This is a cozy, friendly, low-key "village" with super courteous and amicable staff. Large, sparkling swimming pool right outside the door with lounge chairs, floats, and large fluffy towels. We are certainly returning.

I stay in hotels from sugarloaf to key west every week due to the nature of my work, the Alexander has been the best property we have stayed in. From the start the calm professional service of the staff, the room has absolutely everything you could potentially need, the mini kitchen area had coffee sugar and creamer (YES! Ive Stayed in hotels where there is a coffee machine and absolutely no supplies..) even a wine opener, they thought of everything, enjoying the morning coffee out on the patio was a big perk. The bed was SUPER comfortable.The room and bathroom are fully renovated and tastefully decorated. All the furniture was comfortable and convenient. Also spotless, super clean bathroom specially. The pool is a lil oasis! Plenty of sitting all around, a library, pool/beach towels, plenty of sitting around the patio area, so thoughtful to the beautiful wood ashtrays on the outside tables. Its centrally located, and within walking distance to all the best Key West has to offer. Overall I HATE to put this out there because Im sure is a hidden gem, but they truly deserve all the hospitality points available. See you all soon!

Loved staying here! I wish I knew about this on our previous trips to Key West. Walkable to Duval, has free parking and a nice swimming pool. Our room was great, we felt comfortable here. Steven and Pam were very kind and pleasant. All the other guests were very friendly too.

This is an older vintage motel, but is clean and comfortable. It is walking distance to restaurants and the attractions along Duval Street, but not near the noise and traffic. If you are looking for a resort-type place with lots of amenities, then it is not for you. But if you want a small place with a nice pool and a lot of charm, you will not be disappointed. I would definitely stay there again,

Stayed here only for a night, but could have easily stayed here for 2 or 3 as Key West wasn't our main destination in Florida. After spending some time in Miami Beach, our biggest concern when booking Key West pretty much last minute (2-3 days ahead) was if parking would be the same in Key West as in Miami Beach, like $20-30 per day in Miami Beach. This place has 6 tight parking spots up front on the property, but also has street parking nearby. Tried to get there early to get a spot, and with traffic we only made it at 4PM on Friday, but there were still 3 spots up front! We preferred to not get dinged in the tight spot so I parked on the street very easily! Only 20 feet from hotel. This is an older place and not a luxury place by any means, but it's quality for what it is. Has a great location and low key. Only about 5 minutes from the Southernmost Point. Also near restaurants and Duval Street. Only 15 minute walk to Higgs Beach and the Edward Knight Pier, but parking is free on the street across the pier.

This is an old school retro hotel. It's eclectic, so don't expect fancy. It has a great pool in the courtyard. Our room was small but clean, however the bathroom was pretty tiny. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Be aware parking spaces are limited. It is a short walking distance to Duvall and the south most point.

We had a lovely stay! It was a calm evening at the hotel and so we were lucky to have an upgraded room. The service was excellent, the location was idal and the hotel was absolutely charming. That courtyard with the pool was the highlight! Thank you for the quick, but wonderful stay :)

Great Experience in Key West This hotel was such a pleasant surprise! The location is perfect — close to everything within walking distance. The pool is very relaxing, ideal after a day exploring the island. The staff at check-in were super friendly and made us feel very welcome. I definitely recommend this hotel and will stay here again on my next visit to Key West.

This is a great place to stay. The room and bed were clean. They allowed us to use beach towels not only for the pool, but for personal use at the beaches. They also had ice maker/water dispenser for our convenience. The shower head sits low, so if you are tall that might be an issue. Overall a wonderful stay!

Very cute place. We had a queen suite & there was plenty of space. My kid slept on the futon and he found it very comfortable. Pool was clean although we were only there for one night and had no time to go swimming. My only complaint is the sugar ants in the kitchen and bathroom. I know they are hard to get rid of, but I could not put any food on the kitchen counter. Kept it on the dinning table.

Our room was beyond updating…hole in walls, bathroom nasty, and beds worn out and extremely uncomfortable and squeaky. The ac was so loud and obnoxious. You could hear the guests in the adjoining room. Location ok but the manager Steven was excellent.

It appeared to be a lovely quaint cottage and was nicely equipped. But someone as a joke urinated into the air conditioner filter, and during the entire stay the 4 of us felt like vomiting because of the horrible smell. Also the floor was not cleaned and sticky throughout. The staff was very friendly but a very strong stench of Urine and the place not being cleaned all for the exorbitant price of almost $400 was a ripoff.

The location was very walkable to everything within the historic district. Although we didn’t use it, the pool area looked cozy. The bathroom has been remodeled and although it is small, it was very functional and attractive; however, the room itself could use some updating and sound proofing as you could hear everything the people in the next room said/did.

Its centrally located, and within walking distance to all the best Key West has to offer. Overall I HATE to put this out there because Im sure is a hidden gem, but they truly deserve all the hospitality points available. See you all soon!

The beds are way to small. I think the beds are a double so my husband and I would hit each other at night trying to roll over. The furniture needs to be replaced with newer items. Very little parking. The food store is not close. However, we did enjoy our stay. Very nice pool and lounge chairs.

Very cute place. We had a queen suite & there was plenty of space. My kid slept on the futon and he found it very comfortable. Pool was clean although we were only there for one night and had no time to go swimming. My only complaint is the sugar ants in the kitchen and bathroom. I know they are hard to get rid of, but I could not put any food on the kitchen counter. Kept it on the dinning table.

We loved the vibe of the place, it has a vintage vibe to it and felt like we were in a village resort in the Caribbean. Steven was hands down the best hotel manager we have ever encountered. Our only complaint was the mattress on the bed, it was probably the most uncomfortable we have personally slept on. After a day of strenuous water activity it was very difficult to get a relaxing sleep. If the mattresses were better this resort would have my highest remarks.

Steven was an absolute gem! When we checked out of the hotel, we asked Steven if it would be ok to leave our car at the hotel while we wandered around for a bit. Without hesitation he agreed. When we came back a couple of hours later, there was a sign next to my car saying that id forgotten my phone in the room. Thank you, thank you, thank you Steven! You just dont find people that go the extra mile anymore! Would absolutely stay here again!!

Loved staying here! I wish I knew about this on our previous trips to Key West. Walkable to Duval, has free parking and a nice swimming pool. Our room was great, we felt comfortable here. Steven and Pam were very kind and pleasant. All the other guests were very friendly too.

We chose the Alexander Palms Court based on great reviews and for being cost-friendly. It exceeded our expectations! Upon check-in, we were immediately upgraded to a room with a kitchenette and provided with a map for easy navigating the area. The room was spacious, immaculate, and blessedly cool, with nice amme ities like complementary ice water, pool towels, and bath products! The property itself is cozy with a beautiful pool and landscaping, and feels private. It also has some onsite parking - a rarity for the area. Overall we had a great time and would definitely come again!

Communication with the property was great and fast, directions and details clearly provided, staff very attentive and supportive. Renovated apartments, really good shower. Stayed here only for a night, but could have easily stayed here for 2 or 3 as Key West wasn't our main destination in Florida. After spending some time in Miami Beach, our biggest concern when booking Key West pretty much last minute (2-3 days ahead) was if parking would be the same in Key West as in Miami Beach, like $20-30 per day in Miami Beach. This place has 6 tight parking spots up front on the property, but also has street parking nearby. Tried to get there early to get a spot, and with traffic we only made it at 4PM on Friday, but there were still 3 spots up front! We preferred to not get dinged in the tight spot so I parked on the street very easily! Only 20 feet from hotel. This is an older place and not a luxury place by any means, but it's quality for what it is. Has a great location and low key. Only about 5 minutes from the Southernmost Point. Also near restaurants and Duval Street. Only 15 minute walk to Higgs Beach and the Edward Knight Pier, but parking is free on the street across the pier.

This is an old school retro hotel. It's eclectic, so don't expect fancy. It has a great pool in the courtyard. Our room was small but clean, however the bathroom was pretty tiny. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Be aware parking spaces are limited. It is a short walking distance to Duvall and the south most point.

Great Experience in Key West This hotel was such a pleasant surprise! The location is perfect — close to everything within walking distance. The pool is very relaxing, ideal after a day exploring the island. The staff at check-in were super friendly and made us feel very welcome. One of our neighbors seemed to think it was ok to walk around topless and my guy and I and the other guests felt pretty uncomfortable. They make a note to tell you not to play music(we did with everyone’s permission) but no one told the woman she needed to cover up. There were minors staying on property as well. Besides that. Great location on the southern most side and only 3 blocks from Duval. Ac is a window unit with remote, room stayed at 71.

I wish that the actual facilities were as nice as the staff. I can’t say enough good things about the lady at the front desk. She made my stay worth it. The pool was also nice and clean. The outdoor area was nice and tropical. The location was perfect. Our room though, was definitely old school Florida, including the plumbing and sugar ants. I’m not sure the last time the dishes were washed, the hidden areas were dusted, or the floors cleaned. None of the doors closed due to settling of the foundation. And I’m not sure that it’s ever been updated, even after being hit my the almost yearly hurricanes. I was thankful for the reservation, but won’t be back.
