Sehr nettes Personal, ausreichendes Frühstück. Pool und Hottub sind sauber und einladend. Das Zimmer ist sauber wenn auch etwas „Abgegriffen“ und Reparatur bedürftig. Alles in allem ist der Preis etwas hoch angesetzt für das was man bekommt. 70$ weniger wären angemessen.

My wife booked this hotel for us and had to make a change to the room to include two queen beds because I was joining them. The person she called weeks prior to the booking said it was fine and that she would make the change, and at the time my wife noticed that there were double queen rooms available. When we got there, not only did they not make the change but there weren’t double queen rooms available. And the person at the desk was indignant about it. After arguing with the woman at the desk for a bit, the hotel agreed to send up a roll away bed for an additional $80. Instead they sent up a baby crib that I could clearly not fit in. After understanding the confusion and getting help from someone who was nicer at the front desk, they sent up a fold up bed, which, upon opening it, had mouse droppings all over it. They apologized, came up and took the sheets, provided new sheets, and all was well. There were some redeeming points but this hotel failed to provide the things they made themselves responsible for and got indignant when called on it. We will avoid if there are other alternatives.

I had hoped this property would be a cheap and cheerful option for a one night stay, but it fell short in a number of areas. The lobby is nice and the man who checked up in was friendly. The property is basic and the cleanliness was... ok. The area was not great, there is nothing around and our view was directly of parking lot and mobile home park. My biggest complaint is that there is a gym on site; it is very basic, but it is there and actually it is quite clean however, it does not open until 8am. Most exercise happens before 8am so this is not particularly helpful. There is also no obvious reason why they wouldn't open it AND the staff is not empowered with an answer (nor did the gal at the desk seem to care). It would be so easy to get this right. I am likely to be in Ft. Collins A LOT in the coming months, but I will not be returning to the Kiva BW.
