Marco Island Lakeside Inn

It was great. All redo in 2022. Everything nice and neat. Only thing missing was an elevator. we were on the second floor. Other than, that it was perfect.

Some of the neighbors homes were being renovated while at this location. When my husband and I went to the pool. They stopped hammering and did quite things for an hour. When we left we noticed they went back to working on the loud things. The property is quite, clean, and staff was over the top in accommodating us with every need. Oh, and free laundry!!

The room was comfortable and clean. The pool deck needed resurfaced. The paint was peeling and was falling in the pool. But overall clean.

Enjoyed central location on Marco Island. Also enjoyed the screened in porch, full kitchen, and access to on site laundry.

Pool could have used cleaning. Other than that, everything was great!

This Inn needs a fairly major overhaul. Especially outside. The pictures you see online are not what you will see when you get there. Now our room had been recently renovated which was great but when in Florida you want great amenities too such as the pool area and the area around the property. It’s in a strange area, right in the middle of a not so great residential area at least on one side. Had it not been spring break week and the fact we had already carried all of our stuff upstairs. There is no elevator. I would have asked for our money back and went elsewhere.

Over other place was excellent. My only concern was the pool looked a little “cloudy”. I probably would have used if my stay was longer but it was only one night this time. Will go back when I’m back in that area.

Clean, decent size room with full kitchen. Bed was uncomfortable and AC unit was LOUD but it was just fine for a one-night stay. Desk staff was excellent, plenty of parking. I would say it was a bit overpriced for location and amenities.

Nice large apartment style accommodation. We had a two bedroom, 2 bathroom suite. It is in a bit of a working class residential area. Definitely felt safe. Nice and quiet. Backs a lake. Large patio to enjoy. Pool is older, unheated, but seemed fine/clean otherwise. Front desk staff was friendly. Lots of parking. Great value for the price, especially compared to other options on Marco Island.

Lots of ants. They put me in a room which I booked for two days right above the construction they were doing right below. Very loud.

I made a recording of the noise. It was so loud with young children in the property adjacent to us. Mice dropping on the floor. Mold on shower. Our front window was blocked by a wall. Room was dark even with lights on. We were in room 212. The hotel was not properly rated. I’m dismay the misrepresentations. Only bright spot was a nice lady at check in.

The area is sketchy. Our room had ants all over. We went to dinner and came back to ants all over the counter and in the plastic container with scones in it.. My coffee cup had ants crawling in it. There were ants by the door and outside the door on the concrete. The hotel is right by a water body with alligators. They have a sign close to the pool area that reads dont feed the alligators. Dont get fooled by the excellent ratings like I did.

Room was clean but smelled. Drawers off the track. Walls very thin, heard the guy in the next room snoring. The outside overall was run down. Definitely not worth what we paid!

Clean, spacious and reasonably priced. Location was easy to get to beach and restaurants. Definitely would stay there again.

We were pleasantly surprised to find that our room exceeded our expectations at this lovely, off-the-beaten-path hotel. Not luxurious, but very cozy room had a new, full kitchen and bathroom, separate bedroom with a screened terrace overlooking a lake, 2 TVs, and a very comfortable bed. A nice start to our 1st trip to Marco Island!

Nice, clean, efficient room. Lovely view of pond out back. Away from hustle and bustle. Only 12 min. drive to Goodland Boat Park. No elevator. Shower had very weak water pressure and NOwhere to put soap, shampoo, etc. A/C unit large, loud and right outside bedroom on balcony.

We have stayed here once before & loved it! Our rooms were a one bedroom, bath, living area with small kitchen & table area. It would be great for staying multiple days. This time we had a screened lanai overlooking the little lake which was beautiful listening to the birds & seeing the sun come up.The rooms have been nicely updated, very comfortable and the price was more reasonable than the name brand hotels. We will definitely come back to this hidden gem!

Loved the fullly furnished apartment with balcony. Clean and quiet. Very pretty lake view. Very convenient and reasonable $ compared to other hotel options on Marco. My second choice would have been in Naples area, quite a bit further away from my relatives I was visiting. The A/C unit was powerful but noisy, but sleep still came easily for us. This was our second year in a row staying there. We will certainly return. They have a nice pool that we did not use, but could have. They even supply beach towels to use during your stay.

Best for a couple 2 people max as the sofa bed was old sagging and uncomfortable.

Nice little place to spend the night. Very low water pressure in the bathroom sink and water wouldn’t get warm. Very clean place.

We booked this property based on the generally favorable reviews we read on Hotels.com, but to our surprise, it was far below our expectations. We typically don’t mind basic accommodations as long as they are comfortable, but unfortunately, this hotel didn’t even meet those basic standards. The walls were incredibly thin, and we could hear everything—voices, footsteps, and noises from both the room next door and below. The room furnishings and bed were of poor quality, and the bed itself was small and uncomfortable. None of the kitchen drawers closed properly, and the kitchen lacked basic amenities like a frying pan. What ultimately led us to leave after just one night was the overpowering smell of marijuana smoke coming from the a neighboring room. To make matters worse, construction started on-site before 8 a.m. - they are renovating the downstairs units, which was not noted on their website. We reached out to Hotels.com to request a refund and asked them to contact the property on our behalf, but no one answered the the emergency number we were provided. Additionally, the front desk wasn’t open until 9:30 a.m.—well after we had already left the property. Overall, we were very disappointed with our stay and the lack of support from management. Marco Island is a gorgeous place with many accommodation options to choose from - we strongly advise potential guests to STRONGLY consider other options.

Our suite was perfect for two couples. Plenty of space and nicely updated. Would definitely book again if back in town. We were only there for one night but kitchen was perfectly equipped for longer stays.

Our check-in was the easiest and best we’ve ever had. Nicole is wonderful and amazing. The room was clean and very large. Highly recommend anyone staying on Marco Island to stay here!

Although we had a problem with noise, the mgt was very kind. This is an older place and looks like mgt is doing heavy updates. Noise was late at night and they do not have night working staff. Kitchen area was very nice in room. Despite noise, we would try again in hopes for a better experience based on mgt response to our concerns.

A modest yet plentiful little inn with a view on the lake. Clean and quiet. Staff helpful and gave us a late check out so we didn’t have to stress.

Nicole was amazing at the front desk. My husband and daughter had some issues with flights but all worked out and they very much enjoyed the property. Will definitely be back and highly recommend

This is a great spot. Affordable and clean with obvious recent upgrades. We were on the second floor with a lanai overlooking the lake. Lots of bird activity and just delightful! Kitchen was well equipped and there was plenty of seating. Close to shops and grocery. Residential neighborhood. I’d go again when in the area!

The Inn is recovering from hurricane Ian. The room was spacious with kitchenette, sitting area with couch and dining table, very clean and appeared freshly painted with a new vinyl floor. Somewhat spartan, but great for overnight or an extended stay. Internet was OK but slow most of the time. Good for email. TV in sitting room and BRm. I didn\'t turn them on so don\'t know the lineup. The "lake" is more like a large retention pond leftover from when the Island was pristine with salt water lagoons. Stores and restaurants are within easy walking distance. In the boonies this would be a $100/night motel. But you\'re paying for the "Marco" ambience, which is worth the premium. My stay at the Inn was comfortable, safe, and quiet. It\'s not the Marriott, but it\'s not $1,200/night either.

Quiet location on a small lake. I stayed on the ground floor in an updated unit, it was beautiful. Plenty of space, all new appliances, huge shower. The pool is a bit outdated but has a lake view. Easy to Uber and walk places. Only a 10 minute Uber to all the resorts/restaurants. Free parking, free wifi, no issues with internet. 10am checkout is a little early but you want to get to the beach anyways.

Well located and equipped property. We will stay again.
