SpringHill Suites Boulder Longmont

I made reservation a month before my husband’s surgery. Following his medical team’s orders, I called several times including our arrival day, to the hotel to make sure we had a king bed, roll in shower, on the first floor and near an ice machine, as he would be in a wheelchair for our 5 night stay. When we arrived we were assigned a 3rd floor room with a shower seat in tub and broken ice machine. I was told the people who got the roll in shower room wanted a king bed which the room we were assigned had. Front Desk said it was first come first serve. I said at no time during the several phone calls did anyone say that. I was told I would have everything I needed when I arrived. After talking to the manager the next morning, he said “ you booked with a third party and they were Marriott Bonvoy members so they got the room.” I said we are also members! He said that “we didn’t book thru their program, but with a third party, and the other people did, so they got the room.” Very frustrating as he also said they only have 1 room in the entire hotel with roll in shower. I specifically asked if they actually needed the roll in shower because they were in a wheelchair. He said no they didn’t. When I told him that we had an actual need of the roll in shower and working ice machine on the floor, he said “you booked with a third party.” Roof construction above our room was a big problem! At NO time was I informed that this would be occurring during our entire stay. Very loud all day!

Great stay. Rested very well

Below average Marriott property. Dated rooms and thin walls.

Outdated rooms which appeared to be dingy.

Hotel was clean and well maintained, very close to restaurants and shopping, appreciated the laundry facilities and breakfast was good!
