Hotel La Rose

Ikke det bedste område at bo - mange hjemløse omkring hotellet. Ikke en særlig informativ velkomst af receptionisten. Blev indkvarteret på den anden side af vejen. Værelset var ok omend bruseren var meget lav og svær at vaske sig under. Alt i alt ikke en speciel god eller venlig oplevelse. Vores råd: find et sted udenfor Santa Rosa

Hyggeligt historisk og gammelt hotel i centrum af Santa Rosa i gå-afstand til alt. Lidt forældet med træk-og-slip-toiletter.

The room was nice and big. The bed was ever so comfy. We had a king bed. The amenities were nice but would have appreciated a fridge, microwave and safe. Our sink had a big crack in the bowl, and the handles were back to front. We did mention to reception on our way out just as an FYI. We did not realize that Grossman's Noshery was part of the hotel. Very nice restaurant and bar but closes at 6 or 8. Totally appreciated the bottled water. The first night was quiet but the second night we had a very loud couple, who left their second story French doors open with a radio playing while they proved their fondness for each other if you follow my drift. We were on the ground floor. That started at 2AM and didn't end till 5AM. At first wasn't sure what to do, sounded like someone might be getting harmed. Thought about calling, but who do you call and what could they do ey? Otherwise, room was very clean and again, that bed was ever so comfy.

We enjoyed our stay here. The location is very nice. Railroad square is a lovely part of Santa Rosa. Grossmans deli is attached to the hotel. A classic deli with delicious sandwiches, bagels, lox, etc. And there is a nice coffee shop right across the street.

Hotel La Rose was so nice! Great decor and romantic vibes. The front desk staff were super welcoming. Parking was convenient, we enjoyed the businesses near by and the proximity to everything was great. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. One of the best hotel beds I’ve slept on honestly. I was pleasantly surprised given the price and the fact that it was a holiday weekend. Feels like we found a gem and will definitely return again :)
