I loved the hotel. The staff was wonderful. They gave me late checkout without hesitation. The room was clean and lovely. And the views and walkability are fantastic. However, the gym was very hot. Air conditioning did not work. It was unusable, which was a big disappointment. And I wish they had a pool or hot tub.

Staff is always fantastic especially front desk and leacale restaurant. Easy to walk to Greenwich avenue fifcfing shopping and access to I 95 right there yet property is quiet. Wish parking situation was easier as it can get quite full and patrons don’t always park straight. Guest parking should always be enforced.

I loved my stay! Everyone was very professional and welcoming. The room was beautiful and spacious (as was the bathroom). I thought the hotel's interior and exterior areas were so attractive. Everything was spotless. Others have mentioned the breakfast as a negative, but I thought it was just right. They have a very high-end coffee machine (it makes espressos, lattes, etc.), and all of the pastries were delicious. It was served in a cozy den off the lobby. I really appreciated being able to fully charge my EV on the premises (the valets took care of this). I never entered or left the hotel that the front desk personnel didn't speak to me, offer me water, etc. I was very impressed. Lastly, it is a super quick walk to the main shopping, art and dining area of old Greenwich. Highly recommend.

The staff was very friendly. They greeted us with a glass of champagne and had a happy hour each night in the lobby with music. The room was spacious and had a nice balcony which overlooked Greenwich Harbor. It was an easy walk to Greenwich Avenue, the main shopping and restaurant area of town. I’d recommend a stay here.

The property is clean and was beautifully decorated for the holidays. The staff was helpful and pleasant. My husband and I enjoyed our stay. We liked having coffee and cake in the library by the fire place while watching the snow fall onto the water. The glass doors and windows allowed for lots of natural light and view of the outdoors.

Very thin walls. I could hear people coming home at midnight closing doors and chatting. The room is outdated but the tv selections are great and has Netflix. The restaurant is currently closed for renovations but the hotel had a 'grab and go' breakfast which was fine. No place to really eat or dishes to use and no option for milk to eat the cereal. Bathrooms are small and towels are INSIDE the shower because they dont have a towel bar to hold them up.

The room was superb overlooking the marina area. Posh sheets, towels, robes. Great minibar and snacks. The bar in the hotel was bustling and just the right size. It also was open late to have a night cap after returning to the hotel. Great location too.

I always enjoy staying at the Delamar in Greenwich. Greeted with a valet and a glass of Prosecco after a very long day of driving and meetings was wonderful. Everyone was courteous and accommodating. The on site restaurant also great.. and not to mention being on the Marina with a lovely balcony. It is a beautiful hotel!!

Delamar is a 5* property except it’s inland on a canal with Long Island Sound a short walk away the view is just ok. Location is a 4.5. The staff tries. Some are top notch, some needing more training.

I loved my stay! Everyone was very professional and welcoming. The room was beautiful and spacious (as was the bathroom). I thought the hotel's interior and exterior areas were so attractive. Everything was spotless. Others have mentioned the breakfast as a negative, but I thought it was just right. They have a very high-end coffee machine (it makes espressos, lattes, etc.), and all of the pastries were delicious. It was served in a cozy den off the lobby. I really appreciated being able to fully charge my EV on the premises (the valets took care of this). I never entered or left the hotel that the front desk personnel didn't speak to me, offer me water, etc. I was very impressed. Lastly, it is a super quick walk to the main shopping, art and dining area of old Greenwich. Highly recommend.

The Delamar is by far my favorite hotel in the area. The rooms and common areas are charming and first rate, staff is always friendly. The reason for subtracting one star is that I forgot my laptop charger in my room and noticed it two days later. I called around to figure out where I might have left it (there were several possibilities). When I called the Delamar, the front desk told me that they had indeed found it and they would be glad to ship it if I paid the UPS charge…which I did. The staff was very friendly. They greeted us with a glass of champagne and had a happy hour each night in the lobby with music. The room was spacious and had a nice balcony which overlooked Greenwich Harbor. It was an easy walk to Greenwich Avenue, the main shopping and restaurant area of town. I’d recommend a stay here.

Staff is always fantastic especially front desk and leacale restaurant. Easy to walk to Greenwich avenue fifcfing shopping and access to I 95 right there yet property is quiet. Wish parking situation was easier as it can get quite full and patrons don’t always park straight. Guest parking should always be enforced.

Very thin walls. I could hear people coming home at midnight closing doors and chatting. The room is outdated but the tv selections are great and has Netflix. The restaurant is currently closed for renovations but the hotel had a 'grab and go' breakfast which was fine. No place to really eat or dishes to use and no option for milk to eat the cereal. Bathrooms are small and towels are INSIDE the shower because they dont have a towel bar to hold them up.

The room was superb overlooking the marina area. Posh sheets, towels, robes. Great minibar and snacks. The bar in the hotel was bustling and just the right size. It also was open late to have a night cap after returning to the hotel. Great location too.

Delamar is great. We are there about once a month, twice in October, to visit family. I’m always surprised there isn’t a perk for the regulars like a free upgrade. Otherwise, it’s always a nice experience. The staff is very attentive.

Valet parking is a good feature - but it was to find a valet. Had to find our own car twice. Again a welcome chocolate bar is nice, but really 1 small bar for 2 large adults. At $600 a night , I think you can spring for 2.

Ideal place to stay! Beautiful hotel on the water. We ate at Canoe restaurant nearby which was fabulous. Loved the Prosecco at check in and chocolate bar in the room. Great amenities! The doors do slam which was disturbing but suspect due to inconsiderate guest and not hotel’s fault.
