Property was centrally located which was a plus. There is no on-site parking and one spot that is supposed to be for loading and unloading only, though it seemed to be constantly taken. We had to take a couple trips to where we parked to unload, just keep that in mind when visiting. Overall we had a great stay!

This was absolutely the most amazing hotel I have ever stayed in. Our room was secluded and clean. The hotel garden area was stunning and teeming with life. I so appreciated the cold, purified water dispenser out in the garden, probably my favorite amenity. Our room also had a hammock on the balcony. This was the perfect place to spend our honeymoon.

Great experience. Hotel is in an ideal location. Easy to walk to so much! Food, convenience store, bakery, Italian restaurant, the marina, coffee shops etc. The garden is lush. The koi pond is such a lovely tropical touch. There is a great patio area with shade and beautiful plants. We checked in late, after the desk closed, and it was still seamless. Housekeeping services were timely and attentive. I loved our suite. It was on the third floor (no elevator). The private patio was so nice to enjoy our morning coffee on. Good seating. The AC in our suite worked great, but was pretty loud. Fans in the bedroom was really nice. Overall great stay. Would recommend. Would stay again

A beautiful property with lush gardens and a nice quiet pool area. Beautiful pathways through tropical foliage. Bike rentals on property. Super convenient to the marina and to Mallory Square and Duvall Street. My interactions with the staff were all very favorable. This is our new go to place when we visit Key West.

Great location, nice lush garden and spacious swimming pool. However, the basics of hospitality services - the cleanness of the room was below expectations. We booked for three people and the sofa bed still had used sheets from previous visit. We found an old box of takeaway food next on the side table, there were only two towels for three people prepared. It left not a good impression.

This hotel is the most enchanting and beautiful property we have ever stayed at. It’s so serene and peaceful! The staff was pleasant and lovely as well as the cleanliness of the room was impeccable. I highly recommend this hotel! :)

The location was excellent, safe with easy walking to many sights and restaurants. Our unit (Arch House number 1) was on a busy street so noisy. The place was very clean but had a musty, moldy smell and only the bathroom window opened so it was hard to fix. The two queen bedrooms were small but beds were comfy. No hooks for coats. Couch was so dirty we didn’t want to sit on it. Not comfortable to sleep on. Bathroom was tiny but functional. Staff was so friendly and professional. Pool was warm and amazing.

We stayed 5 nights and had a wonderful time. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this property. The grounds were beautiful. The room had such Key West charm and the porch was where we spent most of our free time. The room was cleaned daily and bottles of water and granola bars were left for us each day. It’s those nice little touches that put it over the top. Easy to rent bikes on site. Perfect location. Highly recommend. My only recommendation is a step stool to get up in the main bed as it was a bit high to climb up on.

We are extremely upset because this hotel was not cheap at all and no notice was given about loud construction right next to our room. It wasn’t expressed anywhere and was not told upon check in. Plus they gave us the room right next to it. Construction starts very early in the morning so we never got to sleep properly on our vacation and to add, the cleaning crew was very loud even earlier. The front desk said they are not allowed to start before 8:30 but we heard lots of banging around at 6am not exaggerating at all and then promptly at 8am was vacuuming and then leaf blower for 30 min straight. Everyone woke up. So no one got sleep and we couldn’t even enjoy the hammock and porch because the construction was so loud. For over $500 we are very upset and will now be warning anyone we know. The front lady said she would refund me but couldn’t since I booked with Expedia. What a vacation

We stayed in the Cigar House and really enjoyed the hammocks and being pool-front. The space was large enough for our family of four - the fold-out couch was comfortable for the kids. The property overall was charming and the location was great - a short walk to both Duval St and the harbor but far enough away to be quiet at night.

We had an apartment in the oldest part of the building. Directly facing Eaton Street. Very noisy at times. The furniture is getting on in years. It smells old in the rooms. The bathroom is very small. The garden and pool are very nice. The whole complex has flair. The staff are all very friendly.

Check-in was seamless, he gave us two $5 discounts to a wonderful bakery/coffee shop nearby, and he walked us around the property to show us where everything is. The location is very convenient to lots of Key West sites, so we walked most everywhere. LOVED the hammock on the balcony overlooking the gardens. Just exactly what we needed for a rejuvenating, relaxing getaway.

The bedrooms were very small with little dresser space. We stayed in the Arch House and were woken up early every day by the landscaping crew. We have stayed here a few times before but this is the first time we have had these problems. Please consider rearranging the bedrooms so there can be more space to move around.

The lovely agent from Poland who did my check-in was exceptional. Room was spacious and very clean. Lots of snacks, coffee pods etc. included. I had a problem with coffee maker on the first morning. it was quickly resolved.

We stay at Island City House every March with my whole family and this year we got w great deal for September so we could not miss the chance to come back for a visit. The staff is beyond outstanding and always so professional and accommodating. We normally request the same room on the first floor and it was unavailable for this visit so we were on the 2nd floor which was just as nice. We love the neighborhood because everything is in walking distance yet we don't have the noise of the busier areas. Island City house had made some lovely improvements in the pool and garden area and everything is so well taken care of. We highly recommend Island City House and in the 7 years we have been going there with our family, we have never been disappointed.

We stay at Island City House every March with my whole family and this year we got w great deal for September so we could not miss the chance to come back for a visit. The staff were all very friendly and very helpful. They took care of us immediately when we had an incident in our room. Despite the oppressive heat, the accommodations were excellently cool and comfortable. Rooms could use a little more lighting...bedroom & living room both had 1 small lamp. Lights in the ceiling fans would be a good improvement. The pool, gardens and water dispenser were a welcome respite. So was Bert the cat...as we were missing our cat back at home. We definitely recommend Island City House and would stay there again if we ever return to Key West.

This hotel was amazing. We had a slight check in snafu that was dealt with quickly, and the woman at the front desk was incredibly gracious and helpful the whole time we were there. We loved the ambiance of the hotel and our awesome suite felt like a Victorian apartment. Housekeeping was wonderful too. Great pool surrounded by lush garden, rental bikes, private porch for sitting. The amenities and grounds were incredible. Everything in Key West is expensive so we thought this was a great value compared to other rentals/hotels available. Walkable, safe area close to everything, and close to a (paid) parking lot that was easy for us to leave our rental car and not worry about it. We would come back here in a heartbeat.

We loved the ambiance of the hotel and our awesome suite felt like a Victorian apartment. Housekeeping was wonderful too. Great pool surrounded by lush garden, rental bikes, private porch for sitting. The amenities and grounds were incredible. Everything in Key West is expensive so we thought this was a great value compared to other rentals/hotels available. Walkable, safe area close to everything, and close to a (paid) parking lot that was easy for us to leave our rental car and not worry about it. We would come back here in a heartbeat.

Great experience. Hotel is in an ideal location. Easy to walk to so much! Food, convenience store, bakery, Italian restaurant, the marina, coffee shops etc. The garden is lush. The koi pond is such a lovely tropical touch. There is a great patio area with shade and beautiful plants. We checked in late, after the desk closed, and it was still seamless. Housekeeping services were timely and attentive. I loved our suite. It was on the third floor (no elevator). The private patio was so nice to enjoy our morning coffee on. Good seating. The AC in our suite worked great, but was pretty loud. Fans in the bedroom was really nice. Overall great stay. Would recommend. Would stay again

The desk staff were very courteous, polite and helpful. Housekeeping did an excellent job of taking care of our room daily. Bicycle rental for the week was convenient and easy to do through our hotel and the bikes were only a few steps away from our door, waiting on us daily. The pool was very nice, clean, and conveniently only a couple steps away from our room! The courtyard was beautiful and peaceful. Would definitely recommend Island City House to anyone, and will stay there again myself when visiting Key West!

We had an apartment in the oldest part of the building. Directly facing Eaton Street. Very noisy at times. The furniture is getting on in years. It smells old in the rooms. The bathroom is very small. The garden and pool are very nice. The whole complex has flair. The staff are all very friendly.

Overall a nice stay. Good pool area that is covered by large trees. Center area has wonderful greenery and landscaping making it pleseant. The balcony doors were unlocked when we checked in and only caught it after we had left which meant someone could have entered even though we locked the front door. Parking was a 10 min walk away for $12/day or so which was much cheaper than the $40/day in the same garage. I would recommend this place. Great location/walking distance to Duval and the harbor.

The location was excellent, safe with easy walking to many sights and restaurants. Our unit (Arch House number 1) was on a busy street so noisy. The place was very clean but had a musty, moldy smell and only the bathroom window opened so it was hard to fix. The two queen bedrooms were small but beds were comfy. No hooks for coats. We loved our time at this property. It’s beautiful with lush gardens and common areas, and the location is perfect. It’s less than a 10 minute walk to Duval Street, and it’s quiet and secluded. We used the pool every day of our stay. Definitely check out the bakery they give you coupons for. It’s great! We will definitely try to return here on future trips to Key West.

We had a great stay at the Island City House Hotel! Check in was a breeze and the coupons to the bakery down the street were great especially as my boyfriend was obsessed with their breakfast sandwiches. It was a spacious room with a large balcony and porch swing. Great location as well, super close to everything we did!

It was very charming. Staff was nice and room was clean and nicely decorated. The parking is on the street and very limited. Once you park and get into your room there is a ton of walkable places to go. Very fun!

Only downside to this property is no restaurant or bar or access to any food. Rooms have full kitchens but it’s a hike to get any beverages or food. Next time I will know to stock an extra suitcase with drinks and snacks to enjoy while on property.

Beautiful property with lovely garden courtyard and close to everything. Nice sized suite with comfortable bed and handy kitchenette. On-site bike rental. Old Town Bakery and Eaton Street Seafood steps away were wonderful. We really enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful trip. Great hotel but not for those who have issues with stairs unless they ask for one of the first floor rooms or bungalows. Would stay there again. Wish they served food though.

Absolutely stellar property - gorgeous in all respects. Our rooms, the spacious private porch, the grounds, pool, everything. Beds were comfy, staff was helpful, and we all enjoyed Bert's visits to our porch as well. As a former Key West resident, I loved the Old Town location and atmosphere of the Island City House Hotel. The staff were also friendly and helpful. We have every intention of staying here again in the future!
