Dishonest staff and management. Stay somewhere else. My wife and I booked this hotel for a long weekend, planning to enjoy the town while also doing some work from the hotel. When we checked in Thursday night, we were told the Wi-Fi was not working but that it would be fixed the next day. We were disappointed but figured we could manage. Friday came and the Wi-Fi was still down. We were again told someone was coming to fix it. It never worked for our entire stay. Afterward, I contacted the property and was told the Wi-Fi issue was caused by a lightning strike. That would have been useful information to know at check-in. If we had been told the full extent of the problem, we would have stayed somewhere else. Instead, we felt the issue was downplayed so we would check in and settle before realizing how serious it was. The property and Hotels.com then offered roughly $35 in compensation for an $853.94 stay where a major amenity was unavailable the entire time. We had to use mobile hotspots to work, resulting in data overage charges that were three times what they offered. Very disappointing experience and poor customer service from both the property and Hotels.com. I would strongly recommend staying somewhere else.
