place to stay after a long Disney trip. One elevator was down so it can get real crowded and busy.

We stay at this property a lot due to its proximity to my daughter’s sports team. We enjoy the convenient location, the breakfast, free parking, a nice gym and cleanliness of the rooms. However, it seems like they may have a bird problem on the property lately. There is bird excrement all over the balconies and every morning we are awakened early by very loud birds. Also, if there is an event next door at the event venue, parking is also non existent which is a little frustrating.

A well maintained property. It is really unfortunate this property does not have a jacuzzi.

Clean, spacious and most of all well run. Fantastic complimentary breakfast buffet, clean equipped gym stocked with towels and water, clean refreshing pool, and a very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Especially given the dive hotels on the same block and the neighborhood being a bit sketchy and filled with homeless challenges, if you're staying in this immediate part of Santa Ana this is the property you want to stay at.

I didn't use the Wi-Fi but the room was very clean and staff are all very friendly and courteous. We really enjoyed the stay.

Dirty. Smelled like mildew and cleaning product. Carpet was filthy throughout the whole facility. Breakfast was terrible. Shower leaked and smelled. I stay at IHG/Holiday Inn Expresses everywhere and this was BY FAR THE WORST I’ve ever stayed at. Do not book this hotel!

The bathroom smelled really bad, it didn’t have ventilation. The bath tub had mold. One of the bed had dirty sheets and a stain on it. There was so many homeless people and next to the hotel there was a hall and we literally hear the loud music and followed by 1 hour of live music.

No house keeping service, even trash wasn't getting picked daily and we stayed for 4 nights and came back to a stinking room. Bathroom sink had leakage and reception wasn't bothered to get it fixed.

The price per night was reasonable, but the breakfast was disappointing. There was not even a sausage. The place doesn’t seem to be well maintained, and the floors in the common areas are noticeably dirty. Room looks new and clean, bathroom though was weirdly built. The sink was too far to reach. Laundry area was on the 10th floor only, will take you a trip in doing your laundry. Overall, you get what you paid for but won’t be staying here again that’s for sure.

This is the worst Holiday Inn express I had ever been! The room is dirty! And they don’t even replace the toilet paper when it is almost gone! Overall, the experience is horrible!

Overall it was an okay hotel if you don’t plan to stay in the area. It is in a sketchy area of Santa Ana so just FYI. First night walked into the room looked updated and clean until I looked at the floor. There was visible dirt marks in the bathroom and entrance as well as hair. Carpet had crumbs and small pieces of trash. I asked for a vacuum to vacuum the floor. And they gave it to me, didn’t really work. Housekeeping went the next day and only changed the trash and added towels. Floors still dirty. There is a banquet hall so Saturday there was a party loud music and parking pretty full. Plus free parking & basic breakfast available. Probably won’t book here again unfortunately.

Clean room

Cannot emphasize how horrible the condition of the room and horrific customer service from the manager and employee when we stayed there. Upon arrival, our reserved room was not cleaned -- poop stains in the toilet and brown-stained bed sheets. The cofee machine was dirty, floor had crumbs all over, and bathroom faucet had hair and grim. We checked in a bit after 10 pm, so by that time the housekeepers had plenty of time to clean the two-queen bedroom, but it was in unkept condition. We request to get another room, but the front desk manager said he only had a room with a king bed with a pull-out couch. The pull-out couch did not have any sheets or pillows, so we went downstairs to request them. After 1/2 hour of waiting, nothing happened. So, we volunteered to get the sheets and pillow ourselves but we were told only the housekeepers have access. We waited for at 1.5 hours before we were given the bed sheets and pillows; we were tired from the plane trip and it was almost midnight from the waiting. Not only that, the springs in the couch's mattress were broken -- horrible night of restless to try to sleep on that couch. The front desk manager told us he'll have us move a cleaned two-queen bedroom the next day. The next day, the manager and gal (blue-dyed hair) working at the front desk assured us that we get a 2-queen bedroom, but lied to their teeth and nothing happened. A night shift gal told us that they never put in the notes that we requested to move to 2-Q bedroom.

When I got to the hotel, I wasn’t sure what to expect but everyone was nice. All that being said the most impressive thing was how clean it was. It smelled like fresh and had just got done being wiped down and we both felt comfortable walking around with our shoes and socks off. The bathroom was immaculate, and the bedding was clean and comfortable.

We stayed here for a family Disneyland trip for two nights. The beds and pillows were comfortable, and the standard room had an ample amount of space and a good layout. We did not enjoy the shower at all. It had hardly any pressure and if a toilet was flushed in a neighboring room then the pressure dropped even more. It also leaked out and made the floor wet. The walls were also thin, and you could hear everything even when people outside the room weren’t being noisy. You also heard every step the people above you took. The floors need a good cleaning as well.

Everything small but neat. No expected pressure in shower. TV should support smart.

I could not sleep. You can hear every sound out side and in the hall. Guests were not being noisy just could hear doors closing and people taking showers above us at 2am. Street noise was very loud feom time to time out on the street. Bed comfy. Slim breakfast. Old elevator second one did not work. Staff very very nice. Bring ear plugs and you will do well. The desk staff checking in and out were very very nice. Bathroom nice size.

Everything was great, except the vent in the shower doesn’t work

The staff was friendly and very welcoming. Room was clean, shower was wonderful, and the bed let me sleep like a baby.

2 night stay for business. Staff friendly, hotel clean, room nice and bed comfortable enough. Unfortunately a very loud hotel. Location can be loud and walls very thin. Also booked this hotel because of the balcony and didn’t realize they have all the doors locked so you can’t open them. Being stuck in the room working was a bit stuffy, would have liked to have the breeze.

Good breakfast, good services, staffs friendly. Noisy on lower levels due to near I-5 and I-55 and railroad. Higher floors from 5 and above are best.

Darren at check in was so nice and welcoming. His friendliness, demeanor and communication skills made my evening and my overall stay smooth and pleasant. Thank you!

This hotel did not have my room ready in time. Check in was at 3pm but I didn't get to the hotel to check in until 6pm. They then switched us rooms but did not mention that the lights only turn on in specific ways. The staff also had a conversation in front of guests that should have been had privately. I also asked for a bath instead of a shower as an accommodation, they said they would accommodate, then they didn't. I won't be coming here again. It was not worth the price to me.

Inflexible and rude front desk

My room was not clean! The shower still had hair in it and the room had a bad smell. Also, there’s an event place in the same parking lot and the night we stayed, there was a quince going on and it was so loud. You could hear EVERYTHING. The party lasted until after midnight so we didn’t sleep. I know that’s not the hotels fault but I wouldn’t book this place again especially on a weekend when there could possibly be a party in the next building. I wouldn’t book here again!!

Our stay was okay. During our 5 day stay we asked for new towels and they left 2. When we had said 4. We also asked for toilet paper and weren't left with any both times. The breakfast was not great, eggs, cinamon rolls, sausage were cold on multiple occasions. There was no fruit available at times for breakfast. When we first checked in the lady at the front gave us our keys and didn't explain info, we had to go down to ask about the light in which you had to put your key in and keep it there for lights to turn on. When we first arrived we asked about our room and were told to wait a few minutes they were sold out and were getting keys ready and we were told to take a seat and wait. We sat down and then more and more people walked in and they helped everyone else before us, and finally i got in line again to get our keys to get help.

Staff was very nice and we checked in efficiently

Its a clean hotel but the staff needs to be re-trained on how to give proper customer service. Our check in experience wasn't good. The young man didn't greet us, but instead exclaimed there were no clean rooms three times. I didn't even get to utter a word first. It was 2:50 pm, I understand we were early for the official 'check in' time but it seemed as if we were disturbing him. We later sat in the lobby and waited until 3pm and two more staff was at the desk. All three were just having personal conversations. They have to understand the perspective of the customer, and how that looks to us. When it was 3pm the same guy just yelled across the lobby and asked if we wanted to check in. He didnt even end up checking us in, another person did.

The hotel ran out of towels. For the family of 4, we only received 2 towels. When asked the front desk, the lady gave me nothing but attitude. Outside of the hotel is dirty and it doesn’t get cleaned. We stayed for over a week and not once has the cig butt got picked up from the ground as the ashtray was overflowing. The free breakfast was by far the worst selection that I’ve seen in a long time. We won’t be returning back in the future.

I always have a wonderful stay when I am in town. Staff are friendly and helpful, room is clean and quiet. Breakfast is great!

The room was clean and the hotel was conveniently located near the zoo for the even we were attending. There is a banquet hall that shares a parking lot and our room was on the third floor facing the banquet hall. The events run until 10 or 11 and play music so it’s very loud on that side of the hotel. If I were to return, I would request a room on the west facing side of the building.

We stayed for a week and so far it was a good experience. The location is 11 minutes away from Disneyland and about 50 mins (sans traffic) to Universal Studios. The location is also close to The Orange Outlet (an outdoor outlet) There are fast food chains close to the location specifically around Tustin area where you can see, In and Out, Target, Walmart. We didn't use the pool so we don't know how it looks like. Otherwise, the staff are pleasant and polite too. At this time of writing, Parking is complementary as well as hot breakfast.

I liked the location ,close to Disneyland and john wayne airport ,also close to several malls in the area.

Very sketchy area. Homeless and police are all over

Although the delightful Anaheim Zoo is just a few minutes away by foot, the neighbourhood is not really tourist oriented and I didn't feel entirely safe walking to the zoo during the day. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable and professionally run and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend on its own merits. Breakfast each morning was good and plentiful and had good variety. Staff were always ready and willing to serve with a smile. All in all a good experience. Just prepare to take a cab or ride share to wherever you're going.

Overall a good stay every time we go to Orange County we stay here. One thing that wil probably change that is the new party salon close to the hotel. You can hear music very clearly up to your room.

Hotel is new, room super clean , bed very good. Only bad part is neighborhood dies not feel safe after dark . I would not recommend walking around at night .

We were very happy with the room this trip. We liked that maid service was on request. The breakfast buffet was very good. The staff made sure everything was kept full and clean. There was something for everyone.

Everything was seamless from check-in to check-out. Breakfast was tasty, even hand pancakes, first for us. Egg white omelette were also a first. Clean rooms and comfy beds. We will stay here again when in the area. Thank you for a nice comfy stay.

We have stayed at this property several times, and each time it gets a bit poorer. The breakfast now is simply terrible! Oatmeal mush the is mostly watery gruel instead of mush; orange juice that tastes very funny, like it hasn't been kept frozen before use; hard boiled eggs no longer available; scrambled eggs that taste like something besides eggs; coffee that isn't hot, and is bitter. It is like the breakfast is not a matter of importance to this hotel's manager!

We only stayed one night but the check-in was a breeze. Room clean and very comfortable bed. Nice breakfast. Large selection. No complaints.

The room was clean, but bed comforter and linens were stained…we arrived late, or I would’ve had them changed. Breakfast was not good! Eggs, oatmeal, even coffee were lukewarm and there was no microwave to heat them. No bacon or sausage, just burnt biscuits with cold, lumpy sausage gravy. An event facility next door used up all the parking and we parked in a far part of the lot next to several people living there and fighting w each other, which felt unsafe. People from the event were coming and going in the parking lot outside our room all night, until well after 2:00 a.m.

The stay was very welcoming and especially good and exceeding my expectations was breakfast. I never expected so many choices

Staff was super friendly, rooms were very clean and quiet. The breakfast was not very good, even my non picky eaters chose to not eat after the first bite. Other than the breakfast there are no complaints. Will most definitely stay here again when in town!!
