The hotel was okay. The pool was not the best-a lot of plants in it. We even found a screw at the bottom. Someone could have gotten really hurt. The smell of the room was not the best either- really strong “hotel” smell. Our comforters also had multiple holes. Had to go to reception to let them know so I wouldn’t be charged for it. They “changed” the comforters but the new ones had holes in them too.

Hotel was not what they advertised. Jacuzzi did not work, fire pits outside did not work. Elevator was out of service. Bedsheets had cigarette burns. Two bags of popcorn was eight dollars just for the poor functioning microwave to burn the popcorn. Bagels were old. Overall, I would not recommend staying here, although there was a front desk representative, who was very nice.

Was on third floor and had to come back down and get new key cards almost every time in and out of room. Under average bed pillows. The fire pits didn't work. There were dangerous looking people around property. Breakfast was same every day and not many choices. Not enough choices for items to buy in small market area. Paint in room was chipped, and the room smelled like mold/mildew. While I was visiting I heard there was a recent murder there, and I wonder if they assigned that room to me and my family.

I really enjoyed the staff and stayed a total of 9 days over two weeks, getting to know all employees. The hotel shuttle was really helpful and I thought the daily breakfast offered quite a bit of variety for a budget-friendly hotel. I work in Santa Ana and will stay again. Thank you!

Loved our one night stay! Felt safe & secure knowing we parked right outside our room. Only thing is we wanted to stay at this specific hotel because it had propane fire pits & when we got there it looked like they hadn’t been turned on in months & when we called the office they said they’ve been broken. & the bathroom doors aren’t doors but the sliding ones with gaps. Wish we would have seen that! But staff were great & the room was clean & cozy.

Walls could use a wipe down as there were some dirt spots especially in bathroom. Soda bed mattress was extremely lumpy where you could feel the coils. Hot tub water was cold. Food was filled enough/ restocked fast enough.

Breakfast was the best and made the price worth the stay. I took pictures of the room. This is my second stay as it was the best price for the hotels in the area. This room had dirty spoiled carpet stains, a ripped couch, molded bathtub, graffiti desk, stained mattress and sheets I didn't want to sleep on as they were stained too. Not good at all.

The room was cute, but the cleanliness was poor. Our bathroom was moldy and the walls were dirty. The chair inside the room was stained with red. The signal of the tv went out, when we called they pretty much said they couldn’t do nothing about it. Paying 200 plus I expected more.

This was the dirtiest hotel/motel we have ever stayed in. This does not live up to the la quinta inn, we are used to. There was black mold in tub and the sink, the staff moved us to another room, which we didn't inspect there was black mold in the sink, a long with the black mold on the ceiling, paint bubbling from no fan running in the bathroom, in which was fixed while we stayed. The front of the la quinta inn is nice and updated, but once you walk through the lobby, it looks like the night life can come through and run the night. The staff was super friendly and very great, but I will most likely never stay here again, we had another stay planned in August, which we will go somewhere else now.

I loved the property. Especially, the lotion, conditioner, shampoo and body wash in the bathroom. The 3 things that needs work is the AC/Heating unit didnt heat the room, the tv wouldn't turn on and the guy at the front desk was unavailable for a long time. I waited quite some time to check in. Other than that I would recommend.

The property looks nice, and the rooms are spacious. However, the walls are very thin, so hopefully you don’t have noisy neighbors like we did—I’m talking karaoke at 2am noisy…both nights we stayed. It’s a shame the developers didn’t do more to soundproof the building. Also, we had 2 tvs in the room, and neither worked. Not a big deal for me, but something to consider. I will look for different accommodations next time I visit.

Stayed one night. Got in late, night attended was great so 5 stars on him. Bed was comfortable but room needed some TLC. Walls looked old and shows some signs of past issues. Looked like someone ripped out the TV, wall mount still there but looked damaged. Did not bother sitting on the pull out couch. Cushions had large tears in them and look like it was found on the side of the road and placed in room. So if you just need a bed and shower, it’s good for that.

My stay here all around was terrible. At booking i had a question and called and they put me on hold for 8 minutes…I hung up and called back and they immediately answered. I booked the hotel due to its airport shuttle and breakfast. When i landed it took 4 calls and 2 minutes on hold and an additional 2 hours of waiting before the “shuttle” i called for that never came cause they never sent it. they finally got me a lyft which got me to the hotel. and i get to my room and i see a bug…i get a new room get in and notice theres a man lingering in front of my door he says he has my key so i take it key doesnt work so i go back to the desk exchange both keys to make sure he doesnt have mine go back up and neither new keys work do it again and same problem neither keys work do it again and only one key is working… leave it at that next day the breakfast is terrible so are the drinks but who cares. i call the night before to make sure the shuttle will be there at a specific time and they say to call 15 minutes before the day of so i say okay and i do that and they say to come down so i do that and they say it will be another 10 minute wait…wait 10 minutes nothing ask again to find out they never told the shuttle to get ready…all in all this hotel is unprofessional and has bugs

We arrived and they must have overbooked because they gave us hassle and then said we can cancel your reservation and then did without asking! Worked in our favor, got a better hotel right by there for cheaper and better service!

We called because we were unable to make before 6pm. The receptionist said it was ok and that she would leave a note to the next shift. When we arrived there was no room ready for us and no note was left anywhere. We were ask to rent another room. After all, we were given another room with only one bed when we had made reservation for a 2 bed. Altogether our experience was very disappointing and irritating since we had 2 minors complaining about the whole situation.

Very close to the airport so it is very convenient. Staff was very pleasant, helpful, and professional. Complimentary breakfast was good. Rooms were clean, safe, and what you would expect and hope for. Hardly any dining options within walking distance.

The soaps provided were all watered down. There is always weird activity going on in the side parking lot. One night there was yelling and shouting multiple times in the middle of the night. All from riffraff in the parking lot. Housekeeping does a good job though, the room was quite clean. The breakfast is a typical continental breakfast, a little less options than some perhaps. Nothing to write home about but it was decent. Overall it is overpriced for what it is but its certainly not a bad stay.

Very close to the airport and nearby stores. There are also other hotels that surround the area, so there a lot of travelers in the area. The room I had was non smoking, but smelled of strong cigarette smoke. Other than that, it was pretty standard for the price. Also came with complimentary breakfast which was nice.

Decent stay, close drive to beach and airport. Food places are everywhere near the hotel. Hotel was pretty clean, breakfast was decent and I’d stay here again. My only complaint is the loud AC in the room that screams when it’s on, but other than that no complaints about my stay.

Staff was friendly, the room was clean, the bed was especially comfy, we actually took a picture of the mattress model to purchase in the future. It was cool they had breakfast, the options were waffles,eggs,sausage,yogurt, bagels, toast cereal, coffee, juices & milk. The pool & hot tub are nice, but the hot tub isn’t very hot & could use some cleaning, just looks a bit run down. There’s also not a bathroom where the pool/hot tub are located, but not a huge deal. Overall great stay for the price, we needed to go to UCI which was a 15 min drive away, no complaints, decent hotel.
