We enjoyed our time here. Hotel was clean and safe area. The pool was heated though a bit small if everyone in the hotel would want to go in lol. The room was comfortable and had what we needed. Staff was nice. Had no issues. Loved the beach right in back of the hotel.

Thos property should be a Super8, not Hampton. Very uncomfortable and not well maintained. Rooms are very small, sub-standard comparing to average Hampton prroperties. Small pool with limited, poor quality chairs. Access to the beach is not accessible - no ramp for wheelcchairs. In the room: door hard to close, microwave makes weird noise, rust around the drain in the bathtub.

Stay was fine, room was nice & very clean. Very friendly/helpful staff, towels and trash taken care of every other day. Good beach access. Convenient location to walk to plenty of restaurants & easy access to Hwy 98 if you want to drive somewhere. Building looks fine from the road, but viewed from the beach it needs some serious updates. Has the look of an abandoned 1980's Western Sizzler restaurant. I suppose it shouldn't matter as long as the room was OK (and it was), but it really stood out as the ugliest building on the beach. Latch to the patio door needs attention, hard to open & close the door because the handle didn't want to turn. I'm sure it's saltwater related, but regular maintenance would probably fix it. Breakfast was just OK. I hate paying to be allowed to park at a hotel that I'm being charged for, especially if it's in a lot full of potholes. If you're gonna get me for $15/day, at least use that money to maintain the lot.

Good stay. Walk right out to the beach. It's an older building but clean. Good staff. Rooms have been updated. Great location and for the price you get the same location of expensive resorts. $15 a day parking is mandatory.

Excellent. We had an ocean view room (there are only a few). Room had a private balcony. Direct beach access from the hotel (short walk). Front desk waived the parking fee. Staff was outstanding, friendly and offered great tips on places to go. Clean. Great breakfast (and the guy who ran it was very welcoming and attentive). Long walk to our room just because of the way buildings are situated to get beach access. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

if you’re looking for an awesome hotel reasonably priced close to the ocean, I would highly consider recommending this one. The staff is outstanding with being friendly and very knowledgeable about restaurants in the area . we ventured out to lost pizza and rocking tacos after being recommended by brianna at the front desk help. 5 stars to house keeping with the hard work of keeping our room clean. Also props to the hotel for a very clean area to walk to the beach. pool is outside and was cold so we didn’t get to use it unfortunately but our overall stay was nice. beds were comfy and breakfast in morning was great! Also great job for the breakfast attendant making sure food areas were clean and kept up food being served as well as beverages. dining area was very kept clean as well.

Property is seriously outdated. Carpets aren’t clean, the smell in the bedroom was awful. Pool was very dirty as well. The only good thing was location. But other than that it was very expensive for the facilities they are providing. I wouldn’t stay there again.

The plumbing clogged the draining of shower and it smelled bad. Dirt grime and sand were in the tub from it. They had blowers in the hall bc the carpet got wet from the nasty water plumbing spill.

Good price for being right on the beach. I received over 30 bed bug bites on my right arm after falling asleep with my right arm on one of the couch pillows which I had set near my bed. Then we also noticed animal fur on the couch cushion. They said credited us membership points, but the points never got added to our account. These bites itched so bad, that most of the rest of my vacation was affected.

Our beach vacation went well. We stayed in one of the few rooms with the ocean front view. Much smaller hotel in the beach zone with just two floors and really long corridors to walk to elevators. Close to several dining options and the Okaloosa boardwalk and pier. Room also had short access to the beach via stairs exit and door entry through hotel key card.

Stopped over night here on our way to Orlando. The staff was friendly, breakfast had a good selection, and the beds were comfortable. The only down fall was the a/c was within 2 feet of the bed so you go from kicking the covers off to freezing all night.

This was a great hotel right next to the beach. The prices were very reasonable for an off-season stay. Every room had a patio or balcony. There are only a few sea view rooms so that’s something to keep in mind. The hotel is old on the outside, but recently renovated inside. The staff were wonderful and helpful.

This hotel was right on the beach, however, the listing fails to say that it is only a 2-story hotel with no beach view. Despite that disappointment the hotel wasnt bad at all for the price. It was clean and the breakfast area was attended to well. All of the staff were super nice.

Absolutely love the staff, they saved my vacation. Went to stay at Destin Village Inn and it was horrible. Things wrong with the room, roaches everything you don't want. I called the Hampton to see if they were able to do an early check-in after explaining happened at the Inn. They were quick to get me taken care of. The beds were comfortable, room was clean, and the short walk to the beach was amazing. Cant thank then enough for saving what might be the laat vacation ill evee have with my mom to the beach!

I enjoyed the super convenient unique Dune View rooms that opened to the beach walkway. The free breakfast was the best, by far, of any hotel I’ve booked during my travels. My only complaint was with the clerk that handled my checkin. She came off as being quite rushed and off-putting; trying to get us away from the desk instead of giving us the same greeting, welcome letter, and informational instructions we saw being provided by her colleague to another family checking in at the same time. I even asked her to assist with my app because my digital key was not activating. She instructed me to go ahead and just use a physical key and to come back so she could assist me later. When I returned, she did not attempt to help with the key. She only instructed again to use a physical key instead. Overall the stay was awesome! It is going on my list of fave spots to stay. I’ll simply attempt to seek assistance from someone other than the clerk who checked me in last time if she happens to still be there.

When we first arrived to our room, our toilet didn’t work, TV didn’t works. And after being at the hotel for 24 hours, we were checked out of our room. After 2-4 days we were checked out daily! Had to keep going back to the front desk for our keys to be reactivated. Our room was dirty upon arrival. The people before us in our room had put popcorn the chairs and in the bed. Maintenance gentleman came and fixed our toilet and TV after the first night. Also had someone smoking weed our 2nd night at the hotel right next to our room!

Nice hotel. Walking distance to a few restaurants and a convenience store. Walking distance to the beach! Very nice staff. Breakfast was decent, like a normal hotel hot breakfast. Hotel is a little older, but has been updated. Would stay again for sure.

Besides sticking us in a handicapped room (not selected by me), being next to the fire station that run several runs every night after midnight, the large amount of cars racing without mufflers in front of the hotel, and the room next to us fighting and cursing at each other from 3am-5am, we had a pretty good stay.

Internet easy and fast in the room. Minor maintenance things could be fixed but the facility was clean. Room was clean. Breakfast area is clean. The breakfast food for it being complimentary food it was good. The beach was quick easy walk. Chairs to rent at the beach. If you don’t mind walking great area. Also really easy to get an uber. Fubar down the road walking distance FANTASTIC food. Beds comfortable. The staff so amazing. Staff was nice and friendly. Talking to them they know all the great places to go. Parking easy even with a U-Haul trailer. Price for facility and location definitely worth it. Pool is clean as well.

I enjoyed walking to the beach from the hotel and the breakfast was ample and clean. There’s construction in the area which was more of an eye sore than anything, but other than that, I enjoyed my stay.

Stay was fine, room was nice & very clean. Very friendly/helpful staff, towels and trash taken care of every other day. Good beach access. Convenient location to walk to plenty of restaurants & easy access to Hwy 98 if you want to drive somewhere. Building looks fine from the road, but viewed from the beach it needs some serious updates. Has the look of an abandoned 1980's Western Sizzler restaurant. I suppose it shouldn't matter as long as the room was OK (and it was), but it really stood out as the ugliest building on the beach. Latch to the patio door needs attention, hard to open & close the door because the handle didn't want to turn. I'm sure it's saltwater related, but regular maintenance would probably fix it. Breakfast was just OK. I hate paying to be allowed to park at a hotel that I'm being charged for, especially if it's in a lot full of potholes. If you're gonna get me for $15/day, at least use that money to maintain the lot.

It was a wonderful stay. The only glitch was that we booked a room with a view of the beach and instead got a view of another hotel (that was probably on the beach.) But other than that, it was a fabulous stay. Breakfast was excellent--I especially enjoyed the coffee. The workers were helpful and friendly. Everything was clean and quiet.

We really enjoyed our weekend stay, especially the location. Having the beach right there was absolutely wonderful! It was so convenient not having to carry all of our beach chairs, bags, and other things a long distance or drive somewhere else to enjoy the beach. I also want to recognize some of the staff. The lady who helped with breakfast was absolutely wonderful—very kind, friendly, and helpful. The housekeeping staff was also very nice, and the food at the restaurant was excellent, definitely 10/10! Unfortunately, our experience at check-in was not as pleasant. I accidentally booked an accessible room, and when we arrived, the room had a very unpleasant smell and looked quite outdated. I went to the front desk and tried to explain the situation and ask for a different room. English is not my first language, so I may not have explained myself perfectly, but the receptionist simply changed the room and handed us the new keys without being very friendly or welcoming. I appreciated that he changed the room, but I believe hospitality and kindness are especially important when working with guests. Thankfully, the other front desk staff members we encountered during the rest of our stay were much friendlier and more welcoming. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The beachfront location is a huge plus, the restaurant food was excellent, and several members of the staff were wonderful. I do think the hotel could benefit from some updating and renovations, and I hope management continue

The hotel is in a great location and my pups loved the balcony in the room. It is an older Hampton but maintained ok. The bathrooms weren't as clean as other Hamptons. Overall the stay was good.
