Cocoa Beach Suites Hotel

Elevator is currently not working and we stayed on 4th floor so it was difficult to carry luggage to our rooms.

Amenities like pool and laundry weren’t available, if you wanted that you had to go to another property a few blocks down.

Staff was wonderful! Accommodated all of our requests promptly and politely. We really enjoyed the pool locations that were offered to us! We will be returning.

No amenities but waffle house next to hotel. No pool, no property to use. Beach within walking distance. Better have a car. N2 restaurants within walking distance and a winn dixie down the street

The staff at check-in was very accommodating. Even though there is not a pool on the premises, the two sister hotels, where we could use the pools, were wonderful. Everything was very centrally located. We would definitely stay there again.

Convenient and friendly. No on-site laundry (have to take it to the Sheraton three doors down) and no place to sit outside. Room and staff were wonderful.

I was told there was a pool, front desk clerk said “there’s NO POOL” Next day, the new clerk said we could’ve used the sister hotel pool. That was not nice of the First front desk. Shame, shame, shame.

The property is located .3 miles from Ron John surf shop and numerous food and shopping options. I did see that they have pool privileges at the Four Point hotel next to Ron John Surf Shop. In front of facility is a Taco Bell and Waffle House. Everything is very walkable and they have a shuttle service for a fee to the cruise port. Staff was very friendly and the rooms are HUGE and very clean. Rooms have mini fridge and microwave as well. I was highly impressed for the price and location. We will definitely stay here again. Oh and I must mention as we all want a good sleep, their beds are very comfortable!!

The toilet had not been cleaned. It had hair and urine on the seat. Bed was rock hard. The couch has a stain on the seat. The blanket had stains on it.

Cockroaches were found in our room. Would not recommend. Some type of red liquid splashed on walls, dirt and crumbs around walls

The bed was very used and no springs let in them. Gross carpet throughout the property. Terrible mildew smell throughout the evening. Got up early to get out!

Very dirty. The room had a musty smell. The carpets were stained. The picture frames, light shade, and the bathroom ceiling had black mold all over. The wallpaper was a raking off in several places in the bathroom. One of the lights had rust all over it. Very poor conditions. The mold made this room a health hazard.

There was mystery stains all over the hotel room. ROACHES EVERYWHERE. LIKE SO BAD. There were dead ones behind furniture and the fridges.

Mold on the bottom of the shower curtain. Only one luggage dolly. Definitely needs updating.

Mold on the shower ceiling and carpet was awful! The location was good. A block from the beach and across from an Italian Restaurant. Several fast food restaurants too. So many small issues with non working lamp, non working electric sockets, etc

The employees here are wonderful, very nice and informative! The room was a whole different story, unfortunately the room I was in had cockroaches, the last night there I woke up in the middle of the night to something crawling on my face. Sadly I am not exaggerating, when I woke up on my checkout day I had apparently squished a cockroach (in the bed) in my sleep. Hair that was not mine was in the bed and in the shower, the toilet was not clean, makeup (likely waterproof mascara) was on the white towels provided in the bathroom. As a previous housekeeper & housekeeping inspector I look for a lot of things when I stay in hotels. The air filters in the a/c units must have been dirty because the smell was awful. Dogs are welcome here so expect barking at any hour, and also some urine smells. I told the lady at the front desk when I checked out and she was mortified, especially since she was recently transferred from housekeeping to the front desk due to being short staffed. Hopefully the new management can get these things fixed and maybe retrain housekeeping staff. Aside from my experience, the location itself is nice if you want to be close to touristy areas/shops. It's really close to the road (520) that takes you to Merritt Island and you are really only 15 minutes away (max) from most desired spots in the area.

Just needs a really bad update. But the location is perfect! I also liked that it had a separate living room with a tv and one in the bedroom. No pool, but other hotels around they partnered with to use there pools. Overall, its a great location and big rooms but needs updates. Good price

Our room #211 was very spacious and clean. It is dated but comfortable, my complain with this room is, the noise from the electrical room and elevator right next to it. Very hard to sleep in this room 😞.

One remote to share between 2 TV’s, channels didn’t match up to guide, no local channels and no one on site to look at it or get a 2nd remote. Lamp doesn’t work on switch because the wall switch doesn’t work. Front desk help didn’t have any answers.

Easy to hear other guests through the walls and ceiling.

The bed is hard as a rock and there are no blankets in the room. A thin sheet is all you get. Very dated property.

Room did not have remote controls for either TV. Desk help brought up a remote. No wash clothes in the bathroom. Both electric receptacles in the bedroom did not work properly. The plug on the lamps beside the bed were loose when plugged in.

Great place to stay on a budget. It is an older hotel, but the staff are nice and friendly, the rooms are super spacious, and it's walkable to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. We would stay again.

We stayed at Cocoa Beach Suites for 2 nights. The family suite was perfect for myself and 2 adult daughters. We liked having the small kitchenette. The room was comfortable. We did have one minor item that was resolved very quickly. The AC unit in one bedroom was not cooling properly. The Manager Erick was extremely friendly and helpful in getting us swapped to a different room with fully functional AC very quickly. We enjoyed the well lit covered parking space. We also enjoyed having a view of the ocean, the proximity to be able to walk to the ocean as well. We also really loved that the Waffle House was right next to the hotel. The property was accommodating, good location, comfortable and served our needs. We were happy.

Clean property and plenty of room in the suite.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the location is great. However, the rooms are in need of updating or, at the very least, a deep cleaning. The price, of course, is very reasonable, which I’m sure attributes to the lack of upgrades. Since we’re not inclined to spend a lot of time our room when traveling, it was fine for a short stay.

Customer service was exceptional, so very courteous and professional. The front desk customer service was exemplary. I woild definitely stay again due to the level of customer service.

Kevin at the front desk was incredibly helpful, professional, and accommodating. We booked 11 rooms for a large military group, and Kevin made our lives significantly easier by being proactive and getting us checked in quickly so that we could get on with our training mission. Kevin was the best front desk person we have ever worked with. Thank you for taking care of us sir.

Really good stay for the price. Getting checked in with a little slow because the desk clerk was not at the desk. Other than that, not bad.

Convenient if you are going on a cruise

The property is an older property, it is outdated. However the rooms were clean, large and had friendly service. Very close walking distance to the beach and a short 5-10 minute walk to Ron John surf shop and other shopping and dinning options. We will definitely stay there again.

We booked this place because it was close to the harbor before our cruise. It was convenient to dining and shopping options. It was also a short walk to the beach, which was gorgeous at sunset.

The location was ideal. Exactly what we expected and needed. Couldn’t ask for anything more for the price we paid.

Great location with beach right down the street and close to beach shops and restaurants. We went on a cruise and the location was not far from the port.

We had a delicious dinner at “J’s” a block up The front desk clerk came to start our tv. Your handicap rooms are furthest from the elevator- bad builders choice.

An awesome place for the price if it’s just a couple of you. Don’t recommend if it’s for a vacation for bigger families and kids as there is no pool, no breakfast or bars etc. Recommend resort style. But awesome place just to sleep, relax, 5 min walk to the beach so great location! Super clean. Definitely recommend if you’re just there and don’t care for the breakfast side and pool!

booked Cocoa Beach Suites because it was just 10 minutes away from Port Canaveral, which made it a convenient place to stay before our cruise. Overall, the hotel was average in appearance but suited our needs for a one-night stay. The biggest highlight of this hotel is its location—it’s excellent! There’s a Waffle House just a minute away, and plenty of shops and restaurants right across the street, making it easy to find food and other necessities. As for the room, it was a suite with a separate living space and bedroom, which was a nice touch. However, the amenities were somewhat lacking. There was a sink and a refrigerator, but no dishes or silverware, which would have been helpful. Some of the appliances were outdated, and there were minor maintenance issues, like rust on a lamp and some carpet stains. That said, these weren’t deal-breakers for me. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was adequate—which is really all we needed for a short stay. While the hotel isn’t fancy, it’s a solid choice for a budget-friendly overnight stay, especially before a cruise. I would stay here again, and I’d even consider bringing my kids since the space is convenient. For the price and location, it’s definitely worth it. Plus, the staff was great, which made the experience even better.

Property is a room only type of hotel. No lounge, restaurant, or pool on site. Good for a quick night stay before our cruise.
