Super 8 by Wyndham Augusta Ft Eisenhower Area

Parking is congested. No elevator. Extremely dirty and smelly. Asked for a non-smoking room, gave me room full of smell of weed and cigarettes. Smell of swear and csrpet is dirty. This is just horrible. This businesses should be closed and cleaned then restart.

The staff was very helpful. Since I requested a smoking room and all those were on the 3rd floor. This property had no elevator and since I have a handicap and cannot use stairs they opened a 1st floor room to allow me to smoke in.

Towels and bed was dirty. TV didn’t work.parking lot had a lot of trash and random people hanging around other people cars.

Hotel was a typical Super 8. My main complaint was there was no airport shuttle. That was our main challenge as the taxi service in Augusta is very spotty. Also we asked at the front deck about a taxi to go to Augusta National golf course. He gave us a card with a # to call. The guy quoted us $275.00 for a trip of about 20 minutes. Coincidentally that was the only number he had to give me. Sounds fishy to me

Pool wasn't open until the day before I left. That was a little upsetting but other than that I was happy

Clean, nice staff

The room was very clean & I encountered no problems. The best part about it was the front desk. He was an older gentleman, he was very sweet & helpful. Definitely will be going back.

Didn’t have a phone in my room and it was a little dingy

Not a place to stay and enjoy…merely a bed and shower, tv…very old, run-down property. Weed smell in lobby area was choking…would only stay there again if I had no other choice….

I’m disgusted. Would help to invest a little money into this property. Orange water from the faucets contaminated with iron; low water pressure; deteriorating walls; door hooks and hair dryer falling off the walls; I checked closely and no bed bugs …..so yay! If you want a bed and a shower….ok. Otherwise look elsewhere.

Incredibly high price for a room that was not clean and the door would not close properly. Even if it was masters week, the price for the condition was brutal.

Can’t get a hold of front desk to resolve my issue. Paid for a room that I did not even stay in.

Check in process was poor - door to the front desk (if there ever was one) was locked - waited a few minutes for a guy to come to the window asking for my id. He then disappeared for about 10 minutes while we waited outside in an area that did not seem very safe. The attendant then asked us to walked around the building to enter through a side door where a person smoking weed entered the facility through tailgating us. It's worth to pay the 30% more to not stay at a Super 8 (at least not this one) in the future.

The desk clerk charged me twice for my room and then yelled at me when i told him he made an error by charging me twice then he called the manager and the manager tried to explain why i was charged twice like their is a reason to overcharge someone. I had to end up calling the police then the front desk refunded my money for the overcharge but i had to wait 5 days to receive my refund and he ended up apologizing however all of that was very unnecessary.

The property was convenient for the pricing. The staff made it worth the stay. If you have more than 2 people bring your own towels.

I did not stay, I check in & I checked out within four hours. I know nothing about that State & city. Got in my car & started looking for another hotel on a Friday with no help from Hotels.com. I had an appointment the next day & I would not sleep in that place. I entered the lobby & was hit with drug smell, blanket w/ holes, screen torn out, this is the first floor i didn't feel safe to sleep. The toilet stopped up w/no plunger. Went to the front for a pIunger & saw the maintenance man w/two in his hand and he went into a storage room while I was waiting down the hall. I went back to the front desk & I got the plunger myself. I drove a long way & the price was over $200, I had to make stop at the Hampton Inn on my way & compared to them Hampton Inn was a Mansion with the same price or less. I WANT ALL OF MY MONEY BACK. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM HOTEL.COM. They couldn't find me another Hotel to go to the SAME night & told me to call, around WHAT? The reviews couldn't have been real unless they like drug deals & prostitution environment. I talked to a Sheriff at the place where I had my appointment, area is not good. I also had to stop at a retail store & I told the cashier how disappointed & frustrated I was & she told me about the area. Need I say more. I eventually found a professional & Very decent hotel to sleep in that night on a busy Friday night. They need to get a secret shopper to investigate that place.
