Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean although there was an AC leak and the carpet was damp. We alerted the front desk. Complimentary breakfast was nice. There was a $10/day parking charge.

Nice big room. Comfortable bed and sitting area. Room is ready for update, but is priced accordingly. What breakfast that was available was good, odd not to have eggs and small serving-dishes for the number of guests. Conveniently located to downtown. Only BIG negative is the bathroom needs updating—an adult toilet would be nice and an upgraded shower head would be awesome. We did not frequent the bar, but it appears less than inviting especially given the mandatory 18% gratuity. In my opinion that is not convenient and limits what a good server would receive by offending customers.

Mixed review.. Positives, location and decent morning breakfast. Negatives, lots of construction mess and noise. Only one elevator available due to construction and the front entrace was blocked off for days. This meant you had to come in thru a side entrance. Management expressed little to no concern when I informed her that the bath towels are placed on an ulgly, severly rusted towel rack still in a newly renovated room #519. Who wants to use a bath towel after its been sitting on rusted metal? I should her pictures of the bathroom towel rack. She simply said that the bathroom was not part of the renovation. Defeclting responsibilities was not a good answer to a paying customer if you expect them to return and recommended the property to others.

The room was 'ok' only. The shower curtain rod was like it was going to break. The bath door seemed to have damage around handle as if someone had tried to break it off and completely dented the door around it. The hallway wallpaper was bubbled in a few places as if water leaks behind it. Only one elevator was running which took too long to get to or from room.

Property was under construction for remodeling. Our room had loose tiles in the bathroom, the access to the pool was blocked and we had to walk through the parking lot with kids, one staff person at front desk who was also busy bartending! Understaffed, under construction, and over priced.

elevator stopped working first night. Nothing offered. Rooms are old and bathroom could use updating. annoying that the bathroom isn't a private/corned off space (especially since there is a lot of wasted space in the room). Breakfast space is way too small for the amount of guests the hotel holds. Every morning was an unpleasant experience trying to get through the gauntlet. Signage around the hotel is wrong. Example: sign by the elevator on the first floor points to where vending/ice is. There is none on the entire floor. I was with a group that was supposed to get free parking, and that was not honored.

Service was excellent. Beds very comfy! Loved the layout of the room, very spacious. The only downside was the cleanliness. Cleanliness Inside the room was good, but the halls and elevator were not so good. Floors were pretty dirty. And I found a hair in the cream cheese at breakfast. That certainly didnt please me!

Property initially is nice looking. It’s downtown so not a bad area. Got into the room and it was moldy, carpet filthy, room smelled of mildew, no housekeeping, toilet was acting up and they just gave me a plunger. The lobby was nice. That’s all I can say about that property. Oh and the elevator needs to be serviced asap! It shakes and rocks. What a nightmare.

Room smelled awful upon arrival. I thought maybe someone had used the restroom and didn’t flush. Upon searching for the smell I found the sink dirty with hair and toothpaste spit. I was unable to locate the smell until I went to bed and stepped into standing water. I found that the entire floor was soaked from the window outward 3 to 4 feet. I let the front desk know and they blew it off saying "yeah it's probably from the AC." Woke up with nasal and chest congestion... I definitely feel like it was a health risk staying in this room.

The hotel outside and inside is very clean and the checkin staff was outstanding, she explained everything, was super helpful and even had my room ready earlier than check in time. My room was perfect, king size bed with very large sofa separate area with a mini kitchen area . The a/c worked perfect ,bed was comfortable and room was quiet. I would stay here again and was very happy with everything about this hotel.

We had a King room and it was very-cleverly "partitioned" to make it feel like a whole suite - even though it was "just a room". Very friendly, capable staff. Nicely-stocked snack kiosk. Overall a clean, safe, happy feel.

The bathroom floor had a huge ball of hair. One of the tiles in bathroom was severely damaged and if you stepped on it, you would damage it more. Show photos to a nice reception and she apologized for the uncomfortable position. Breakfast was just okay, eggs cold and just not managed well enough, when you have individuals waiting around for plus minutes to accommodate everyone. Too much socialization among employees. No one should be given a room near the ice machines, without being forewarned that if you are a light sleeper, you will be frequently disturbed by the noise. I checked in late so couldn’t change my room the first night….and had to endure a constantly disturbed night. Poor management and will request a refund for one of my nights.

The bathroom is so tiny there isn’t room to close the door without climbing between the toilet and the shower. The shower floor was beyond slippery. I have stayed in $80 a night hotels that I would choose over this at $178

The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was large, modern and clean with a separate sitting area and small kitchenette. However, the bed was as hard as a rock and I woke up sore--time to upgrade those mattresses. A fire alarm went off late in the evening and was promptly shut off without any explanation or direction to guests. Unclear as to whether or not it was a prank or a reason to evacuate--need to follow up with guests on such serious issues.

Bad: 1- Next to train track so don’t expect to sleep well. This train route rumbled, ran throughout the night, screeched, and BLOWING HORN. No sound proof windows! 2- Plenty of parking yet no free parking. $10/night but still Not cool. 3- Bedside electric outlets don’t work. 4- Very slow elevators that rumbled. Felt like it’s on the last leg. Good: 1- Breakfast included. Fresh waffle maker, fruits, toasts, cereals, sausages, but powdered eggs. 2- Very roomy, good bed, good lighting.

The room was very nice and big. Liked the extra room with the couch and mini bar area. Shower was nice. Location was centrally located in town. Qualms: very thin pillows, $10 a night for parking, and no turndown service if only staying for two nights.

Got a single king room that was actually a mini suite. Separate seating and bar area with a couch that pulls out to, I believe, a queen bed. Hot water with a rain shower head bed extremely comfortable. The negative was it was close to an exit door and was a bit noisy at 1st. Would definitely stay there again!

We arrived at the property at 1:30am and there was nobody on the property. I called the reception 5 times while in the lobby hoping an employee could hear the phone. Nobody came to pick up the phone. We went all around the property looking for an employee and nobody was there. Finally someone came 45 minutes later. He was extremely rude and very childish in his behavior, calling us “Nihao” because we are asian looking. We are Cambodian, not Chinese. He told us we did not have a reservation when we had one. He told us the hotel was full and did not want to give us our keys when we had already check in online and my name was assigned to a room already. He should have apologize to have us waiting 45 minutes in the lobby. Instead, he lost his control and professionalism and called us rude and impolite.

What a pleasant surprise! When I realized the hotel was undergoing renovations, I was concerned. From the check in with Patricia until we checked out, every effort was made to minimize disruption to guests.,Patricia was amazing. Her professionalism and humor won us over initially. But we were blown away the next day when the same Patricia recognized us and asked how the wedding was! She had listened—and remembered. Outstanding customer service!

Spent the night with my husband son and our dog. The staff was extremely friendly. We have stayed at this location many times over the past several years, it is always a consistant hotel, good condition fair price and offers a good breakfast.

Only one elevator was working so we had long wait times to reach our room. When I first arrived to check in, no one was at the front desk. We waited a few minutes and then came back a few hours later to check in.

We frequent this hotel when in town for FSC. Great location for walking to downtown. Our student likes to stay with us here when we're visiting instead of the dorms :) During our latest stay, one of the elevators was out of commission, but they comped with free parking. We usually park just across the bridge anyhow to save on the parking.

I always try to stay at the Hyatt Place at Lakeland Center when I'm visiting my business in the area. It's close to my business, it close to Downtown Lakeland where the best restaurants are. It's right next door to the Expo Center if you are attending an event there. The staff is always great.

Bad: 1- Next to train track so don’t expect to sleep well. This train route rumbled, ran throughout the night, screeched, and BLOWING HORN. No sound proof windows! 2- Plenty of parking yet no free parking. $10/night but still Not cool. 3- Bedside electric outlets don’t work. 4- Very slow elevators that rumbled. Felt like it’s on the last leg. Good: 1- Breakfast included. Fresh waffle maker, fruits, toasts, cereals, sausages, but powdered eggs. 2- Very roomy, good bed, good lighting.

The room had chipping paint all over the ceiling of the bathroom. The couch had stains. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was by far the worst I’ve experienced while traveling. Bad food and horrible service. The ladies in charge of stocking were talking in the back and not doing their job. They acted out out to help.

The pans that the eggs, Canadian bacon and hash browns were in were too heavy. It was hard to lift the lids off of the pans. They were also too hot to the touch. The yogurt looked good but the berry compote looked gross. If you’re going to do a yogurt/fruit bar then put out good looking fruit. Basically, more money needs to go to the breakfast bar to increase the quality of the food overall.

I was at the hotel for a dental conference for three days. Warm welcoming and helpful staff. Breakfast was fresh, tasty and plentiful. Room was clean and the whole hotel was very easy to be in.

The breakfast was fantastic. I do wish it would’ve been open at 6 o’clock for early Travelers very good selection very clean and organized. My room was quiet and nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable.

The hotel itself was fine. It’s not right in town, kind of on the outskirts yet still close enough to make a short drive to pretty much anything. The biggest issue we had was loud neighbors. They played music until about 10pm which we were ok with but then they started it again at 4am!! I didn’t want to be that person and I’m sure we could hear it worse because of the adjoining door, but at 430am we finally decided to call the front desk. They came up and had to knock on the door a couple of times for them to finally answer and they turned the music off. Other than that, the room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. We did appreciate them taking care of the music issue quickly.

Everything exceeded our expectations, including the breakfast. I was particularly impressed by how pleasant the hallways smelled throughout our stay. The surrounding area was lovely as well. We walked downtown to the farmers market on Florida Avenue, which was a highlight of our trip. Being within walking distance of the hotel, along with the many nearby restaurants, made it especially convenient, and we felt safe throughout the neighborhood. I also appreciated the option to check out online, which allowed us to skip the line. The hotel has quickly become our go-to choice in the area. The only drawback was the price, but the experience was well worth it.

The lobby was clean and check-in was fast and easy. Added bonus; the warm cookies and the refreshing water was a plus. The room was nice, spacious, clean and it had a pleasant scent. The bed was very comfortable and so were the pillows. My only complaint was the ac unit was noticeable loud when it kicked on and the breakfast buffet was not to my liking. The grits were too soupy, the eggs were covered in chives and the French toast sticks were overcooked and too hard to enjoy. Other items such as toast, cereal and donuts were also an option. Overall..I would stay again.
