Sonesta Select Boca Raton Town Center

Friendly staff, decent hotel. Rooms are a bit old but still clean. Air condition doesn’t seem to work though in the reception area. Third time we stayed here and always hot in the reception area.

Parking is convenient, staff are friendly. The pool is big enough. There are tables around the pool, which is nice. It would be nice if there's a bar at the hotel or by the pool.

Nice hotel and close to several restaurants. While clean and quiet, 3 things of concern. First, my reservation was for a King Hearing (handicap) room, and this type room was not available upon check in. We checked in at 4 PM.....we weren't late which shouldn't be a problem anyway because we had a RESERVATION. We had to settle for a Queen room with the handicap features. Second, the water pressure in the shower and sink were extremely low. It took very long to take showers. If the hotel is trying to save money on water, the amount of time it took to shower defeats any savings. Last, the ice machine on the 4th floor did not work all 3 days we were there.

Sonesta Select Boca Raton has been my go to hotel for 4 years while my son has attended FAU, its location is convenient, the staff is awesome and the rooms are spacious. Usually I book thru a third party as it makes it more affordable. This trip just seemed a little different though, the pool was dirty, nobody bothered to clean it the day after some bad rain storms and the screen in my window was so dirty with grass that I couldn't even tell if the sun was shining. One of the front desk staff told me that they're under new management when I brought these issues to them. I will give it another shot on my next visit in December and hopefully this was a one time mess up.
