The check in was terrible, they wanted to charge me a late fee when I was not late. The room was smelly and uncomfortable. The AC didn't work very well at all. The WIFI didn't work at all so I had to go to the lobby to get them to log into a separate private network, and I was not given the password.

Definitely a lot of sketchy characters around this motel. There was also a cockroach in the bathroom... The place didn't feel as clean as other Red Roof Inns where I've stayed. Having said that, parking was easy, and the check-in and booking process was very smooth. The location is very convenient for drivers on the highway.

We stayed with our dog and they had a nice grassy area for walking the dog. Even though the Inn is near a highway it wasn’t loud at all. It is not of cause a 5 star hotel but it was clean and comfy enough to sleep. Plus allowing dogs with no additional charges is big plus. Will stay again.

The shower only had very hot or very cold, unless figured out the trick to turn it all the way around. The Wi-Fi certificate was not valid so didn’t work. Staff was kind though and helped with an alternative Wi-Fi. Didn’t get a full set of towels on the second day and didn’t get the coffee pot cleaned or refilled with coffee packets. And no hair dryer in room which I haven’t seen in a long time.

The first room was absolutely disgusting, it smelled like cigarette smoke, the front desk did immediately offer a second room however the second room was probably worse off because that one smelled like cat pee, and I had to go and clean the filter of the air-conditioning unit myself in order to get the unit to blow cold air. Also, we were greeted in the second room with a little party favor left in the toilet floating around, I’ll leave it to your imagination from there. I would give this zero stars if it was an option.

There were rock-hard pillow, burn holes in the bedding, broken lights, broken phone (unable to even call the front desk), missing fridge, missing smoke detector, rusty and jagged holes in the bathtub, and an ant infestation that made it impossible to eat or sleep comfortably. The water shut off to the whole building in the midst of getting ready our first morning without warning or explanation. I'm worried about what bugs we might not have seen! ICK!

It was a nightmare from the moment we checked in. There was three people at the desk but there was a never ending line to check in. Then we get to our room and the keys don’t work so I have to go back down and stand in that line again! Go back up and one key still doesn’t work but we finally get in with the other one and there is no bedding or pillows on our bed, no towels! So I had to go stand back in line and they tell me I have to wait that house keeping will be coming around! They finally come around and make our beds and when they leave I noticed they gave us two towels no wash cloths and there was three of us! So we asked the house keeping if we could have a couple more towels and she proceeds to yell at us in Spanish and say “only 2” no more! We ended up just leaving and going to dinner and the casino, when we come back my keys didn’t work again! After finally getting them fixed we go inside our room and my son goes to use the microwave and after it’s done heating up his food he opens it up and there is a cockroach running around inside! So disgusting! We end up finding more through out the room! There was no point in asking for a new room , I’m sure they are in all of them and we were leaving the next day. Again before we left my keys didn’t work to get into the room! I shook all my clothing and emptied all my bags before we left to make sure we weren’t taking any “friends” home with us! For the price that we paid per night, I wasn’t expecting much. The motel is very budget…you get what you pay for. That being said, it seemed safe. However there was a “nice lady screaming” quite frequently, though it seemed she was enjoying herself. And everywhere smelled like weed. Aside from that, it wasn’t bad. Actually my biggest issue is there is NO fridge in the room. But luckily we had a cooler.

Tiny, tiny bathroom, poor lighting and objects too close to the beds…a safe next to the head of the bed where our grandson slept. Missing coffee pot and was told they would need to “find” one. They did a couple hours later. Then on our 2nd night a loud knock on the door, after we were sleeping and the room obviously dark, a man arrived with another pot. The location has a dangerous way to get out with trees/bushes blocking the road. Our housekeeper did not arrive to make up the room on our second day. The one plus was that the room was clean,

It was good for a shower and air conditioning. The spring beds are so outdated it felt like we were sleeping on ironing boards. The bathroom could use a paint job. There was only 1 outlet that worked in the entire room.

We checked in and checked back out after not even 10 minutes. The room was OK at best but I got so uncomfortable staying there I had to leave. First red flag was the person at the desk red my room number out loud while there was someone else in the lobby. I should’ve listened to the majority of the reviews.

They asked for 100 deposit even tho I prepaid for room and my friends didn't have to do deposit and we booked the same ... Also I was twenty minutes early and they wanted to charge me 25 dollars for early checkin so we all waited outside in heat for 3 . Seemed silly staff not pleasant at all

When we arrived at the hotel, we went to our room and found the door cracked open. I did not feel safe entering so went back to tell management and asked for a different room. He refused but said he would check the room with us. We went together and he went into the room first, but immediately jumped back and said "This room is not good!". On the way back to the front office, we witnessed police responding to another patron who was blasting music, loudly singing, and throwing cigarettes down from the balcony. The manager explained that this was an employee who had been evicted from another Red Roof Inn. At this point, I did not feel safe staying at the hotel with my wife and kids, so we left. We have complained to both Red Roof Inn locally and through management and Expedia but were offered no refund for our 3 night booking, only Red Roof Inn Rewards points worth $20. I will write a detailed review on Yelp to try to save other travelers from this experience, but notice that Yelp is already full of detailed descriptions of the decent of this location.

Booked at red roof inn. When I arrived they told me they didn’t have my rooms and would have to book a room for one night across the street at the Clarion. They charged me more than my whole weekend reservation for one night. Was then told to return the following morning and they would have a room for me. When I arrived was told there was no rooms and would have to go back to my original room which I was told the previous night wouldn’t be available. Booked at red roof inn. When I arrived they told me they didn’t have my rooms and would have to book a room for one night across the street at the Clarion. They charged me more than my whole weekend reservation for one night. Was then told to return the following morning and they would have a room for me. When I arrived was told there was no rooms and would have to go back to my original room which I was told the previous night wouldn’t be available. It was a nightmare from the moment we checked in. There was three people at the desk but there was a never ending line to check in. Then we get to our room and the keys don’t work so I have to go back down and stand in that line again! Go back up and one key still doesn’t work but we finally get in with the other one and there is no bedding or pillows on our bed, no towels! So I had to go stand back in line and they tell me I have to wait that house keeping will be coming around! They finally come around and make our beds and when they leave I noticed they gave us two towels no wash cloths and there was three of us! So we asked the house keeping if we could have a couple more towels and she proceeds to yell at us in Spanish and say “only 2” no more! We ended up just leaving and going to dinner and the casino, when we come back my keys didn’t work again! After finally getting them fixed we go inside our room and my son goes to use the microwave and after it’s done heating up his food he opens it up and there is a cockroach running around inside! So disgusting! We end up finding more through out the room! There was no point in asking for a new room , I’m sure they are in all of them and we were leaving the next day. Again before we left my keys didn’t work to get into the room! I shook all my clothing and emptied all my bags before we left to make sure we weren’t taking any “friends” home with us! Definitely a lot of sketchy characters around this motel. There was also a cockroach in the bathroom... The place didn't feel as clean as other Red Roof Inns where I've stayed. Having said that, parking was easy, and the check-in and booking process was very smooth. The location is very convenient for drivers on the highway.

Went to this hotel with low expectatons because of the price and lack of amenities just to have a place to crash for the night after traveling from out of state for a wedding. Even with low expectations we were very dissapointed. Bunch of sketchy people loitering around in the parking lots and people blasting music from the balcony all night. Toilet tank appears to have previously been broken and the replacement lid didnt match/ fit. The eyehole in the door was damaged. We got a wifi password from the desk on arrival which didn't work. When we called the desk for assistance they put us on hold and hung up; called back they gave us another password that didn't work. We only ended up getting a short nap. Around 9pm someone came banging on our door aggressively and wouldn't identify themselves when we asked who they were and what they need. Happened twice in about a 5 minute period. We looked out the large window and didn't see someone and thought some kid or someone drinking could have been playing a prank or mistook it for their room or were trying to rob us (ground floor near a highway). When we called the desk to complain they said it was one of their staff who got a room number wrong for some kind of service but since it was 9pm we thought that was very odd. We were uncomfortable with the area and unsettled enough that we ended up opting to check out that night at about 9:30 and making the three hour drive back home the same day we got there. No discount.

Though the Inn sat in a nice wooded area, it seemed to be dicey looking. There were people who looked homeless walking around outside and one watched us the whole time when we walked our dog. It was great they accepted pets but there was no way I would take my dog out in the middle of the night. We had to give a $100 deposit on check in. When we got to the room it was run down looking, mounds of plastered on walls were holes had been covered, paint missing from door, cracked window, and the bed sheets looked like they had been slept in. We just didn’t feel safe and even though we were exhausted from a six hour drive and wanting to see Mystic the next day, we asked and received our deposit back. The Manager asked why we weren’t staying and I said we just didn’t feel safe. He told me “We are here”. Well how would that help us when the lobby wasn’t nearby? We did not get a refund. We drove through the night and rain six more hours to get home. We have stayed in Red Roof Inns before but this one was not the same quality.

I don't ever leave bad reviews of places, but I think it only fair to warn people about making reservations to stay at this hotel. It is not an acceptable hotel to stay in under any conditions. It's kind of insulting to have a hotel like this and expect people to stay here when the conditions are so uninhabitable. Where do I begin? You walk down a very long road through a wooded area that feels like the beginning of horror movie. The hotel lobby was "under construction" but I'm fairly certain that sign is up only as an excuse for the permanent condition of this unkept area. The gentlemen at the front desk was friendly so we were willing to overlook the condition of the lobby. We walked up the steps to our room and were certain the shoddy stairway would not hold the weight of both my daughter and I both of whom weigh under 120 pounds. When we opened the door to our room we were assaulted through our eyes, nose and mouth by a smell that was unearthly: feet, body order, cigarette and mold mixed with a touch a cat piss. It literally made me sick. By that I mean I vomited on the Uber ride out of town to get away from this place. I was sick for the rest of the day with the sense memory of that smell haunting me. Suffice it to say, we didn't stay there. Also, no cellphone service so it was hard to get a ride away from there. This place should be demolished and sage smudged deeply before building anything else. DO NOT STAY THERE!

The room was filthy. Both beds had stains on the fitted sheets. There was no iron or ironing board in the room. The room smells like marijuana and outside the room smelled like urine. We were in the room for 10 to 15 minutes total and then went and turned in our key and said we would not be staying here and they refuse to refund my money. Do not I advise you to do not stay at this hotel. It’s nasty.

Very disappointing, pictures seem to be a different property. Very poorly maintained, room was dirty with ants covering the AC, black mold in the bathroom and the mattresses were only springs. Tiny room even with small beds. Only stayed one night - couldn’t take more than a single night.

I had a roach in my room the hotel would be perfect if everything was renovated and cleaned the ac went out in my first room and the second room the toilet would be not stop running all night ground maintenance was horrible I don’t know how places like these pass inspection but other than that no complaints just could be way cleaner
