We love staying here except that the parking is horrible when busy. The parking in back only has 4 spaces. If you plan on being out late , not sure where you would go to park

I was happy to have this more affordable option in the area, and it was about as expected. Still pricey, but you are paying for the location. Pros: Available and helpful staff, coffee in lobby in the morning, free parking, no theft or other problems. Cons: No door safety latch or in-room safe, cheap shower head, non-functioning coffee maker in room, very basic. I would stay again if I were visiting the downtown Boulder area because it really is the most affordable option and I got a good night's sleep all three nights with no major issues.

Great location. Nice and clean pool. Comfortable room! Don’t be scared by the Inn exterior look. It’s great!

Seems like the room wasnt properly cleaned before my arrival. Trash bins were full, some food in fridge. Internet was terrible, i had to keep walking outside of my room to connect. This was terrible because i had to work on a presentation for the next day. Walls were thin.

The supplies of shampoo, conditioner, etc had not been refilled. The laundry services were not available.

This Motel was quiet and clean with the exception of pet smell .it was a pet frienly!

Literally downtown so I didn't drive my car almost the whole time I was there. Swimming pool, laundry, all nice touches. Staff is friendly and unassuming. Will definitely stay here again.

Older motel, sparse room. But location is wonderful. On a busy street but noise was not a problem for us. No housekeeping but easy to get extra towels , etc. Bed was comfortable and free parking was a plus. Would stay here again.

Good location and price but felt very dirty there were toe nail clippings on the bathroom floor and stains on the sheets. Would I stay again? Yes but I would bring my own sheets next time.

The staff were very nice, and the location was very good. But the room looks a little old and the rug and sofa wasn’t clean. Also the lotion and hair conditioner were almost empty and upon my request they said they will refill but they never did.

Completely out of soap, shampoo, and body wash. This was discovered when in the shower, of course. Dispensers were so empty that they had either never been filled since installation, or hadn't been filled in weeks. No offer of compensation was made.

The shower was not clean. There was pubic hairs on the ledge, walls and corners. The shampoo/body wash/ conditioner bottles in the shower that didn’t have even a tiny bit of soap, neither did the soap dispenser next to the sink. And, no bar of soap was provided. Made me wonder if the bathroom even got cleaned. Unacceptable. The bedding seemed clean.

Overall the his Inn was fine for my purpose. Price was good. Location was ideal for my destination. Room was clean and spacious. Surrounding area was a bit noisy TV was not working properly and needed pass code that staff did not know how to provide.

As advertised. Looks a little worn from the outside but room was super clean and up-to-date. Quieter than expected but there were no students around being summer break.

The property is a Motel not a Hotel. The a/c barely worked. We ran it 24/7 on the lowest temp we could and still felt warm. The bathroom window would not open all the way and would not close all the way. The handle was a crank type and was broken off. The plug in the bathroom did not work. The body wash ran out mid shower. As much as they charge you would think they could maintain the property better. It is definitely not worth the price.

Regular motel on outside, but the rooms have been nicely remodeled. Great location. On the boulder creek trail. Short walk to pearl street. Good price for this area.

This is a 1950s style motel, and everything is minimal including wall thickness. It is on a major street and you will hear cars, trucks and motorcycles go by in addition to every sound in the adjacent rooms and the one above. It's one virtue is it was very clean.

All good but a/c was kinda loud.

The room was as pictured but the odor of the room was extensively musty, mildewy (ughh) that did not improve with AC or opening windows or doors.

Very basic hotel, kind of outdated but good bed and great shower. Great location.

Freezing. We had end room in end of November. Each room only has a manual wall heater which was turned off, so the room was at best 40 degrees, and the bathroom even colder .. I’m really surprised the pipes didn’t freeze. The heater on full blast only got the room to temp about 5 hours later. Until then we froze in bed fully dressed in down jackets, hats, and two blankets we thankfully had in the car. Tiny parking lot was full so had to park out back which was a trudge through snow.

Perfect location, picked for its convenience and reasonable price. Staff was friendly. Let us check in early when room was ready. Overall will stay again if in Boulder

I am not happy with this hotel and have started staying elsewhere. There are several serious complaints that I have. I have stayed here 3 times recently (in the last 6 weeks or so) and this is my complaints: 1. The rooms are never clean. I have received 3 rooms and each and everyone was awfully dirty. The last room even had blood on the comforter. OH MY GOD! What? Who does that? 2. I always find hair in the shower and every single time I have found stuff around the bed. Do they even vaccum? 3. I brought 1 piece of equipment with me, which was a mug press because I had to work. Well, I am a dumby and left it behind (200.00 piece of equipment). I called the hotel about 10 times and continued getting the run around. I emailed and never got a response. Then I showed up 3 different times and was told I had to come at different random timesd (basically anytime but right now) because they had no clue. Regaurdless, it's been a month and I still have not gotten it back. 4. On my last stay, I had to hear some dude beating up his girlfirend at 4 am. Then the homeless were at their camp, which is right behind the hotel, and they were screaming profanities until 6 am (when they probably passed out) and were fighting. It was terrible. I asked for a late check out and was told "No, sorry. We've given out too many and i don't have anymore in me to give. Be out promptly at 11. Goodbye"\ If you can stay elsewhere, please do!

This is 2nd time we have stayed here while passing through Boulder. Great location and great service/management . The front desk person even helped me jump start my vehicle in the morning when it was dead!

No hot water in room 104=no hot shower in the morning. When told of this, the morning front desk clerk said he'd let maintenance know and then offered no apologies on behalf of the motel. Didn't even say thank you for spending my money on a substandard experience.

The young woman was unpleasant like she hated her job

The room and beds were very clean. It's a motel so the entrance to each room is from the outside. It was close to downtown Boulder and I stayed here so I could walk to the free shuttle bus on weekends to Eldora Mountain for skiing. The only negative for me was that I left my luggage with them when I went skiing and there was no locking it up nor did I get a ticket or anything. You just had to trust them. It worked out fine but would have preferred something a little more "official".

The young man who checked us in is delightful. Extremely friendly and helpful.

Staff was attentive to my needs. I asked if coffee would be available at 5:30 AM and they made sure it was.

Great location for all things Pearle and CU.

Perfect location for walking to Pearl Street, CU campus, University Hill, Boulder Creek path, etc.

Stayed with two young children. The property is ideally located!!! No frills. Front desk Is helpful and pleasant. I’ll stay again when we visit boulder.

The best thing about the University Inn is it's location. Walking distance to CU campus and Pearl Street Mall.

The location close to the university and the Pearl Street Mall is ideal and convenient.

Great little affordable motel, smack dab in the middle of Boulder. 5 minute walk to Pearl St., 10 minute walk to campus, short drive to Chautauqua or numerous other hiking spots.

We picked University Inn for its amazing location in heart of Boulder. You can walk to stadium, campus, Pearl Street and The Hill in minutes. In fact, you don’t need your car once you pull in. (Beware, there is a homeless camp near by, and you do see elements around town.) It is not a impressive looking motel when you pull up however. Vintage 1962, but rooms are updated and very clean. The is friendly and helpful, We we’re in town for a big football game, and we couldn’t have made a better choice to see all the action around this very hip college mountain town!

Perfect location on between CU campus and downtown Pearl Street. Easy walking distance to everything. View of the mountains. Rooms are spacious and clean.

The location was very convenient (walking distance to downtown and campus and very quick access to running/walking trails). This was the main reason we chose it. Not particularly quiet but not as noisy as I'd have expected given the very busy location. Room was quite basic, but clean. Many dining options nearby.

Our stay was okay except for the fact that we were told breakfast was included, but there was only coffee, nothing to eat. The room was spacious and functional, no heating in the bathroom, though. We had to leave the door to the bedroom open. Color theme of the room was brown. Not very uplifting. The location was great, that’s a real plus and the staff was friendly.

Last minute booking in Downtown Boulder. Great location, decent rates...could offer simple breakfast and coffee options. We liked it!

The location was good. Shopping and dining all within a mile. Hotel was clean and quiet.

It's an older building, but our room had been refurbished and was clean and comfortable. However, the traffic on Broadway is noisy and there are no seals on the door or around the HVAC unit, so a surprising amount of noise gets into the room. However, we slept well enough and fairly comfortable beds. The soap dispensers didn't work very well, but we didn't take the time to tell the management and instead just used a the bar of soap we bought. Overall, I'd stay there again. It's a convenient location and an easy walk to the restaurants downtown. The crepe shop next door is also very good.
