The pool was great but there’s no actual tiki bar and the restaurant on site closes at 2pm. There is a chic fil-a and Burger King literally next door to the hotel…but if you’re looking for a nice place to get a drink while the kids splash around in the pool, this is not the place for you. The rooms were okay; nothing to write home about. The airport was about 10-15 mins away. Hotel located in a residential area. Probably wouldn’t stay here again honestly.

The room was clean, but smelled like bleach, the front desk staff was friendly, housekeeping was friendly. I didn't eat breakfast there. I liked my stay but I guess I didn't read the fine print because even though I paid in advance for my room, I had to pay a $100 deposit when I got there. The pool is closed and the pictures online fooled me!!

I wish Expedia would stay up to date with the hotels it offers. Half the place was under major construction, with walls missing and pool completely unusable. We did receive an email about the pool from the hotel before arrival but after we had already paid through expedia which had out dated photos of the pool. The rooms are large, have tile floors which is better than the old carpet in the hallways. The bed was clean but uncomfortable. But there definitely spots not cleaned well enough and the rooms had a smell of old cigarettes. The Lobby staff were nice and professional enough but overall the place is really run down. That being said for the price I have stayed in worse and maybe once all the construction and updates are done it be worth looking at again.

Overall decent hotel. The floor of the room was very slick, seems like they used a cleaner that wasn’t suitable. Front Office staff is phenomenal. There is no elevator on the property.

Front desk attendants were nice and polite. Building was being renovated on one side of the property. Room was quite, clean, gave a retro 70s, 80s feel with the furniture and bathroom fixtures. The room did not have a phone. The pool was not open. The cafe was not a part of the hotel. Open for breakfast and lunch only.

Horrible place. Half of it was blocked off! The elevators didn't work. The room stuck so bad we left immediately. And the pool was not like the pictures showed it was empty and disgusting. I'm trying to get a refund and hotels.com is making me wait until the hotel refunds me! I can send photos. I've never been more disgusted. Please make this right and do not rent a room here

Where do I start? They are doing some construction, but this was ridiculous. The room was rundown. We found vomit in the bathroom, so obviously it hadn’t been clean correctly. We knew the pool was gonna be shut down. And there was only one plug-in in the entire room, which the TV was plugged into. For $200 a night, it cost about four times what it was worth.

Unfortunately this motel is not well maintained. The staff are very polite and friendly but they are not trained properly or held accountable. We stayed for two nights. The products provided; shampoo, shower soap were half full and not replaced for the second day. Housekeeping must have come into the room because towels were folded, not new towels by the way, but the beds were not made, trash wasn’t empty… ?!? Asked for extra towels on the first day and they were provided promptly and with a smile. The air conditioner sounds like a jet plane taking off and there were tons of flying, biting insects. The price is pretty cheap but I guess you get what you pay for. Sorry but I can’t give this a positive review. P. S. I really hope we don’t end up with bed bugs and don’t even look behind the very old and beat up furniture, hasn’t been cleaned in years. Spend your money elsewhere until these folks get the hint to stop running this motel this way.

We wanted to get the best room in what was advertised to be a beautiful boutique hotel, and we’re willing to pay this higher price for it. $124 is way too much for putting up with this. We paid for extra comfort, because we were in a wedding and wanted a lot of space to get ready. They really did a number in their advertising and photos, because every single thing in our room was either broken or filthy. During the first night, I requested either a refund, a change to a clean room, or even to let me borrow some cleaning supplies. They assured me that someone will clean the room first thing in the morning. The next morning, I followed up with the day shift front desk, and he said “yes, I have the note to mop your floor”. I explained it was way more than the floor. Someone did in fact attempt to clean our room later that morning, but this filth is something that would take more than a once-over. There is long term grime that’s gonna take some deep cleaning to be even remotely acceptable. There’s also the inch build up on the air intake resulting in nonstop sneezing and coughing. After walking barefoot, the bottoms of our feet were black. We literally drove to the gas station to get wipes so we could at least not be too grossed out to sleep there. Structurally, there’s broken privacy blinds, horrible beds, separation of wall surfaces, random nail polish spots, etc. I am ashamed of myself for having my wife and I stay there. If anyone is considering this place- just don’t!

Room had a strong cleanser smell. Really unpleasant and took a toll on my sleep. No hairdryer in the room. A|C was unable to be adjusted in the room , which was very uncomfortable after my shower. I was only there for one night and therefore it was not worth complaining about. The people at the front desk were very, very nice, check in was smooth and the room was very clean.

We booked a king bed and got a queen. The room was dirty and the electrical sockets were very loose. The couch was stained and have screws on it. The toilet was very short and not easy to use.

The room was spacious and the beds were okay however furnishings were outdated and worn. The floors turned our socks black immediately and the dust on the lamps and baseboards was gross. The smell of bleach and unknown odors was off putting as well. It was the dirtiest room we have ever stayed in.

The rooms are not properly cleaned. The place is worn down. The room was dirty and the bathtub was rusty. The room smelt moldy. The pool is majorly cracked with a hole in it. I would never stay here again.

The room seemed clean enough but as soon as we walked in I asked my wife if she would be all right. She was not. There was a strong smell of dust / mold or something that can't be masked. During the night she had an asthma attack and had to use her inhalers. We left early. She still has not recovered.

The room decor is very dated (very old). The bathrooms need a complete overhaul (sink, toilet, shower faucets, etc.). The rooms are clean, but the musty smell is unbearable. The rooms with connecting doors are horrible because you can hear everything that's going on in the other room (laughter, conversations, etc.). Location is not bad, near restaurants around and busy street, close distance to a publix which is very convenient.

This hotel is nothing fancy. But the location is great. The room had dated fixtures, but it was clean and comfortable. Lots of restaurants nearby. Super easy to check in and Staff was very friendly. When I am in the Tampa area, I would definitely stay here again.

This place was decent at most. Can’t say it was the worst place we’ve stayed. Definitely as outdated as my great-grandparent’s house. Things were mostly clean. We had 2 different one night stays before and after our cruise. First stay was a standard king bed. Clean, outdated, and had a pretty musty smell. Second stay we had a king suite. The room was huge, but half the lights didn’t even work. One light didn’t even have a damn lightbulb. The room had a very unpleasant smell, the couch/pull out bed was absolutely terrible! I wouldn’t have even given it away for free! The king bed, toilet, TVs, and couch were severely worn out. I’m not terribly picky, but definitely honest. I would stay there again, just to see if they made improvements. It is a pretty good one night stay before or after a trip but probably not for an extended amount of time.

The person at check-in was friendly and efficient. A great breakfast/lunch restaurant with nothing but regulars -- a true throwback. The property is a bit dated and the walls are PAPER-THIN .. I could hear every word and sound from the room next door, including the TV from 4 AM to 6:30 AM. The area was pretty congested and busy, but close to lots of food/drink options.

The person at check-in was friendly and efficient. A great breakfast/lunch restaurant with nothing but regulars -- a true throwback. The property is a bit dated and the walls are PAPER-THIN .. I could hear every word and sound from the room next door, including the TV from 4 AM to 6:30 AM. The area was pretty congested and busy, but close to lots of food/drink options.

The room was hot when we arrived. I left the AC blowing all night, it never cooled down. Then the shower was ice cold. My son couldn’t even tolerate it long enough to bathe. Turned to the hottest temp and the water was still cold.

I stayed here for a couple nights for a quick getaway for my birthday. I paid for a “Superior suite”. I was expecting a balcony or blinds to where the sun came in, like shown in the photos under the “superior suite” but my room wasn’t like that. It seems the photos are mixed up and they have the same photos on all the rooms that they offer. That was kind of disappointing because that’s what I was looking forward to the most. I read previous reviews about there being a smell in the lobby of mildew and I smelled it upon arrival. Also, I was in room 306 or 308 i believe, and the people next to me were extremely loud, the walls are paper thin. There is a dresser blocking off a door behind it, which i believe lead to the other room next to me that was so loud. The people next to me, were arguing. This is a good place to come if you’re not picky and just want to save a few dollars for a quick stay. Also no pool right now, but I knew that before deciding to come here. The t.v was great, lots of options. Room and bathroom very nice and clean. I would suggest maybe some aromas for the smell atleast in the lobby, and maybe some music? The silence is deadly and unwelcoming. The front desk gentleman recommended the restaurant on premises but I didn’t try it out. The vending machine was very convenient for me though.Although these are the things that I noticed. It was okay , I rested and I might come back again in future. This place has a lot of potential and I hope to see it. Thank you.

Restaurant downstairs was excellent for breakfast. Maintenance guys were super friendly, and carried my suitcase for me when they saw me struggling with it. Room wasn't bad. Big bathroom. I noticed a few days after checking out, I was charged an extra $420 out of the blue... I had to get my bank involved to get a refund. Interesting how $420 was just off by a small amount of my original bill, and the front desk couldn't explain how it happened or why. I was also told my deposit was released but I never received it. I cleaned my room myself before I left. Don't smoke. It was a little off-putting to never get that $100 back. This all happened like 2 days before Christmas, I was not happy. Diner downstairs is good, but not so great I can overlook the financial mishaps. Won't be staying again.

This hotel is nothing fancy. But the location is great. The room had dated fixtures, but it was clean and comfortable. Lots of restaurants nearby. Super easy to check in and Staff was very friendly. When I am in the Tampa area, I would definitely stay here again.

I didn’t even get to stay because of the deposit I got kicked out. The guy at the reservation counter was very very rude unprofessional kick me out of the as a he was terrible and now they won’t give me my money back because they said I can’t I did not cancel. He would not give me a room Bad place to go.

We have stayed here many times and this was our last visit. Due to check in and our experience with who checked us in. They could have easily resolved the issue and kept us as returning customers. Totally disappointed.

My boyfriend and I got stuck in the elevator for 10 minutes. Couldn’t get the door to open. Told the front desk. She stated she would let her boss know but I don’t know if she did. We took the stairs the rest of our stay. No one acknowledged the situation after.

I absolutely adored this location. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The part of the Inn I stayed in was recently renovated and beautiful while keeping the throwback to a previous era charm and quirkiness. I will stay there again

It's a convenient place to stay if you're in town for a Bucs game. It's not too far from the stadium, easy access to restaurants and has free parking. We park closer to the stadium and walk to the games. It's an older hotel, but we felt safe. It could use some updates in the rooms, but overall it was a good place to stay for a low price.

The pool was great but there’s no actual tiki bar and the restaurant on site closes at 2pm. There is a chic fil-a and Burger King literally next door to the hotel…but if you’re looking for a nice place to get a drink while the kids splash around in the pool, this is not the place for you. The rooms were okay; nothing to write home about. The airport was about 10-15 mins away. Hotel located in a residential area. Probably wouldn’t stay here again honestly.

Front desk attendants were nice and polite. Building was being renovated on one side of the property. Room was quite, clean, gave a retro 70s, 80s feel with the furniture and bathroom fixtures. The room did not have a phone. The pool was not open. The cafe was not a part of the hotel. Open for breakfast and lunch only.

I booked this hotel because we had gotten back early from a cruise but our flight home was later that night. We wanted somewhere we could hang out and relax. The pool area was 5 stars. Super nice! Tons of chairs, tables, palapas etc. However, the room was very outdated and kind of gross. There were crack pipe burns all over the sink and headboards. Our feet were black from walking barefooted in the room & it smelled lilke the inside of a stale tent. Staff was very accommodating and friendly, so I have very mixed feelings.
