Oasis Inn and Suites

We had an absolute amazing stay. Room was clean, pool sparkling, and ambience on point!

Nice clean place not far from downtown. The room, furniture, linens, bathroom looked new (very nice!). There is a small yard with flowers and tables. Pool looked nice, but it was not heated, so we did not use it. People were sunbathing at the pool though. Parking spaces are a little tight, could be a problem for vans and SUVs.

I chose this place because of the pool and the closeness to the University of Santa Barbara. It was good space , comfortable. I was highly upset that the pool was closed for whatever service it needed during my stay.

The property was hard to park in as there weren’t a lot of spots for the guests .

This was our second time staying at Oasis, booking 2 rooms each time. Both stays were great! Motel itself is cute and well-maintained: bright and cheery exterior, pool, pretty garden area with patio sets, etc. Rooms were spacious, clean, and nicely renovated. Kitchenettes, lots of cable channels, good amount of power outlets. Adequate parking. Near lots of shopping and dining options. We plan on making this our regular place to stay in Santa Barbara.

Great little motel close to everything in Santa Barbara. Nice pool, nice rooms.

Parking is very tight. Big trucks should park separately.

No real complaints except there isn't enough parking at night. We went out on a Saturday night and returned to our room a little after midnight and the lot was full. We had to park in the alley, which was not too far away, and the office said we could park there. Other than that, no complaints. Would definitely stay here again

Beautiful little hotel, clean, comfortable rooms and beds. Helpful, friendly staff. Main parking lot is insufficient for hotel rooms available, but there is safe, additional parking behind the hotel so park there. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

Blood on comforter, cigaret burn onbed topper, bathrm door wouldn’t shut, door filthy, smelled awful, like they tried to cover up cig smell, ceiling half painted, wires running everywhere -possible fire hazard, bed hard as a rock, $100 cleaning deposit required, all dirty laundry left in front of our door as washer and dryer were next to out room. First thing we saw when opening the door were crated piled with dirty laundry. Absolutely the worst place we ever stayed. I have many photos if you’d like to see them

Nice clean place

Such a charming little place! We walked into our room and it smelled like it had just been scrubbed from floor to ceiling. Immaculately clean. The staff were beyond helpful and nice. I would definitely stay here again. And I felt safe parking my car in the parking lot, which is always important too.

No problems. Front desk attendant was courteous and helpful. The grounds are quite nice but the room, while clean, smelled of too much disinfectant. An inexpensive, no frills property in an expensive city.

Clean and well maintained

Our room was dirty and there was a pungent cologne like smell that we could not escape. The bed was comfy enough but the smell made all of our things stink and gave me a headache. I was extremely disappointed with the room but was too tired and exhausted to complain or ask to switch rooms. Would not recommend.

The minute I walked in the room, smelled very clean and sanitized. I am very impressed.

The room was okay. The location is run down, and the street traffic was extremely noisy all night. Motorcycles revving, sounded like street racing was going on.

Place was clean and updated which was nice. The only downside was being on State street you hear all the traffic on State street all night long

We stayed one night in a standard king room on the second floor and it was spacious and nicely remodeled. The bed was comfortable and I thought the light-up mirror in the bathroom and all the charging ports were nice touches. It was close to a Whole Foods where we picked up food for an early morning departure. Some reviews mentioned that the parking can get filled up at night, but we found a spot behind the building. The one downside was that the Internet was slow, but I’m not sure if it was just that one night. I would happily stay there again.

Everything was up to standard. The only issue I had was that the internet wasn't working.

The WiFi was slow and the water pressure on the shower was low.

This was a super cute room with plenty of space and even a little kitchen area with a mini fridge and microwave. My only complaint was that the mattress was so hard, it gave me back pain and a not so restful night of sleep. Other than that, the service was great!

The hotel was very noisy with staff and other guests. The walls are thin. The location is good. Would not go back.

Really liked this little motel - nice details attended to and convenient for our trip to the airport in the morning. Affordable to boot which in Santa Barbara is not an easy feat. Would definitely stay again.

Very honest place. They called us to let me know we left our tablet in the room.

The man at the desk was RUDE, yelled at customers before us, didn't give us a good room since heat was noisy and bath was not hot or clean. They need to clean the grout and repaint where paint is chipping. Needed to ask for another blanket. Overall Motel 6s have been better than this place. And they did not honor the rate given when I moved the date by 1 day. They demanded an extra $100 deposit upon arrival and this was just weird. It takes 5 days to get that refunded.

Check in receptionist was not so friendly. Room was clean, coffee tasted mortifyingly horrible, decent shower, no frills, location worked for me since I had a car but 10 minutes drive to downtown, 15 minutes drive to the beach.

Rooms were clean, quiet, and updated. Grounds were very nice and staff was very nice and helpful too! Rates were super reasonable and I will be definitely coming back here again.

The location is easy to find and there's a supermarket across the street. The motel grounds are nicely landscaped adding to its charm. The bed was comfortable and the AC/Heating system was excellent. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. We loved the swimming pool which was very clean and well maintained. We would definitely stay again.

Perfect place on upper State Street! This is a wonderful hotel. It looks very modest from the street, but the rooms are well designed, refurbished, and charming. Friendly and helpful staff. Parking spaces can get a bit crowded but it’s Santa Barbara! Shopping center across the street, restaurants waiting 2-5mins walk.

Away from the main centre of Santa Barbara but still convenient. Rooms are clean and bed is huge and comfortable. Supermarket opposite hotel.

Nice enough place for out needs; clean, comfortable, decent amenities (fridge, microwave). Parking is a little limited. Our next door neighbors were very inconsiderate (loud music, car horn honking middle of night)….definitely not motels fault. Nice restaurants within walking distance.

The clean and modernized room was comfortable to stay in. Convenient location across from the mall with a great bakery, bookstore and restaurant.

Clean room upon entry. We stayed in the family suite and it was plenty of room for 4 adults and a crawling baby. Great dining options across the street for breakfast and dinner. I recommend Spudnuts and Bagels across the streets. Large delicious pastries for very reasonable prices!

No breakfast and high price

Modern, pleasant and comfortable room. Much better than we expected. There is some street noise in the units closest to the street but overall this is bearable. The only downside is that there is no breakfast.

Quick check-in and check-out experience. I was able to call ahead of time to get a slightly early check-in, if I desired. Front parking is a tight fit; the back of the property (in the alleyway) has decent spacing for parking. The back parking has a convenient door that you can open with your hotel keycard for ease of access to the rest of the property. Sheets were slightly dusty and towels were mostly clean. Provided hotel soaps are pretty drying, but that might be due to my sensitive skin. My room had a mini-fridge, microwave, and coffeemaker. Packets of instant coffee, powder creamer, and sugar were provided with the room. Acceptable quality for hotel instant coffee. Bed and pillows were firm, which was fine for my husband and I. Walls are pretty thin, so you can hear your neighbors walking and talking easily plus the cars on the street outside is noticeable. If you are accustomed to city life, the noise is pretty easy to ignore. In the morning, front office had a hot water dispenser and brewed coffee, along with green tea bags, hot chocolate packets, powder creamer, and sugar. I think there was also juice, but I only got some hot tea. Tea was pretty good. After our stay, manager was able to void the deposit in less than an hour when I started to get worried about it plus sent a receipt to me, which was comforting. Overall, service was quick and efficient. Hotel stay is pretty standard for the price point in this area.
