This place is simply amazing. The staff is super friendly and kind. They even had a hot tub. My main goal is to have something close and convenient to the ski resort. This fits the bill and the value for price is one of the best I’ve ever had. The room is cute, cozy clean, and has everything you need. The shower had hot water and it came fast. The heater worked really really well. Nice towels and bedding and across the street from a ridiculously good pizza place. The instructions and check-in was super easy. I don’t know why people are complaining or leaving a bad review. It’s literally about a four or five minute walk at most but obviously you’re gonna drive there. I definitely recommend.

Was up in Tahoe doing a few hikes and this inn was a delight. Very close to everything in South Lake Tahoe, maybe 10 min drive to Stateline? Walkable restaurants and coffee Nextdoor and across the street. Hot tub is a nice touch and there’s a GRILL guests can use! I had no idea till my last day there. Pretty cool. Definitely staying again!

Park in front of the room. Security lock on the door. Coffee machine, Microwave, and refrigerator are in good condition. LED light on the mirror with touch button. Hot water takes a bit longer to come. Perhaps it was a bit difficult to adjust for the right temperature with the tilting stick for temperature. Comfortable.

We went for the renaissance faire that is nearby. Parking was easy and convenient. The room was clean and perfect. The staff was friendly and there’s a great pizza place across the street. Definitely would recommend and most likely will be back next summer!

Great location and great price. Conveniently located just off Emerald Bay Road, near walkable restaurants and just a block from Raleys. Room was super clean, comfy bed, hot tub was nice after some long hikes. Can’t best apex inn. Have stayed here multiple times now and will def be back. A nice cherry on top is a grill they keep stocked with propane they guests can use to bbq and there’s a could picnic tables as well. Can’t wait to come back!

The staff is always so nice and professional. The rooms are clean, plenty of parking, it's quiet. The towels are okay but if you stay in hotels a lot like I do, you know they don't use softener due to people having allergies. The sheets are fresh and always clean. The water pressure is good too. The pillows are amazing!. All in all, I have stayed here before and will do so again.

Check in and out was very efficient and attendant was friendly. The room was very small (but clean) and the sink was backing up. It was remedied quickly, but we were lucky we discovered that quickly. We stayed at the property for a quick overnight, and it was perfect for that. Very rustic. For a pit stop I would absolutely recommend, for a longer stay however I would look at another option.

I have stayed at this small motel a few times and have always had a nice stay. I usually book a room with a king bed. The room has a good size refrigerator which I appreciate. Enough USB ports to plug in all my electronics. Great heater so the room is plenty warm in the winter, nice hot water too. The room has always been very clean and the bed is comfortable. The room is small but it is just right for me! I always try to stay here when I am in South Lake Tahoe.

Check in was easy and quick, very friendly. Room was recently remodeled and very clean. Only down fall was our room was a downstairs unit and the upstairs neighbors were very loud, You could hear very foot step, sounded like a herd of elephants. Next time we will ask for a room that does not have upstairs neighbors. :)

Just big enough to fit for two queen sized beds that were wall to wall with no access to clothes hanger without jumping over bed. Could use a new coat of ceiling and door pain and fix broken bathroom window. Definitely just a place to lay your head for just one night, if tou don’t mind a comfortable bed ans a tight room.

Having to check in at a separate property was extremely stressful and inconvenient. My wife was very upset by this. Also no available front desk at some times of the day. Lastly the ice machine did not work. Hand written cardboard sign saying it needed to be repaired.

It was a very comfy room, although small, but it served our needs. It was a little inconvenient having to check in and out at the High Country and not the Apex though. It was nice having a pizza restaurant right across the street, and it was very good pizza. And apparently we were the only ones here.

Loved the service we received as we checked in. Super friendly and even helped us with A burger suggestion that was SPOT ON. Tahoe Bros. Burgers were amazing. Thank you for the tip.

Great location and great price. Conveniently located just off Emerald Bay Road, near walkable restaurants and just a block from Raleys. Room was super clean, comfy bed, hot tub was nice after some long hikes. Can’t best apex inn. Have stayed here multiple times now and will def be back. A nice cherry on top is a grill they keep stocked with propane they guests can use to bbq and there’s a could picnic tables as well. Can’t wait to come back!

The room was very clean. Staff seemed to only be available at their other hotel, but it's about a block away, so not too bad. Check in is not until 4pm. There's a small picnic table outside to eat on. Nothing fancy, but the room itself was fine. Mini fridge, microwave, and a small table with a coffee maker. It was close to all the beaches and Emerald on the opposite side. Very good pizza restaurant directly across the street. Overall good experience.

Very clean, quiet and updated room. If I could change anything, i would\'ve like the addition of a "soft" pillow. There were 3 heavy foam pillows, i would\'ve liked a choice- Personal choice. An easy walk to Ernies coffee shop.

We went for the renaissance faire that is nearby. Parking was easy and convenient. The room was clean and perfect. The staff was friendly and there’s a great pizza place across the street. Definitely would recommend and most likely will be back next summer!

Outside appearance not great but our little room was clean and comfortable. Queen bed, bathtub to soak after skiing, microwave and fridge all included. Had to do the check in at a different hotel but it was only 2 hotels over. Ate at an excellent pizza place right across the street. Good food and service.

Stayed 1 night while on a 10 day road trip. Overall good for a night stay as a layover before moving on to our next destination. Had to checkin at a different property for some reason (High Country Lodge). Beds were comfortable but no breakfast.

I showed up to stay for a week at this facility and on the last day before I was able to check out they took it upon themselves to come in and throw all of my food away. That was in the refrigerator before checkout time. When asked about it, I was told that a manager would give me a call. I’ve waited three days now and I showed up at the office to talk to the manager. I was told I could not talk to a manager that I had to talk to the person that was at the helpdesk. That person then lied about the conversation My Wife had with the person saying it was OK that the food got thrown away when I know that conversation went differently because I was on the phone with My Wife whenever the conversation was had. This person decided to tell me that he didn’t care that my food was thrown away. He doesn’t plan on working there long and started yelling at me in the office. I would never recommend this motel to anybody based on the way I was treated.

Check-in is a different motel a block over. Only weird thing. Room was fine. Clean. AC worked, pillows are hard and a foot thick, so bring your own. Convenient location if a bit far from the active side of tahoe.

To check in we had to get back in the car and drive a few blocks to another hotel to check in, kind of frustrating after a long drive. The room was nice, met our needs for a night of sleep.
