We had a two bedroom with two full bathrooms. Full kitchen, freezer with ice maker. All kitchen supplies, soap, dish towel, dishwasher detergent etc....setting for 6, all supplied. Lazy river and pool area are super fun and clean too...Tiki bar is adorable and food menu is simple but fresh and yummy. Building 7, is closest to the beach, but may cost an upgrade charge. It was well worth it, with only a 200 yard walk to get to the waves. Rest of the buildings are at the pool fun. All Staff were attentive and friendly. They provide towels for swimming too. We will return. Only cons are laundry is included but machines are not in the rooms, there are two large laundry rooms for the guests, they give you tokens, detergent. No housekeeping services but they will bring you - refresh any towels or amenities or kitchen supplies you request.

Honestly, the place doesnt look like the photos. This was an old motel that has been renovated poorly. The rooms themselves and the splash pad were great(however, the beds are extremely uncomfortable)....but the only food option is the bar where you'll receive extremely overly priced food you cant even stomach. We were made very uncomfortable by several staff members for being part of the LGBTQIA community and accessing anything was very inconvenient. There are no elevators, so you have to get your luggage up 2 flights of stairs if you're on the 2nd level. Highly dont recommend. In no way, shape, or form do I consider this to be a "resort".

Great place to stay. The rooms are the size of an efficiency apartment. Very clean. The staff was very accommodating. Did lots of walking. Shopping all near by and the pier was approximately a 30 min walk on the beach. The only complaint was that even though the pool was heated, the lazy river was not.

The children's water park is closed and under construction. Workers are cutting up concrete and the noice and dust was terrible. Did not make for a relaxing time. I felt the resort should have advised in advance of reservation that this was happening.

The property advertised a water park feature with water slides. We arrived to discover the water slides are gone and the resort didn’t mention this on any of their marketing or website. Our children (5 & 7) were very upset the Waterpark wasn’t there. So we spent our first couple hours upon arriving with crying upset children. Horrible way to kick off a vacation. Additionally our shower was broken in our room. This resort is not worth the rate they are charging. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

It was very clean, and family orientated. Even though it was an older property it was well maintained and updated. Very accessible yet secure and quiet after 10pm; great layout, the only issues were the splash park was under construction, and we were never informed of this prior to arrival {that was our main reason for choosing the property} and the only "restaurant" didn't have a full food selection the first night so we ate out each night--which wasn't a big deal since every restaurant we tried had excellent food and was close by.

There are 2 nearby grocery stores which was nice. We didn’t use them but they have gas grills if you wanted to cook on the grill. Enjoyed the hot tub, pool, lazy River and beach. Staff were helpful. We ordered food and drinks from the pool bar which was very good. It would be nice to have housekeeping during our 8 day stay, but we made it work. Couldn’t get Netflix to work on the tv, it was also limited to 3 devices on WiFi at a time which was hard since there were 4 of us. We took the shuttle down to the Cocoa Beach pier which had some stores and we ate at a restaurant overlooking the beach and watched the surfers. We drove into Orlando which wasn’t too far. We had a great time.

We stayed at the Westgate for two nights for a staycation from Orlando and we all had a blast! The rooms are beautiful and spacious! Our kids had the best time. Everything is super clean and comfortable!

Loved this property. Perfect for a get away with young kids. Friendly staff and very clean. I wasn’t aware at the time but if you want your room cleaned or restocked during your stay you need to request that. Not an issue for us and we plan on returning.

Pretty much we expected and it was a great place. I hate to complain but there was a smell in my room that pretty much knocked you over when you walked in. Best way to describe it would be to compare it to a mix of drain cleaner and ammonia. When I got back home and put my CPAP machine on…oh dear God it was that smell again! It took two hours to air it out. Great everything but being able to breath and not wanting to go in your room was a serious issue. I’m not a wacko that leaves bad reviews but this was way over the top bad.

Stayed for a week with family. Great location. Room is huge, clean and had everything we need. Very happy with my choice to stay here. Pool area is great for kids, they had a great time. Will definitely stay again.

Upon arrival we were told that the kids water pod was closed until further notice. The washer/dryer area is a little to be desired. My son was full of bites from sitting on the couch in our room as did I one night. St this point I had had enough and left a day earlier. Pool and lazy river was ok. Food and drinks very expensive at pool side. The room we stayed at was a two bedroom unit which was on the main road. Bedrooms had no windows and it was very dark with faux shutters. Every time we showered there was a smell of sewer. Upstairs people were very noisy and we bought a fan to block their noise at night. On a positive note I did like the kitchenette area.

We had a great time and enjoyed the vacation the only issues we had is the actual room, although it was nice it was not maintained as well as it should be in my opinion, it was an expensive room and some of the finishes were not up to par as to what I would expect a room of that price should be. Some of the lighting in the ceiling were falling out, the bathroom was very small and tight and the room was smaller than what it looks in the online pictures, the exterior door had paint falling off of it. All in all not bad but the rooms need some better upkeep for the price they charge

Overall good but kind of updated. Also, the floors in the rooms/apartment were so sandy when we checked in. Great Tiki bar - great waiters there and very good drinks.

Loved the short walk to the beach and the rentals that were on the beach. The shower glass was not caulked and sealed so it leaked water all over the floor. The beds weren’t real comfortable. There was no carpet in the room which was good since it is a beach resort, but a broom would have been nice to have in the room for sand clean up. You could hear every move the people made above us even when the toilet was flushed. Overall it was an ok place to stay.

Great location, perfect for families with kids. Our room was wonderful, did struggle with the air conditioner not working glad it wasnt midsummer yet. Staff was great and kids loved it!

Decent place. Spacious 2/2 with full kitchen and living room. A bit dated but clean. No room service and food stops at 830. Drinks are overpriced, overall a decent experience. Walking distance to the beach. Great location! Great for kids!

For the price, I was expecting much more. Our door looked out to the busy road and the rooms were tiny. We paid top dollar to be near the ocean, but in fact we weren't even that close.

Every time we showered there was a smell of sewer. Upstairs people were very noisy and we bought a fan to block their noise at night. On a positive note I did like the kitchenette area.
Upon arrival we were told that the kids water pod was closed until further notice. The washer/dryer area is a little to be desired. My son was full of bites from sitting on the couch in our room as did I one night. St this point I had had enough and left a day earlier. Pool and lazy river was ok. Food and drinks very expensive at pool side. The room we stayed at was a two bedroom unit which was on the main road. Bedrooms had no windows and it was very dark with faux shutters. Our spacious 2 bedroom/ 2 bathroom unit was connected to another room by a locked door, which unfortunately was not very soundproof and we had loud neighbors. It would have possibly been worth the money if the pool was heated but it was very cold and we did not use it. The hot tub was too crowded to get in. The drinks from the bar were good and the bartender was friendly. I did not order any food from the hotel and would have liked to see a more creative menu. The front desk staff were very helpful and pleasant and our room was clean. Around 7:00 in the morning someone banged very loudly on the door as if there was an emergency. I got up and cracked the door (with it still locked on the top latch) and there was a confused maybe 30 year old male wearing a security-looking uniform. Upon asking if I could help him, he replied he thought the room was empty, must be wrong room. Closed the door and re-locked. 20 minutes later the door OPENS and luckily I had the top latch hooked so it only opened about an inch. This time it was cleaners and they did not bother to close the door. Not a very restful experience, and I don’t think I would stay again which is unfortunate because the room sizes are awesome.

Overall it was ok but compared to other westgate properties I’ve stayed at, it was subpar. For example, the wifi was terrible which made it very frustrating to use for a party of 6 visiting from out of the country. As well, the dishwasher should have been upgraded with the renovations. I also recommend installing hooks both in the from entrance and all the washrooms.

Everything was awesome!….Sue the bartender was awesome!. Atmosphere was great! I did this resort 5 stars but there was one big issue…there was a security guard that was one of the most rude and arrogate security guards I’ve ever came across which did put a big damper on our vacation. I never did get his name but if you see a Native American security guard with a pony tail…look out! Also just a little thing…we wished they had bigger beach towels

2 seniors with 2 children age 11 and 9. Pros:pool, lazy river,splash pad,proximity to the beach, kitchen with the dishes, utensils and pots and pans, large enough that we had our own space. Cons: very noisy with music blasting so loud that we could not talk to each other at our kitchen table, yelling at the pool continued after the music stopped, coin operated washers and dryers are under the stairwell with the coin changer often out of change. This is not an inexpensive resort so don't nickel and dime people who are just trying to pack clean clothes. Check in is 4pm, we arrived at 5pm but our room still wasn't ready. After getting up at 4:30am to catch our flight it was disappointing, no apology offered. At check in you are directed to a desk for a welcome package, a ploy to get you to go to a time share presentation. When we declined, the guy didn't give us the WiFi password saying we could get it once our room was assigned, really just to get another stab at convincing us to attend the presentation. We asked for late check out (noon)as our grandson was attending camp at Kennedy Space Center so we couldn't leave the area - a resounding NO - it is ok for them to keep us waiting but not the other way around. As we could use the amenities we loaded the car went to the pool with our granddaughter to find the pool closed. It didn't open before noon when we left, it was closed all day our first day there.

There are 2 nearby grocery stores which was nice. We didn’t use them but they have gas grills if you wanted to cook on the grill. Enjoyed the hot tub, pool, lazy River and beach. Staff were helpful. We ordered food and drinks from the pool bar which was very good. It would be nice to have housekeeping during our 8 day stay, but we made it work. Couldn’t get Netflix to work on the tv, it was also limited to 3 devices on WiFi at a time which was hard since there were 4 of us. We took the shuttle down to the Cocoa Beach pier which had some stores and we ate at a restaurant overlooking the beach and watched the surfers. We drove into Orlando which wasn’t too far. We had a great time.

We had a two bedroom with two full bathrooms. Full kitchen, freezer with ice maker. All kitchen supplies, soap, dish towel, dishwasher detergent etc....setting for 6, all supplied. Lazy river and pool area are super fun and clean too...Tiki bar is adorable and food menu is simple but fresh and yummy. Building 7, is closest to the beach, but may cost an upgrade charge. It was well worth it, with only a 200 yard walk to get to the waves. Rest of the buildings are at the pool fun. All Staff were attentive and friendly. They provide towels for swimming too. We will return. Only cons are laundry is included but machines are not in the rooms, there are two large laundry rooms for the guests, they give you tokens, detergent. No housekeeping services but they will bring you - refresh any towels or amenities or kitchen supplies you request.

We really enjoyed our stay at westgate. 3 night relaxing on cocoa beach, was great. Lots of stuff in walking distance. Hotel was great! Parking was a little tight, but still possible.

Great location. Staff was wonderful. Property exposed to streets and front building is very noisy all day and night long. Anyone can walk onto property to access room, even though some of the parking (not ours) was semi-secure. Great bar, great people, older infrastructure.

Excellent stay. Condo was a little dark but clean and updated. We had everything we needed. Our room was right by the bar. We thought it would be noisy but not at all. Lazy river was warm and fun. Super easy walk to the beach. Food and drinks were awesome. Highly recommend

Honestly, the place doesnt look like the photos. This was an old motel that has been renovated poorly. The rooms themselves and the splash pad were great(however, the beds are extremely uncomfortable)....but the only food option is the bar where you'll receive extremely overly priced food you cant even stomach. We were made very uncomfortable by several staff members for being part of the LGBTQIA community and accessing anything was very inconvenient. There are no elevators, so you have to get your luggage up 2 flights of stairs if you're on the 2nd level. Highly dont recommend. In no way, shape, or form do I consider this to be a "resort".

The outside pool area was fantastic, activity deck playing music was great! As well as the type of music playing. It varied as just wasn’t all pop, loved the 90’s rock that was in there! The tiki bar was a huge plus as well and Summer the bartender! She shared all kinds of local places to see, eat and made the best drinks. Hats off to her! My only complaint was they ran out of sand necklaces for the kids on the one activity. I guess just being more prepared, both of mine as well as others didn’t get to participate bc of that. Kids have bigger feelings..

We were told that there was a gym. There wasn't. The pool was closed for maintenance. They said that they emailed us - no one in our party received any communication. The food at the Tiki bar was terrible. We ordered nachos and the chips were extremely stale. We were told that beach chairs were included - they weren't. Begrudgingly the front desk allowed us to get 4 chairs for the 10 of us. We were told that there was a free shuttle van to the pier. They shut it down before dinnertime. We think it is because there were not a lot of people at the hotel. They also had listed some activities by the pool area. When we asked about it, the person told us that the activities weren't going to happen since there wasn't a lot of people staying there. So, no water ice for our group. I would NOT recommend staying here.

Our spacious 2 bedroom/ 2 bathroom unit was connected to another room by a locked door, which unfortunately was not very soundproof and we had loud neighbors. It would have possibly been worth the money if the pool was heated but it was very cold and we did not use it. The hot tub was too crowded to get in. The drinks from the bar were good and the bartender was friendly. I did not order any food from the hotel and would have liked to see a more creative menu. The front desk staff were very helpful and pleasant and our room was clean. Around 7:00 in the morning someone banged very loudly on the door as if there was an emergency. I got up and cracked the door (with it still locked on the top latch) and there was a confused maybe 30 year old male wearing a security-looking uniform. Upon asking if I could help him, he replied he thought the room was empty, must be wrong room. Closed the door and re-locked. 20 minutes later the door OPENS and luckily I had the top latch hooked so it only opened about an inch. This time it was cleaners and they did not bother to close the door. Not a very restful experience, and I don’t think I would stay again which is unfortunate because the room sizes are awesome.

There are 2 nearby grocery stores which was nice. We didn’t use them but they have gas grills if you wanted to cook on the grill. Enjoyed the hot tub, pool, lazy River and beach. Staff were helpful. We ordered food and drinks from the pool bar which was very good. It would be nice to have housekeeping during our 8 day stay, but we made it work. Couldn’t get Netflix to work on the tv, it was also limited to 3 devices on WiFi at a time which was hard since there were 4 of us. We took the shuttle down to the Cocoa Beach pier which had some stores and we ate at a restaurant overlooking the beach and watched the surfers. We drove into Orlando which wasn’t too far. We had a great time.

Very nice property - clean - only thing I would recommend is the shower was very slippery and parking and driving thru the parking area could use improvement! Check in clerk was new - could have used better explanation of a few things but cutting her a break she has only been there a week Michael was vey nice also the lady who gave us our welcome package explained things very well

The setup of the hotel is strange, there a different section of the hotel for you to stay, but if you are not familiar with the hotel, you might ask yourself, why you ended up in the from section of the hotel, facing the road, and not the pool area. If you decide to sleep late, this is not the hotel for you, since noises are coming from all over the place, my las 2 mornings, it was 8:30 and there was already workers all over the place being loud, and the noise from the room above it is expected to be there too. The pool is small, but the lazy river and the access to the beach are the positive sides.

Our stay started with an issue with our reservation, and at first it seemed like there may not be any available rooms. However, the staff went above and beyond to help us. They immediately started calling around to try to find accommodations for us, and thankfully a cancellation came through so we were able to stay here. Everyone was incredibly kind, patient, and accommodating throughout the entire process. They even helped us with all of our luggage and made sure we had a lower-floor room, which was greatly appreciated. The staff truly cared about making a stressful situation better, and their kindness did not go unnoticed. The environment here is welcoming, the customer service is exceptional, and I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone traveling in the area. Thank you again to the amazing staff for turning a difficult situation into such a positive experience!
