$25 for early check in.Pool and hot tub were closed. That would have been good to know in advance as that is why i book hotels. No big deal. First room had no tv nor fridge. They switched me to another and the key wasnt working. The girl at the desk did take carr of everything. After a quick nap, i realise that there is no toilet paper for the broken holder. Went to front deak, where another lady was asking for the se thing.. which they didnt have on hand but she did go get a roll and delivered to my room. Rooms have peeling paint everywhere. Hallways and carpet are dated but i do see housekeeping washing walls of the hallway and they seem to mop the elevator and reception area frequently. Breakfast is ok. This is a classic case of you get what you pay for. If you wanted a nice hotel you wouldve paid over $100. This isnt thailand lol im not mad at all. It is what it is. Probably wont stay here again

This hotel is falsely advertised as having a pool and hot tub. No chance those will be available anytime soon. The fitness facility is just a treadmill and a combo machine that we did not try. The entire hotel is in a state of disrepair. The baseboards in our room were either missing or screwed in after they did an unprofessional floor repair. There were roaches in the sink and the hot water took a while to heat up. No doubt, this has been the worst hotel I’ve stayed in. Felt unclean and unsafe. Should have paid attention to the reviews.

Tired property for sure. My door had to be sternly forced open every time as it needed a major adjustment. The television would not turn off unless you unplugged it. Carpets were dirty and lobby very uninviting. Outdoor pool and hot tub closed. Not at all happy with this stay.

Trash laying around property, notable disrepair everywhere, corrosion and brown water in interior pool, exterior pools closed and in rough shape, wifi didn’t work, tv didn’t work, and no power to bedside table/lamp and the associated outlet unaccessible behind headboard. Front desk said they’d come help with the TV but never arrived. Breakfast was dismal even by motel breakfast standards. Would’ve left that night but there wasn’t a vacancy anywhere nearby. Worst $100+/night hotel I’ve ever stayed at and only bad review I’ve ever felt inclined to make. Stay far away from this one.

The whole place is falling apart! Everything was either broken or falling apart! Lots of nasty stains on the toilet and bathtub! Very gross smell! And the breakfast person was so rude and didn’t refill the coffee! Pool and hot tub was broken and full of trash and rotting water! Probably why it stinks in the place! Very expensive for the price!!!

Front desk lady was hard to understand. Pool was out of order (which is the reason I picked it). Only one ice machine working. Elevator outdated. People were smoking pot and cigarettes in the building. The free breakfast was a huge joke, it had waffles, bagels or cereal, that’s it, no fruit no eggs no toast

There is nothing good about this place, avoid at all costs. Everything is broken, no amenities, rooms that wreak of mold and mildew cat pee dog pee and cigarette smoke. This place is a health hazard and probably legally should not be open. The rooms have missing smoke alarms and broken windows too

The staff was very friendly, However, the pool was down for renovation IN THE SUMMER you think this is something they would put off until winter. That is the worst part...TINY LITTLE COCKROACHES all over the room. In the bathroom, kitchen, even the bed. If they would exterminate the stay would probably be a 5 but this is too gross not to mentioned.

The place smelled. It was old and unkept. No comforter or pillows. Mattress was dirty and the sheets had stains. The people around our room were loud and the side entrance wasn't locked. We didn't even stay the night it was so bad. Room was none refundable so be careful.

It was not worth the $68. To stay there and then we'll never stay there again. It is extremely dirty and disgusting. There is no screen on the window, so bugs fly in. There's no smoke detector, its laying on the table. There's blood in the bathroom walls, it's really dingy and dirty that gets never been cleaned. . I should have checked out as soon as I checked it. It was disgusting. I'm very surprised that people still stay there. It needs completely renovated. I'm not sure when the carpet was last vacuums. Things in the room are broken. Don't work. It's sticky thing, dirty.

Comfy bed but terrible smell, blood stains on the curtains, curtains were broken, bathtub looked liked you would catch athlete’s foot stepping in it, the bathroom did not have a vent to air out smell, there were mosquitos and flies, and carpet looked dirty and stained.

TV Remote didn't work at all. couldn't change channels to TV at all. When I arrived, between 4 different employees, nobody could sign into their reservation or hotel system, so I had to give them my phone to verify reservation and room style. I know another person was also checking in right behind me and had the same issue. The wifi for guest was so weak it wouldn't even stay connected on the 3rd floor and was basically not accessible through various parts of the hotel.

While this hotel sits in an area that is nice overall, this particular facility was tucked back and felt unsafe. The rooms were very outdated. The flooring was buckling from previous water damage. The furniture was old & damaged. I could have found garage sale furniture in better condition. The internet & tv didn’t work. The bed & bedding was acceptable though.

While we were very disappointed to find out that the pool is closed indefinitely, and the hotel tended to be a little bit noisy because it's right by the highway, the rooms are decent, breakfast was good and we received excellent customer service from Jerome and Michael throughout our stay. They were very friendly and attentive and always offered their help and any assistance that we might need. Both made our stay pleasant and made us feel welcome and at home, which helped offset the disappointment about the closed pool. Thank you again, Jerome and Michael! 😀

Couldn't get the TV to turn on with the remote. Had to ask at the desk; the desk clerk said she was working her 19th day in a row. Also, no drinking glasses in the room. Some of us older people need to take medicine.

The receptionist Leslie was Awesome! Very nice, courteous and helpful. Many people were at counter and Leslie was able to maintain and conversate evenly especially when some guests were rude. Hope to see Leslie on my next trip.

On July 27 I booked a room at the baymont, it shouldn’t matter why except that when I arrived to the baymont I was refused to be able to check in because my address was with in so many miles from the hotel.. my hot water heater went out in the middle of the night and I needed a room so I could shower before work the next morning. There was nothing about this policy on hotels.com and when I asked the night employee at baymont I was told the policy had just been put into place a few hours before so hotels.com hadn’t had a chance to even see that I’m sure anyway I was refused but my card was charged the hotel wouldn’t refund the money stating I had to call the property manager. I could. It get a manager of any sort on the phone just someone from their rewards program that told me I had to pay 60 dollars to join their rewards program for them to look up the information. Hotels.com can’t refund the money until the speak with a manager and no one has called or answered and I still haven’t been refunded for the room I never stayed in

The property isn't as advertised. No coffee maker in the room and no sleeper sofa. The hotel is grossly understaffed and so filthy! The air conditioner in the room had MOLD in it! Breakfast is horrible!!! Half the time there isn't even coffee! They overcharged me on multiple occasions!! The manager, Nancy, she is a liar! She said that the over charges were their mistake and not to worry. Even promised a free nights stay until funds were returned to me. ($445!) Two days later and only one 'free' night, she demanded another $100 deposit plus $130 for another night. She then added that we would need to vacate the room so it could be cleaned before checking back in?! Unreal! I'm still working with my credit Card company to resolve this issue. Also, there was raw sewage in the lobby and no one cleaned it for more than 12 hours! I wouldn't stay there again!

I would absolutely stay away from this place especially if you have children. This area and the hotel is not safe. The area was not kept. It was very sketchy. The pool didn’t work, the ice machine didn’t work, and you could tell someone had smoked weed in our room. We sucked it up and stayed a night since we were out and about the majority of that day, but rained moved in which caused us to be stuck at the hotel for long periods. During this time we learned that our tv didn’t work and the tv stand was barely being held together. It almost fell on my daughter. I went down stairs to ask to change rooms or fix the tv and they told me there was absolutely nothing they could do. So what did I pay for at this hotel? A crappy room and HORRIBLE breakfast. They literally didn’t have syrup, sugar, or plates.

Building needs some updating. The bed was fine the room was good but the whole facility looks like it hasn't been renovated since 1993. Please add a hot tub. It was good for the price but I think I'll spend a little more money next time and go to a nicer hotel. There was also a guy doing drugs on the front porch and also wandering around checking out the cars.

The staff were polite and nice, but the hotel and surrounding area was very dangerous. There were drug addicts, staying at the property as well as hanging around outside.. this hotel was very rundown. Your hit with an odor as soon as you enter the hotel. The elevator was very sketchy.The continental breakfast was very poor. If you did not get down early enough, there wasn’t much of a choice. The pool was under construction. The room had a bad oder. The toilet, microwave and mini refrigerator were all disgusting. there was no blow. I had brought my own extra lock for my room door because I was traveling alone and I was very glad that I did because the door was not safe.. I tried to cancel my reservation, but I was denied by the hotel so I had no choice but to stay or lose my money that I prepaid. Lesson learned. There are much nicer, cleaner and safer hotels that are about the same price all over Colorado Springs.. I do not recommend this place whatsoever. June 2025

The stuff is very friendly very helpful accommodating what I didn't like about it is that every time I go there there's something wrong with the room like the vents don't work in the bathroom the locks on the ddoorswere flimsy and look like they got kicked in this last time I didn't have any trash cans the TV didn't work and the property looks sketchy. There's a lot of homeless hanging out outside I felt like I had to keep looking out for my car people were good service was good stay was okay.

Advertised as having a pool, but pool was down for maintenance the entire stay. (Which was the main draw for our kids) No wifi. Kept saying"they're coming tomorrow to fix it" but never did. Closed breakfast early one day of our stay.

This hotel is very dirty. The staff did not offer a greeting of any sort during my stay; although they were friendly once I engaged them. The breakfast was extremely limited and inconsistent. I was told there would be a meat option each morning and there was not. This was important information for me due to diet restrictions. In addition, you are fined if you need to get your breakfast and head back to your room to get ready. The only utensils available are plastic spoons and knives. There were no forks, which made eating difficult. Furthermore, there were no napkins available in the dining area. There are no sugar-alternatives for the morning coffee either. This was another problem given diet restrictions. There are not hair dryers in the rooms. I had to go to Walmart, which is just down the street, to purchase one.

Really nice amenities at this older hotel, like hair dryer, etc. Big spread at their breakfast buffett that, besides the usual cold cereals, muffins, waffles, & bagels included scrambled eggs and sausage. The room was very clean, although older furnishings and carpeting but nice, comfortable mattress so all was good for me.

Horrible hotel! Gave us an uncleaned room at check-in, no ice machine working in entire hotel! Poor layout very confusing and key cards un usable second night. Bed was uncomfortable and bathroom was a joke. No sink or mirror in bathroom, with no towel rack for kitchen/vanity sink. No full mirror for ladies to dress and closet had no luggage rack and only 2 hangers. Poorly run breakfast as well, out of eggs by 8 am on a Saturday and no syrup for waffle bar.

The Check-in was great the evening people helped us tremendously. Beds were okay TV in the bedroom was horrible. Went down for breakfast there was no eggs waffle mix with sour.Tables were not cleaned off Was told the next day would have eggs went down there Still no eggs only had sausage and waffles .Had to eat on plastic lids because there was no plates. The pool was Closed for remodeling was not on the website stating that otherwise I would have found another hotel Since I was traveling with my 2 grandchildren. I definitely will not stay at this hotel again
