Our check-in was terrible. We booked two rooms but was told that there was only one. Apparently there was a “letter” mixup with our friends first name not matching the reservation. He knew it was him by his license but gave us a hard time about it & said he couldn’t “tell us” the name was different. It wasn’t so much the confusion as it was that he was very rude about it!! The employees name was Mike & while I understand people sometimes have a bad day, customer service is his job & there is no place for rudeness when it comes to hotel staff!! I may have excused this behavior until the next day when another customer had their car battery die. When she asked the same staff member if the hotel had jumper cables, he replied that they did, but he could not let her use them as it was a liability!! Seriously?? What liability?? Not only that, he did not even offer any other type of assistance to these poor people. No compassion or empathy was shown by this staff member. Everyone else was great & the stay itself was fine, but we think Mike needs some training in hotel hospitality!!!!!

Stayed 2 nights and the room was so-so. We were placed in a handicap room so no shelves in the bathroom which made the counter cramped. The shower drained very slow which probably meant hair was clogging it up. The room had a very musty smell. Breakfast was not included and there were limited options in the hotel. We would likely stay there again but consider other options first.

Travelled in from out of town to watch the Braves game for my husband’s 40th birthday. Our original reservation elsewhere was canceled on us unexpectedly and Sonesta fortunately had room and the girls up front were so sweet as I was having a meltdown. They were very helpful our entire stay. Our room was clean and comfortable. The building could use a little TLC from fresh carpets, a few other minor things and could look into offering a more continental style breakfast but I would not let that stop you from staying here!! We had a great time and would recommend it!!
