Extended Stay America Suites - Orlando - Altamonte Springs

The staff were very good. There was a musty smell in the hallways and rooms. The bathroom sink backed up. One elevator was out of service. This was a challenge on 8/6 because they had a crew there moving in new furniture.

I enjoyed my stay as the room was big and did the job for what I was staying for. I chose this hotel because I was evacuating for Hurricane Milton, and the room had a bed, tv, A/C and a bathroom. My only negatives were the room key would quit working every time that I seemed to leave my room for some reason, additionally the shower was filthy. The sink and toilet were clean but the shower was not in good condition. Every thing else in the room was fine. The parking was great and I didn’t have any other issues. The walls were thin I must say and I could hear a lot of noise in the hallway. The room and hotel was cheap but you get what you pay for.

An OK place for a short stay and if you just really need a place to sleep. There are no real amenities. No pool, no lobby other than a check-in space. It was clean and staff were friendly. It was a bit pricey for what you get.

Needed a weekend getaway on the cheap. This hotel is conveniently located, but rather run down. My room was clean and everything worked properly. Bed was comfortable. Hotel is noisy during the day but quiets down overnight so I had no trouble sleeping. Plenty of parking.

Terrible condition the worst imagine a small item like no ice machines i would never stay here again I paid 134.00 for this dump

This property is located off I-4 north of Orlando. Its across the street from Uptown Altamonte and Altamonte Mall. Lots of dining options on both sides of the Interstate. It does not have a fitness center, pool or spa. One of the elevators was out of order. It had grab-n-go breakfast and laundry facilities.

First, this is a non-smoking, long stay hotel. People are going to smoke outside. There is not ONE cigarette receptacle outside for guests to throw away the cigarette butts. The ENTIRE SURROUNDING of the hotel is littered with cigarette butts. Second, I've been here 20 days today. Currently relocating out of state. I've had to go days without fresh towels & linens because they aren't available. Also, if the front desk doesn't see you bring your used towels back they won't give you fresh towels.Third, 5 times now random staff has just tried to open the room to my door. No announcement. No reason. This is UNACCEPTABLE! Fourth, this is my last day here. I went to the front desk this morning at 9 am to inquire about a late checkout, get a coffee & return my used 2 towels I've been using for 3 days (again because they didn't have any available)...I was told to come back in an hour to get the towels then with regard to the late checkout, to come down to the front desk again at noon to pay $10 for said late checkout. Do you understand that if someone is asking for a late checkout because they are relocating to Georgia that would mean they need to sleep uninterrupted before they drive. So not only so I have to go to the front desk 3 different times to handle each issue separately but I've been woken up 3 separate times by knocks at the door on a Sunday - one an AC guy wanted to clean, then housekeeping after I already advised late checkout and again the AC guy after I already advised

I really wanted to give a better review because these people were very nice. Here we go, roaches were bad. Got in my stuff and even in the bathroom. There’s no excuse for this. Hire a pest control company and keep it under control. The laundry room was terrible. The dyers were either out of order or not working properly. Had to take a load of wet clothes to another laundry down the road 5 miles to complete my washing. Dirty floors, there was an area near the stairwell on my side of the building with an area that something was spilled. It stayed that way all week. Be proud and clean up your place!! This was the worst hotel experience for me in my entire adult life. I’ve traveled all over the world.

Overall good. However a few downsides. Grab n go breakfast is garbage - they don't even offer real creamer for the coffee. I leave for work early and the parking lot lights are not on in the dark - made me feel a little uneasy. They don't offer anything to help with keeping room clean (paper towels, swiffer to wipe up floor) and they only clean every 2 weeks. I don't feel that is sufficient; for me it should at least be weekly. However, they were always helpful and friendly and the place is pretty clean.

There was a strong musk smell on e you got off of the elevator. The room smelled like mildew. The tub paint was peeling off. There were bedbugs in the bed. I asked for a refund or to switch rooms but they wouldn't so there was a loss of over $100. Worst experience ever.

I have stayed at pther Extended stays and they were always clean, this one was not !!! Hair still left in the shower and on the pillow case

Hallways smelled like trash. All carpets have gross stains. Hotel smells like cigarettes.

The floors in the room were very filthy upon arrival and the room was very stuffy/muggy feeling, even with the A/C running. The bathtub was also not very clean and there were some stains/spots on the white linens.

Room was dirty, the room was supposed to be non-smoking but it smelled of smoke and there were cigarette butts in the room. Smoke detector was going off when I arrived and I was told the employee that could turn it off was not there. I asked for a different room but was told that was the only room available at that price. They wanted me to pay more for an upgrade. At least they did give me my money back.

We reached the hotel at 2AM. The person that helped us check in was nice. After getting our key and getting up to our room, we noticed an off smell (we think coming from the fridge, it was very beat up and dirty). I immediately saw 2 small (pretty sure German) roaches. I saw one more while inspecting the room. I tried to book at another hotel but by this time it was almost 3 am, so was unable to book for the same night. All we could do is pray that we don't end up bringing any back in our luggage. We also had no remote for the TV so we could not watch anything. Will definitely not be staying here again.

The hotel room smelled horrible ... We believe it was moisture coming from the AC. The bathroom tub had cracks with red and yellow stains, as did the bathroom sink. Not the cleanest, at the end of the day you get what you pay for.

The appliances were very rusted and old . Bathroom had visible cracked seals etc. At night someone above my was being so loud I couldn’t sleep. I called the front and they told them to be less loud . The noise seized for a couple minutes . Unfortunately I can’t stay here again.

Although the location was fine the hotel shows its age, the upkeep and the maintenance seems to be done adequately. The room was large and comfortable with missing cabinet doors in the bathroom and warped drawers in the kitchen. Would not recommend this location very extended stay

Arrived there nobody would answer and the door is locked to get access to front desk . After trying to call no answer finally someone leaving hotel opened door but after 10 more min the guy showed up i made and had paid for my room but they would not let me have it sonce i left my wallet by accident .

Enjoyed our stay. Comfort and Sandra the manager was excellent.

Cristina was fabulous! She was friendly and, helpfully, very specific in sharing information.

Overall the place was ok, decent location, I had to stay here for a few weeks and I can say that the staff is friendly. I will warn you that they are requesting $100 deposit which is not listed in hotels.com when you book the reservation. Also the manager is looking for excuses to not give back the deposit even though the rooms are already beat up and nothing special. For the price there’s much better rooms around.

First the staff went at the front desk. They had a phone you could call them after hours to get help so I called that multiple times no one answered or came. I had to wait got someone to come. After about 20 mins they came. The refrigerator in our room is old, dirty on the outside and was louder than the sc unit. The tub needs to be resurfaced bc it’s peeling. The room was very clean though & the beds were comfortable. They have long hallways & we were at the end but other than that it was ok. No moose other than the fridge going on and off loudly. I just became a new travel agent & though it’s quiet & clean I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Great location

Everytime I choose to stay in Orlando, for just a weekend or so, I choose here cause not only the beds for me, feel great, most of the locations of the property are around a lot is stores & restaurants, so you will not have to travel far for shopping or dinning

The place is definitely rough around the edges, but we had a fantastic stay. The property is safe and is in a great central location with a ton around. The overall hotel is run down and outdated, but our room was SPOTLESS. The bed was comfy, we had everything we needed. If you're looking for a high end, updated stay, this isn't it. But if you're looking for somewhere of value that is clean and a good place to sleep, this is an excellent choice.

Eventhough its located in busy Altamonte Springs, it's off the beaten path where its quiet and peaceful. The staff was so pleasant and helpful. We only stayed one night but my elderly mother had to be rushed to the hospital. After notifying the front desk about what happened they were so helpful and understanding. No one tried to rush us out (check out time was 11;00am). They allowed me time to care for my mother and finish checking out at my convenience without charging me extra for checking out late. I will definiy use them for longer stays in the future!

This sketchy hotel is best described as dank. There were people loitering in the parking lot at all hours.

It was a place to sleep. Would be nice if they had decaf coffee available for breakfast and rooms.

The pictures online are a lie. It's definitely a cheap hotel. Soon as you walk in it smells like fish everywhere. And not the good kind. We paid for the continental breakfast. What was for breakfast? Muffins in packages and nutri bars. Nothing else. Our keycards didn't work for outside. We never had new towels or new sheets. Everything in the room was just okay. Would I stay here again? Absolutely not. But it wasn't motel level bad. If you have nowhere else and just a night... It isn't too bad. Anything longer than that I would say gone somewhere else.

The room was very nice. The staff was nice. Only a couple things could be better. 1. The hot and cold water were backward. 2. The breakfast wasn't very good. Muffins were not real fresh. No butter. Only grits, no oatmeal. No juice or milk.

The hot water wasn't working in the shower and the sofa bed was horrible. No extra blanket or sheet for the sofa bed and all you felt was the springs. The breakfast area was dirty and no coffee available. All the coffee pots were empty and all they had was some Apple Kellogg's breakfast bars. Terrible stay. I don't recommend anyone using that hotel for the price I paid of $100 for one night.

Well it was very close to a reunion that was happening at Cafe Murano, so it was perfect (2 blocks away). It's extended stay, but some travelers might not understand that idea. The staff or maybe a little flyer could explain that things like hair dryers and everything else are available at the front desk. It was shown on a small table top card in the room, but the best time to explain is at check in. Very simple and easy improvement for the regular hotel guest that ended up in an extended suite.
