What a beautiful, relaxing, quaint bed and breakfast. Loved everything about it, from the owner making our stay enjoyable and convenient. Well maintained, clean beautiful rooms, kitchen, dining area AND the outside, WOW. The view, the relaxing areas to sit and just enjoy the brook running through the back, surrounded by trees, just beautiful. We will return for sure!

This is a charming historic building built on the edge of lush Gold Run Creek with rooms right down above the water. Mornings, sitting outside with a cup of coffee is awesome! Even a reconstructed non-functional flume runs across the property on the ancient concrete supports. And it’s a quick walk across the bridge to downtown Nevada CIty - a super great location. My rating of “okay” was based mainly on the fact that we are seniors and this isn’t a property for people who have problem with stairs or steps because you can’t go anywhere on this property without going up or down them. This is not a property for anyone who is truly mobility impaired. Even in our room, you had to step down a large step from the entry to the bed area, but have to step up a half step to get into the bathroom. We repeatedly tripped. It’s just what it is. My wife said that she would have really enjoyed this place back when I was younger because it is so interesting, but a 73, it’s a burden climbing the stores all the time. Something else, our room on the lower level is directly below the deck off of the dining and lounge area. Whenever a patio chair is moved, it reverberates loudly to our room below - at midnight. You don’t expect sound proofing in a 150 year old building, but made sleeping a challenge. Sorry, but we won’t be back, but it might be the idea place for you.

We enjoyed our stay and our host was the best! The dining room and kitchen were a feast for the eyes and stomach. The outdoor sitting areas above the creek were peaceful and relaxing. It was nice having access to the downstairs walk-in shower as we found the classic clawfoot tub in our room a bit intimidating (no handholds or non-slip mat). The location being just a few minutes walk to the historic downtown was perfect. Unfortunately, we were unaware that our room was at the top of a narrow, steep stairway as my wife and I have some mobility issues. We managed without incident. Would book again.

The historic 1860’s property is so unique and beautiful. It’s built right over a gorgeous part the the river and a 2 min walk to Broad St. Where you can find charming shops, restaurants & the best ice cream, Treats!

Wonderful stay. Lots of thoughtful and whimsical touches and it was so nice to relax next to the flowing water and enjoy the lovely grounds. Just steps to town. We'll be back.

Beautiful and fun decor inside and the property is stunning! The rooms have gorgeous views of the rushing creek and gardens outside. It’s a very short walk to restaurants and shops in the heart of historic downtown Nevada City.

Very nice and quiet. Staff and room were excellent. Great amenities. Hotel on side of hill so some stairs. Recommend highly to anyone who wants to get away but still have creature comforts.

This place is absolutely charming and beautiful. Its right on a creek. So lovely and tastefully decorated. Our patio overlooked the creek. The manager is wonderful as well. No elevator so if you can't do stairs probably not for you..

This was a magical place for us to stay during our visit to Nevada City. We stopped here for the night on our drive from Tahoe to SanFran and it was a cute little town with lots to do. Flumes End is close to downtown, so we just walked from the property. But, we spent less time in town than expected because Flume's End was so lovely! We stayed in the cottage - which was clean, had more amenities than expected, and had a private deck overlooking the creek. The main area also has outdoor space that we all enjoyed - complete with ample seating and creek access. The breakfast in the morning was lovely. overall - a magical stop in a lovely CA town.

I don't write reviews often but this place deserves a review. The place was absolutely beautiful. Our room had a deck right next to the creek and hearing the water flow was soothing. The room was cozy and very well kept. The shower was large and looked recently remodeled. The bed was extremely comfortable and deserves mention. The price was also affordable. My wife and I were attending an event at Miners Foundry and it was well within walking distance and walking distance to downtown. For anyone staying in Nevada City, I would highly recommend this breed and breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The hosts were wonderful and helpful. The cottage was lovely and exceptionally clean, with a wonderful kitchen and bath. The breakfast was buffet style with multiple choices of food and beverages. Will return for sure.

I loved this creekside setting and easy walk to the main streets. We stayed in the grand suite and it was worth the splurge for our own private patio and lovely room and bathroom. Hostess was great.

Wonderful continental breakfast with lots of options. Priya, the innkeeper, could not have been nicer. Our room, "Pyrite", was a bit small but the outside deck was fabulous.

Amazing…our room overlooked the creek and we enjoyed the balcony … nice to hear the water all night. Beautiful little secret place…totally vintage which is totally us. Hostess so charming we felt at home. Definitely will go again. Highly recommend 🌷

It’s a lovely Inn with a big private backyard and creek runs through. The grand suites are spacious and very cozy. Definitely will recommend it to family and friends.

This is so unique and adorable. The dogs are a highlight too. I loved being so so close to the creek, which was basically a river this year. Easy walk to downtown NC. My only complaint is that since it is so old, sound travels and it was hard to sleep. It sounded like someone hammering upstairs after 10:00. Be sure to bring air pods or ear plugs. Otherwise, it was perfect and I would stay again.

I don't write reviews often but this place deserves a review. The place was absolutely beautiful. Our room had a deck right next to the creek and hearing the water flow was soothing. The room was cozy and very well kept. The shower was large and looked recently remodeled. The bed was extremely comfortable and deserves mention. The price was also affordable. My wife and I were attending an event at Miners Foundry and it was well within walking distance and walking distance to downtown. For anyone staying in Nevada City, I would highly recommend this breed and breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Phenomenal bed and breakfast. It is my 2nd time staying here but my first since Priya took ownership and she is amazing. My partner and I stayed in the yurt and it was so so perfect. I wanted to just live there forever. It is central to town and the bathtub is divine. The yurt has its own private bathroom which is located in the main house. Breakfast in the am was presented beautifully and so delicious. Don't think twice. Book this spot.

We love staying at Flume's End. This is our second time staying there and has been a tradition now for our staycation. Every time we go, it feels homey. Priya is an amazing host and a very nice lady. Highly recommend this place!

Flume’s End was loved by the whole family. Priya is an amazing host. She greeted us upon arrival and showed us around. The property is in the perfect proximity to town. We were easily able to walk to dinner and shopping easily. The river and surrounding areas are beautiful. Breakfast was very good, and the dining area is so well decorated. We loved walking around the house and looking at all the antiques. We hope to be back in the Summertime.

I took my daughter on a birthday trip and we had the best stay. The owner took time to meet us at our car when we arrived, as it was raining. She showed us around the hotel, pointing out all the features. Our favorite was that there was hot chocolate, tea and coffee and cookies in the evening. Our stay was amazing! The only critique we had was that there were not enough pictures of our charming room, the Grand Suite, or the food area on hotels.com.

I loved Priya, very personable. I loved how close the location is to Historic Downtown Nevada City, one block up. The gardens are pure serenity with a creek running through. The site is between two busy roads but Priya even had that taken care of. It was just amazing!!

This was such a beautiful house!! The inside is so lovely and clean. The outside area was beautiful and loved all the places to sit… there is some traffic noise but you can’t go anywhere without that. Very walkable to downtown but be prepared to walk some hills.. would stay here again

The historic 1860’s property is so unique and beautiful. It’s built right over a gorgeous part the the river and a 2 min walk to Broad St. Where you can find charming shops, restaurants & the best ice cream, Treats!

Beautiful and fun decor inside and the property is stunning! The rooms have gorgeous views of the rushing creek and gardens outside. It’s a very short walk to restaurants and shops in the heart of historic downtown Nevada City.

This was a magical place for us to stay during our visit to Nevada City. We stopped here for the night on our drive from Tahoe to SanFran and it was a cute little town with lots to do. Flumes End is close to downtown, so we just walked from the property. But, we spent less time in town than expected because Flume's End was so lovely! We stayed in the cottage - which was clean, had more amenities than expected, and had a private deck overlooking the creek. The main area also has outdoor space that we all enjoyed - complete with ample seating and creek access. The breakfast in the morning was lovely. overall - a magical stop in a lovely CA town.

We were fully satisfied with our stay. Our room was clean and quiet. The inn keeper was friendly and knowledgeable about local activities. The location was perfect; close to downtown and lots of restaurants within walking distance. I will definitely be going back!

Wonderful continental breakfast with lots of options. Priya, the innkeeper, could not have been nicer. Our room, "Pyrite", was a bit small but the outside deck was fabulous.

The hosts were wonderful and helpful. The cottage was lovely and exceptionally clean, with a wonderful kitchen and bath. The breakfast was buffet style with multiple choices of food and beverages. Will return for sure.

Such a cute place! We stayed in the yurt, which was fun and cute. The property was right next to the highway, though down in a valley, and we could hear Highway noise from the yurt but they provided earplugs. There is a tub in there that had finicky temperature control but was nice for a bath. The breakfast was granola, yogurt, fruit and a couple pastries. Lots of charm and infinite things to look at!

Wonderful host! Beautiful property. Fits into exactly what you would want out of a Nevada City Experience. Location was phenomenal. Right over the bridge where you feel removed, but a quick walk and you’re right downtown in the heart of it all. 10/10. We’re coming back every year!

We stayed at the yurt and it was beautiful the environment is amazing lots of spots to sit and look at the water, the doors to the yurt however did not close or lock fully so anyone could open it at anytime.the Continental breakfast was a bit more of Continental snacks nothing that I would really consider a full breakfast but overall I really liked my stay. It is super cute and homey and I definitely would stay here again.

Our stay at Flume's End was idyllic. What a beautiful cottage - and so well situated! Every single detail of the decor was thoughtfully chosen. It was gorgeous, comfortable, clean - and Priya was so welcoming and thoughtful. I will 100% be booking here next time I visit Nevada City!

Our attic room was a bad place to sleep. I banged my head on sloped ceiling twice when getting up. We moved some of the furniture to avoid banging into another part of the sloped ceiling. The window air conditioner turned on and off multiple times, waking us with the loud noise of its compressor and blasting us with cold air for 20-30 seconds until it turned off. One of the other two windows slammed shut when I tried to open it. Another was in the en suite bathroom. I left it open despite noise from a nearby road. Also, the stairway to the attic was a bit too steep for elderly guests. The do-it-yourself breakfast was stocked with hard boiled eggs, granola, apparently homemade yogurt, very good fruit cups, orange juice, etc. Despite owning a simple Keurig coffee machine at home, we had difficulty producing a decent cup of coffee with the coffee maker. The entry and breakfast area displayed 100+ tea cups and other semi-antiques. That novelty did not make up for sleeping in an uncomfortable room.
