Sirata St. Pete Beach Resort, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

The new uogrades and renovations theyve done since our last time here are great! This is our 4th time staying here. The staff are so helpful, the pool, restaurant and rooms are very clean, and the food and drinks are delicious.

We had stayed at Sirata a few years ago and it was one of our favorites. This time was disappointing. They tacked on a $40 resort fee per day, but parts of the amenities were closed all week, we only had one working elevator, and housekeeping was hit or miss. They also put $50 per day hold on your credit card . This place nickle and dimes you to death .There was construction going on all week and it was a mess. Feel like we shouldnt have had to pay the resort fees. Also we were put in the farthest building from everything and there was only a couple more people even in our building. The parking lot was empty but we were charged $25 per day to park ? The beach was great as it always is but for the money I will try to find another place for our stay next time

This was a great experience loved the heated pool great drink prices.

I liked the easy close parking to the building. I liked the beachside pool. I liked the full kitchen, so I could put all our food & leftovers in the frig. The hot tub was not working properly (the jets kept turning on & off randomly). The location is close to everything on the strip. SR 669 is minutes away to take you into St Pete interior communities.

Almost the entire place was under construction. I get it and glad they are upgrading, but my stay wasn't exactly priced to reflect half the property being under construction and hearing saws and hammers all day while laying by the pool. A 50$ credit or something towards food and drink would have been a nice guesture if just given with "we are sorry for the construction But enjoy a little something to make up for it"..would have gone a long way. Staff was very friendly, however the line to check in was pretty long and slow. There was absolutely nowhere in our room to hang up towels, beach or bath, which I thought was odd and inconvenient for a beach hotel. I left feeling like I WAY overpaid for my stay, especially when other nearby places had better rates and not under construction. (I hose this over the others as I thought it would be more "resort" like). The location was good and beach was great, so no complaints there.

It would have been nice to be informed of all the construction going from 8 am - after 8 pm some evenings. Videos n pictures for proof. Been staying here for over 15 years n received no information or a discount.

This property is right on the beach! It has fire pits at night time. Two bars by the pool, we will definitely be back.

Rooms were nice, but dated including a 1980's microwave (there was a new one on the kitchen counter). Plus was a full size refrigerator. They have 2 restaurants/ beach bars, but only 1 was open. Service was very slow due to the 1 that was opened being packed. Food was so so. Only real negative was a substantial daily resort fee that got you free beach towels. 2 loungers and an umbrella on the beach will set you back another $40 a day. Other places in St Pete they are included in the resort fee.

This was one month after the hurricane. Incredible job getting a limited number of things back up and running so quickly. Both pools and hot tub were up and running and spotless. Only one of the restaurants was up, but it was great. Everything on the first floor was under construction. Harry's does serve breakfast even though it says it does not online (prob pre hurricane). Beach chairs and umbrellas were only available 3 or 4 days per week, which unfortunately only lined up for 1 day of our 3 day stay. Understandably there is construction everywhere, unfortunately, you hear it all day long. If you're going there to relax....just one thing to note. Mattresses were a little stiff (nothing to do with the hurricane)

Things have changed since new owner, not only do they charge a resort fee but now they charge for parking and beach loungers and umbrellas which they didn’t used to. Employees were friendly and helpful… prices high at the beach bars. Liz at Harry’s Beach bar made awesome drinks . The same drinks at Rum Runners did not compare. This resort has lots of potential if owners would update and clean it up a bit.

Old infrastructure (Hotel )and without maintenance, deteriorated bathrooms and skinks,not very clean facilities, pleasant staff

Well check in was a mess, the room we thought we were getting by the picture on the site was not the room we got, we got a room that was very dated. It was in an older builder and very dirty. The bathroom especially! It had pink and black mold in the shower and bathtub, and the bathtub was so dirty as well. I told the staff 3 times and nothing was done! The towels and toilet paper were never restocked and when I asked they only gave us 2 towels for 4 people and then we had to get more, and it took hours for them to bring it up to us. The pull-out couch sheets were dirty with dirt and lipstick on them and when i told them they never brought us new sheet and again asked them 3 times. Mind you we were staying there 5 nights! So, I had to give them my sheets and comforter off of my bed and I had to buy from a store so I could sleep in my bed. This place is a joke! They charge 25.00 a night for a car, and 50.00 a night for resort fee as well! If you want to stay at the new renovated site, you have to "ask" for it or you will be put in the more disgusting rooms ever! Only reason why I booked here is because my hotel I always stay at is still under construction due to the hurricane and I saw their rooms on here and got duped! This place is horrible! Never go here and a waste of time and money! This place never did any to accommodate me for what was wrong with my stay for what was wrong with my room on top of that! Do better! Calling corporate! I should get my money back!

The facilities were completely filthy. The elevator was dirty all the time, without air conditioning. The sheets in the room were dirty the day I arrived.

There were a dirty Band-Aid on the towels in the bathroom. There were obviously things left from the person in the room before us like old coffee filters that were never changed. The floors were dirty generally speaking, the rooms were rundown.

Expected a more clean space, sofa bed upholster diety , curtains dirty, some sheets had stains.

Floors in our room were not clean. Floors turned our feet black. Very noisy guests on our floor. Chair cushions were dirty and table and chairs were banged up, chipped and looked liked they’d been rescued from a dumpster.

The property was just filthy. I realize that they had just been through two hurricanes and the first floor level was not available, but that doesn’t make up for how filthy the property was on the seventh floor and the sixth floor and the fifth floor. The carpet in the hallways was so stained you would’ve thought someone had bled to death there. We had a recently renovated room and the floor tile in our room was so filthy that I walked around for just 10 minutes in white sox and the bottoms were black. The kitchenette area was poorly stocked. I had to call down to get some silverware. There was no microwave and we had to call down to get that delivered too. The phone in the room did not work so you had to call down from your cell phone, no big deal if the rest of the place was up to par. Only one of the three restaurants was open. The gym was closed. The playroom for foosball, ping-pong, etc was closed. I asked them to waive the hotel resort fee since so many of the amenities were not available and they said they did waive it for people who stayed before October 31. I have no idea what that has to do with the fact that these areas were still not available. Housekeeping’s quick response was about the only good thing. The location and beauty of the beach was nice but every hotel along the strip had that going for it. I do not recommend The Sirata. It was massively overpriced for what we received.

Floors were filthy even after housekeeping “mopped” the floors. Our feet were black underneath if we walked barefoot at all. The shower had rust in it and I felt very unclean using it. Even the shower curtains hung to the shower floor and were drenched in water, creating mold. Beds were pretty comfy, I just felt grossed out in that room overall and unless it were veryyyy cheap to stay here, I definitely wont stay here again.

The sheets and towels were stained, the air ducts seemed like they hadn't been cleaned in months, full of dust. Disgusting.

It has been some time since we stayed at the Sirata after going every year for years. We understand that it is being divided between two hotel chains and undergoing renovation. Our room was in the un-renovated section and in fairly poor condition. If you go, make sure you are in the renovated part, although we never saw those rooms to vouch for them. I am not sure we would ever stay there again.

We had an ocean front room. The room was fantastic. The only problem was they built a two story building right in front of our rooms. So yes, we could see the ocean, but we had to overlook the rooftop of the building in front of us. It was also very loud all the time to sit out on your balcony because the air conditioners on the roof were always going. Everything else was very nice.

Building one has been nicely remodeled. The other buildings still need work . Front desk staff were very helpful

Location was amazing. Staff was great, especially the man at the beach chair rental stand and the two women housekeepers on the 5th floor. Pools were good. Parking was tight on the weekend but we always found a spot. The main building has been recently renovated and is lovely. The other buildings are past due for a renovation…but they were clean and spacious.

We stayed at the King + sofa bed sleep 4 beach view. 1. The building could use some maintenance 2. The mattress of the sofa bed was way beyond cheap... it was homeless level. You could feel all the mattress structure. We all 4 had to sleep in one queen bed. We talked with the manager about this and she said she was going to notify the maintenance staff immediately and gave us complement lunch since we booked through expedia and not them. We wanted the full return, it was anything but a weekend/vacation sleep. We want the full return by expedia a lunch doesn't cover the bad night and delayed day we had.

Our room we started at the doors to the balcony ocean view were broke & wouldn’t open, the maintenance man tried to fix but they went off track every time you tried to open & then couldn’t close them, we couldn’t use the balcony the first several days we were there nor see view we paid for. No one offered to move us, I’m a night person so I went down late night & spoke to a man overnight & he gave me several room keys until I was so frustrated I was about to ask for a refund & leave but then he handed me a key to a room that wasn’t a king suite but did have 2 queen beds & sliding balcony doors on the end of the unit so we stayed & it ended up being a decent room. He was very nice & helpful. However we only got housekeeping twice in the 5 nights we stayed & once we because we asked front desk and then a housekeeper & she said her English was bad & we said we need clean towels & have trash & that was all we got. The rooms are overpriced on the building 3 and 4 non remodeled rooms, they have sold the other remodeled building to Hilton. No help with bags/ no bellhop! Every sink was clogged up. 2 pools kids at both. The 2 restaurants are the same menus just on 2 different sides of the hotel & the third was closed for remodeling, so they really only have one restaurant. A bowel of cereal was $9.50 CB and FF was $20. No one told us how to get around I asked the cashier at a T-shirt shop next door. Call Island hoppers they are great for rides around they work on tips!

Comfortable beds, spacious rooms. Only issue is that the shower tray isn't deep enough and water leaks out of the one side.

AC not working properly, front door does not close unless you pull it closed. Beds only had sheets on them .Mircowave not working properly. Don't think they were ready to open 100%.

Place is in a great location! Had multiple issues with the keys and the door of our room. They kept saying it was that the keys were deactivated. We saw it was a problem with the lock! Needs an updated system!

The place was very clean and lots of onsite activities. The only negative was the air conditioner was set to 66 and the room was as warm.

The staff was friendly and courteous.

Shelley was amazing during check-in! She was able to upgrade our room and was extremely kind and helpful. Travis also was fabulous! He mentioned some restaurants to try and things to do while in the area for my daughter’s bachelorette. Dom and the bar staff are always fun and patient!

The check in process was a disaster to put it mildly and anyone checking in on 7-12 thewould agree

The pools are great, had to wait until 5 to get to get room keys, check in time is 4, room was not finished, no blankets, or sheets on beds, we had to call to bring blankets, they had so many people waiting in the lobby for rooms, i think they just stripped the beds and put out more of the regular items they do and maybe sweep it. The next morning, I was at the pool, and housekeeping kicked my husband and daughter out of the room, even though check outis 11am.

We booked a last-minute anniversary trip and flew in from Texas, excited for a relaxing beach getaway—but unfortunately, Sirata did not live up to expectations. The property looked run-down from the moment we arrived, and the lobby felt muggy and lifeless—not welcoming at all. While we understand the resort is recovering from hurricane damage, that reality isn’t reflected in the advertising, which felt misleading. Our room was spacious but very dated and felt stuffy. The overall vibe of the resort was tired, and several advertised amenities were either unavailable or not as described. Staff interactions were average at best—no warm hospitality or energy you’d expect from a beachfront resort. While we made the best of it, this was not the beach resort experience we were hoping for. Disappointing stay and not one we’d recommend for a special occasion.

I’ve stayed at Sirata 6–7 times over the past 10 years, and it’s usually great—but this most recent visit fell far short. Our room didn’t appear properly cleaned. The beds were made, but the floor, tub, and bathroom were noticeably dirty. We were also placed between rooms with older kids who ran between rooms, drank, and made noise outside our door until 3 a.m. After a sleepless night, we moved to a higher floor—losing our balcony. In the new room the sofa bed was broken, slanted, had a stained mattress, and came with no bedding. Getting bedding took over an hour. Staff said it couldn’t be provided at the desk but never delivered it, and I had to go back down to get it myself. The staff was rude, and the front desk phone was always busy. When it rained, water leaked through the exhaust fan in the ceiling. The property overall felt neglected: used vapes and soda cups stayed in elevators for days, and bags of mulch sat untouched in common areas. Sadly, we won’t be returning to Sirata. It’s disheartening to see the decline in cleanliness, service, and professionalism—especially with rising prices. We’ve made great memories here, but next time, we’ll stay elsewhere, like Tradewinds.

Awful customer service! We stay here every year, and this year was despicable. Wouldn’t have left a bad review or complained if it wasn’t for the complete disrespect from the “manager” Corey. This place has really gone down hill. Believe the bad reviews you’re seeing. Unfortunate :(

During our stay we were unable to call the front desk. Anytime we tried any of the numbers there was no answer. Even after our trip O have tried contacting them several times to get a copy of my final bill, to no avail. I call get a vm and never hear back. Even when we went down to the front desk to ask for clean towels, they never showed at our room. The location was great, the pools and patios were great. The pool restaurant took over 2 hours each night to get us our food, and we were only a party of 5. Overall the service was horrible, the rooms were nice, the showers hot, but the staff just killed it for me.

Sherry was a pleasure at the front desk. Made our stay experience extremely relaxing. Check in was a breeze, the pool staff were super polite and drinks came quickly! We decided we needed another day and Sherry made things happen. Great time, thank you Sirata.

Parking was the worst I’ve seen in the many times I stayed. There must have been an extremely large wedding staying. There was a DJ on the beach playing very loud music (which typically like) but this wasn’t the place for it. This group also had several tents lined up at the beachfront and it was definitely not the environment. I am used to on Saint Pete Beach. On top of that we could not find parking to the evenings that we came back from dinner. I have never seen the parking lot at a point where there wasn’t one space available. The good news is in my frustration. I contacted the front desk and without even questioning, they offered to refund, my resort and parking fee due to the inconvenience. They mentioned that they did not have a way to monitor the parking lot and people were bringing friends. They were not staying at the resort. I know several other hotels have the security booth and someone in place to verify parking permits. it would be great to see this happen at the Sirata, especially on holiday weekends since we are being charged a parking fee on top of the resort fee. On a very positive note I have to just speak about Rachel the assistant manager. We visit this location monthly and the last two times we’ve stayed. Rachel has made our visit unforgettable. Not only does she have a sincere passion for client service, but she was genuine friendly and went out of her way to make my husband and my 25th wedding anniversary just a little more special. She is the BEST!

We've been going to the Sirata for years. This year we had an oceanfront room. The room and view were great, the bathroom was tiny but functional. The food and drinks are great at both restaurants. The beach is beautiful. It is very walkable to fun bars and restaurants. It is a decent value for the beach. Overall an great stay.

The location and beach were very nice and clean. However, I would say for the price, that this place is glorified motel. The two restaurants on property were like cruise food... iykyk. The staff was awesome and helped us check in early at no charge to help with our red eye flight that had come in.

The location is perfect, very friendly staff, walkable to the beach, rooms are comfortable and clean. Beautiful sunsets! Parking is a challenge and you have to pay a fee.

Check in was easy and quick. Staff was very pleasant and friendly. Two cute bar areas, one by the big pool and one more beachside. Fun atmosphere. Rooms were clean and beds were comfy. They are upsetting some of the wings, but the noise was minimum. Would stay here again.

Park you car and forget about it. Very walkable.

Main restaurant was closed. Rum runners and Harry’s have the exact same menu and all the food is actually terrible, tried so many menu items. Rooms in Building 4 are all in different states of disrepair, from flickering balcony lights to clogged drains and floors that will turn your socks black in 10 steps. Everything closed hours before the advertised time, couldn’t even get mid food at Harry’s after 3 on a weekday or even a drink after 4. Definitely should have gone to the tradewinds next door instead.

Harry's closing early for food ok, but for drinks should be open later. Having to walk from one pool to the n CT for drinks is a bummer

Pools were nice but the cabanas by the small pool were nicer than the onces by the large pool for some odd reason. Bar drinks and food by the large pool were both good and reasonably priced. My room was right above the bar and one night someone forgot to turn off the music lol Other than that one night there was no other issues.

I loved the property. Plenty of activities. The restaurant had great food, but the service was very slow.

I would say the only thing is the rum runner restaurant quality was not as expected and not for the price charged

Half of Sirata is owned by Hilton now, and the transition is very messy. There is rumblings of other hotels taking over their other buildings, so they are not updating those. Building 4 is old, one elevator for the entire building and phones are inoperable and not being fixed. One of the beach bars and restaurants is only open Thurs-Sun and the other restaurant is closed. The only open bar/restaurant closes early (10:00 or 11:00) every night along with all fire pits. We were there a week and more than half the kid activities were not happening (no show no heads up), which is super disappointing if you have kids. I’d pay slightly more and stay down a few doors at Tradewinds. Only one of the front desk workers is kind and helpful. One is a huge jerk and the other cannot help with anything.

Hotel was nice. Room was comfortable, location was close to restaurants/stores and beach was very nice. Crabby Bills and Rick's Reef were two good places to eat. Hotel restaurants were not great. Had the Grouper for dinner at Rum Runners and it was dry. Also had dinner at Harry's Beach Bar and food was cold. Both restaurants took a while to get food and there were not many people eating at those times. Id go elsewhere for food as there are many other places nearby. Hotel was a great stay and staff was extremely nice. Restaurants not that great.
