My only issue with the hotel was the pool area....if you are going to state you have an indoor pool, most would assume heated and not the temperature of an outdoor pool. IT WAS COLD and overly chlorinated. To the point where I can't get the smell out of hair or swimsuits.

Was here for 1 night. It was a good place to stay for 1 night. There is breakfast and coffee! The shower looked like it needed to be redone, the inside, the floor looked like it was repaired quickly, like a patch job. I think some rooms have updated furniture, ours wasnt. But its pet friendly here. Many guests had dogs. Theres a clean dog area w picnic benches to sit out at too.

Needs updating to in and outside. Floors in room soiled. Appeared to be there awhile, floor grime. Hot tub not functioning. Pool room very dated. Salida is a popular spot, surprising this property was not better maintained.

We had a very nice room. The hotel is quiet. Breakfast was ok. Unfortunately the hot tub was broken and the swimming pool seemed to have to much chlorine which burned our eyes.

We were not happy with our stay. The hot tub was cold, our bathroom was dirty, our AC did not work and not to mention when we went to our room the door was not shut by housekeeping they left the lock out to keep the door open. Staff was friendly but will not return.

The walls are very thin, we could hear full conversations by neighbors and people in the hallway even though it was clear they were held at a normal volume. Housekeeping started cleaning and vacuuming at 8am, which was impossible for me to sleep through. The breakfast was not good. There is only one entrance, which is inconvenient for carrying many bags in through the long hall. There was no comforter on the bed, just a stack of many many sheets, and only 3 pillows on a king size bed. I’d expect a minimum of 4, maybe a couple small pillows as well. Staff were all very nice and helpful and patient. The location is super convenient. The pool area was nice, clean and heated.

Everything was fine, except the bed was not very comfortable for me. They had old mattresses on them and needed updated to newer pillow top mattresses in my opinion. To me the most important thing about a hotel stay is that the beds are comparable not getting a good nights sleep can ruin a trip out of town

Good price. We stayed in the King suite with 2 beds and it was better than I was expecting. It was spacious, AC was cold, quiet, and in decent condition.

For a reasonably priced hotel, this was good. The rooms were clean, in reasonable condition, and the beds comfortable. The breakfast had lots of choices including good waffles and above average scrambled eggs and sausage every day. Negatives: 1) My bed squeaked some each time I got in our out of bed but my kids bed didn't. Also, we stayed 4 nights and I was told would get maid service after the 3rd night which didn't happen. All we needed was clean towels as we lost track of whose was whose so I exchanged our used towels for new ones at the front desk which was no big deal. It is not like a fancy new hotel but I would stay here again given the price was reasonable. The best restaurants and things to do in Salida are in the historic downtown just a 5 minute drive away and Monarch Mountain ski area was 20 minutes the other direction, so it was perfectly located for our ski vacation.

Checking in was awful front desk lady was nasty and rude. They have sketchy people who works there. One employee was in the hot tub when we went there and it was obvious he was on drugs kept passing out in the hot tub. The breakfast was nasty. Our room was not cleaned during our stay , never given clean towels. The toilet leaked all over the floor and backed up the whole time we were there. There is no carpet in the room and the floor was NASTY!! Heater didn’t work right.

Everything’s my was great. The room was large and comfortable. Breakfast starts at 6:30 and had a good selection including scrambled eggs, sausage patties, a waffle maker, mini muffins, cereals, instant oatmeal and more.

Everything’s my was great. The room was large and comfortable. Breakfast starts at 6:30 and had a good selection including scrambled eggs, sausage patties, a waffle maker, mini muffins, cereals, instant oatmeal and more.

Our stay was relaxing, our room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was amazing, make your own waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, cereal, and more. Coffee was available and hot.

You would think at $150 night they would provide more than just bread and eggs. Oranges were discolored and no bagels just two loaves of open bread shoved in the display. Everything was average 2 star stay.

Everything was just okay. Nothing fancy, nothing fabulous. It was sufficient. Breakfast was mediocre, but the gentleman preparing it was very nice and professional. Front door of hotel needs to be replaced with an automatic sliding door for easier entry with suitcases. Towels and washcloths appeared to be several years old and bleached to death. Those need to be replaced. J1 student should not answer the phone or be at the front desk by herself when she does not speak or understand English well enough to answer questions or split a bill. The person at the desk when we checked out handled this appropriately, but seemed annoyed that I was not happy about their allowing this non English speaking person to be at the desk alone. I would not recommend this hotel to my friends, nor will I stay again.

Everything was fine at the hotel, basically what we expected. The issue we had was we requested a quiet room since my wife has sleep issues. They put us on the first floor at the end of the corridor. There were people going in and out of the exit door at the end of the corridor right by our room. The slamming door was making loud noises early in the morning and also late at night. In addition, the people in the room above us were moving around late at night and very early in the morning, roughly at 5 AM which interrupted our sleep. I do not have issues with them because I don’t think they realized the noise they were making. We requested a quiet room so they should not put us on the first floor and near a loud exit door that kept banging off and on during our stay. We originally had booked a three day stage, but decided to leave after two days. We didn’t want to go through the hassle of moving to another room so we decided to just go back home.

I’ve stayed in 25 hotels over the past month and this was the worst by far. The Welcome mat out front was very dirty and the room was filthy. The sink top was broken in 3 places and repaired with silicone caulk. The bathroom floor was filthy and the tiles were cracked all over. The living area floor was also filthy and made our feet turn black. I refused to eat anything in their dirty buffet area. $209 for this dump is an outrage.

A great place to stay. we appreciate the parking lot as it accommodates our trailer when we are traveling for a festival in Salida. The breakfast has good choices. rooms are clean and beds are comfortable.
