The property overall was very dirty including our room. Just so we're clear the property is old and that's okay, being dirty is not okay. The lady at the front desk was very polite during check in. There is a bar at the facility but it wasn't open. I'm not sure why you wouldn't have that open when you have a cavs game going on across the street. Very disappointing stay.

Was surprised how close this hotel was from our event we were attended (concert) it was alot closer than at anticipated. Food places were also close an in walking distant. The staff told us the bar inside the hotel is open till 11pm but the bar attendant was nice enough to stay over. At first the parking was confusing but they have valet parking was only $45 for the evening which was so much cheaper than parking across the street at the arena it cost $75 all we had to do was give the keys over they did all the parking and brought our car straight to us when checking out. Very friendly staff ! Room was at bigger than we thought an had a nice view from the 6th floor. I highly suggest this hotel especially if your planning on going to an event at the rocket arena. I will definitely go back to stay if we attend another concert or even out that way again.

The accommodations were very nice. Downtown Cleveland. We were in town for a Cavaliers game and worried about walking back to the hotel after the game. Well, you can see Rocket Arena from the hotel. It’s about a one block walk with a direct walking path right outside the hotel. The two bedroom suite was nice but missing soap, the internet was not working, not enough silverware for the 4 of us, and one of the tvs was missing the remote. After contacting the front desk, everything was taken care of (except for the tv remote) - but two late to be of any benefit to us. Free breakfast was ok. But all of the staff and mgmt we met were very polite! The only parking at the hotel is valet parking in the underground garage - $45/day plus tip. There is also a surface lot across the street. Not sure if it is generally available and I didn’t check the price.

Great historic hotel. Beautiful inside with shops in the middle. Huge room with full kitchen and over 500 sq ft. Overall a really good place to stay and easy walk over to Rocket mortgage FieldHouse for concert. Valet parking ended being $47 even without the tip. I felt that was steep.

Cons: I did not realize that valet parking was not guaranteed. We did not want to risk paying $40, utilizing the in/out privileges and losing our spot, so we parked in the lot next door for considerably less expense.

I stay here most of the times that I am in Cleveland. Very nice hotel overall. Close to a ton a fun things. My only issue is if they put you in Euclid Tower, you need to walk all the way to the lobby to exit or reenter. Please put a key card access on the stairwell on the Euclid end of the arcade!

This hotel is sadly in need of updates. It is worn out, but it was also just not well cleaned. The kitchen ceilings were stained with food, the bedding and carpeting were stained, there was a dirty bandage on the door frame of our bathroom, and the tub was unclean. They also gave away our room before we arrived at 5 pm. They did end up giving us two smaller rooms across the hall from each other. The hotel lobby and breakfast were updated and clean.

The room was large and had enough space for our family. However, the pull out mattress was so beat up you couldn't sleep on it. I had to put the couch cushions under it just for us to use it. The bathroom was terrible! It was so small and run down and the sink was outside the toilet and shower. So you'd have to touch the door handle after going before you could wash your hands! We didn't have enough towels for all of us so I called to ask them to bring more. Housekeeping didn't come at all unless I called to have them come take our garbage and bring more towels.

Sadly, our experience was horrible. At over $500 per night, I was disgusted. The room was filthy, centipede on the wall next to the bed, excessive mold in the bathroom, no remote for one of the tvs, fitted sheet wouldn’t stay on the bed, stained sheets, no sheets or pillows for the pull out couch (later got bedding but was never able to get pillows as the front desk said they had no extras), extremely creaky floors, and hair dryer from the 1980’s. The building has a lot of character but it was filthy, smelled like raw sewage, and the only elevator wasn’t working (we were on the 5th floor). The hotel also felt like a fire trap as it was a maze of hallways and corridors to our room in the far tower. Customers were lined up at the front desk complaining and demanding refunds. The hotel was sold out yet they had one person at the front desk and no additional staff to address issues (like the lack of bedding). So what was good - the morning staff in the dining room were beyond exceptional and the location was very convenient to the stadium and great restaurants. Marriott - this hotel warrants closure for a deep cleaning and remodel.

The check in process was speedy and the staff was friendly and kind. I was very dissatisfied with the cleaniness of my room. I was getting dressed for an event and I noticed that there waa blood that was splatered on the wall and the wall trim i a fee different spots. I very disgusted with that as I don't want to see someone else's bodily fluids in a room that I'm staying in. It made me question the linen, carpet and everything else. There was a lot of mold in the shower which is a hazard to my health as I have a severe allery to mold and it triggered some breathing issues while in the shower. There was a piece of metal that was broken from the handle in the shower that I scratched my elbow on while taking a shower. Lastly, there was something on the wall that resmbled a booger. So overall the room was gross. I wanted to discuss this with the front desk to request a refund but I was pressed for time and the line at checkout was a little lengthy. The location was perfect in proximity to the venue of my event so, that was a plus. I would stay here again If and only if the facility undergoes a thorough cleaning. I did take photos of these issues and would love to be able to send them so these issues can be addressed. If someone could please follow up with a link or an email that I can send them that would be awesome.

The tub has stains on the floor and needs to be reglazed. Instead, a huge peeling sticker was placed over it. Mold was forming in the caulk around the tub. The wallpaper surrounding the sink was peeling.

The front desk staff was extremely nice and helpful. The breakfast staff was extremely courteous and attentive. The facility itself has wear and tear, but I could accept that. It is located in prime area - walking distance to many major attractions (which was such a bonus) - and I imagine the hotel is well utilized. The problem is that the rooms were FILTHY. The tub was dirty, the baseboards were disgusting, stained carpet, stained sofa bed cushions….. I could go on and on. We took plenty pictures and are happy to share with Mgmt if it would make a difference. And to be clear, we switched from one room to another and while the 2nd room was better, it was dirty as well. So, I do not believe that the problem can be attributed to one team member. I believe it is an overall issue at the hotel. Thankfully we were only there for one night.

The smell of smoke throughout the entire hotel was awful. I checked in late at night so there was no way for me to switch hotels and they would not refund my money so I could switch- so I stayed. The floors were dirty and the hotel needs an entire renovation. The staff was friendly and it was in a great location. But very disappointed!

Walkable to everything downtown. Staff isn’t very welcoming. Room was spacious but had a musty smell, pullout sofa was broke, dirty and no linens in room for it…so we had to call desk to get a rollaway and linens @ 11 at night. The blanket given for rollaway was a nasty feeling, my son wouldn’t even use it. There were dishes left in the dishwasher and the shower wasn't very clean.

Chose this hotel due to close proximity to Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. When we arrived our air wasn’t working but they got it fixed before we were back. Ultra comfortable bed, quiet room but this is an old building in downtown area so tiny bathrooms, so that kept me from giving 5 stars. Also pretty pricy but saved lots of parking fees so that helped.

The two-bedroom suite was fantastic! Absolutely giant and nice open floor plan. The kitchen was perfect and we had a great, comfortable stay. Definitely the best value for space in the area!

The hotel's location is convenient and the staff is friendly, particularly the staff in the dining area. I won't stay here again. The lobby was clean, but my room was in need of repair and attention. Large brown spot on the ceiling, part of the ceiling area separating from the top. The place is old and needs renovation. I will note that the cleanliness of the room was not a problem. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. I was only there for two nights and was out and about for most of the day. In my mind, it wasn't worth moving rooms for that short of a stay.

The room was large and had enough space for our family. However, the pull out mattress was so beat up you couldn't sleep on it. I had to put the couch cushions under it just for us to use it. The bathroom was terrible! It was so small and run down and the sink was outside the toilet and shower. So you'd have to touch the door handle after going before you could wash your hands! We didn't have enough towels for all of us so I called to ask them to bring more. Housekeeping didn't come at all unless I called to have them come take our garbage and bring more towels.

This was our second time staying here. Our first time we were in the front building. Our room was nice but could use some updates and better cleaning. Our second time staying, our room was in the back tower and that was quite a walk after the baseball game and drinking. It was also a bit creepy and weird walking through the arcade at night. We had broken lamp shades, stains on the carpet and more… overall not worth the price. Breakfast was a nice option to have! Since then we have stayed at a few other locations in the area and sadly we would rather stay elsewhere.

I paid for a king size bed. Got a queen. The air conditioning would not cool the room off. It was 75 the whole time. No windows to open either. There was a “stain” on the chair that was quite obvious…. Did not dare to sit on it. Yuck! The Valet parking was full in 30 min. So by the time we got thru the line there was no service. Had to find a place to park on our own! Booked two rooms. And the other room had stairs INSIDE the room to access the bedroom. The other couple was over the age of 65. NOT Conducive to those with health issues. Full booked so no options!

All the staff were so very friendly throughout the facility from check in to cleaning to dietary staff and valet service!! Your facility should be proud of that!! I would like to take time to write a very kind review of hostess Asia (not sure her spelling of her name) she checked us in and was so pleasant and offered us a upgrade which was so nice of her and the room was perfect for us- thank you again Asia!!!

Long line of people with rooms not ready. It would have been nice to offer some bottles of water, snack, complimentary drink .. something. People were being rude to the staff - i felt bad for the staff. BUT - like i said - maybe offering a tiny bit of compensation would have helped. Our evening didn’t go as planned due to the delay of the room not being ready. Valet took over THIRTY minutes the next morning to get our car. We had a long drive and wanted to get on the road.

Walked in to lobby just after 4pm to about 5 other patrons, myself included whose rooms weren’t ready for check-in. No apology from the manager standing there while the other person was apologizing at least. Maybe offer a drink or something to ease the pain of sitting around waiting. I work in retail. I get things happen. You at least should apologize and try to accommodate. I’m not asking for a refund. I’m not asking for a discount. I’m not asking for anything. It’s just a nice gesture when a 4pm check-in still isn’t enough time for them. I hope the people before me weren’t waiting long.

We had to wait to check in an hour after check in time because the rooms were still not clean. We stayed two nights and housekeeping never came to clean our room. Although the staff that was there was very nice and accommodating.They need to hire more people that actually show up and I know that can be difficult and times.

Check in took over 3 hours. Not one person apologized they had people waiting for hours to get rooms. Definitely not an acceptable way to do business. The price was high especially to have to wait that long we missed reservations. Very disappointed. Will not return and do not recommend.

Very well done renovation of old 19th century property. Close to some of the best spots in downtown Cleveland. Easy public parking across the street, lots of food options, and full kitchen if you wanna stock a fridge yourself for a few days or longer. The population of homeless and or panhandling beggars in the area can be a bit overwhelming, and a little scary.

Went to a concert at Rocket Mortgage arena. This hotel has a walkway directly to it and is only maybe a 5 minute walk. The valet parking was super convenient, a little pricey, but not terribly outrageous. Hotel was clean and the staff were helpful and friendly.

The property overall was very dirty including our room. Just so we're clear the property is old and that's okay, being dirty is not okay. The lady at the front desk was very polite during check in. There is a bar at the facility but it wasn't open. I'm not sure why you wouldn't have that open when you have a cavs game going on across the street. Very disappointing stay.

Loved the downtown atmosphere. Busy area but not loud. Conveniently located within walking distance to Progressive Field baseball stadium. It had lots of unique shops located within the hotel, however they closed fairly early. Little pricy, especially after paying over $100 for 2 nights of valet parking. Not sure if there were any other parking options. Only other con was hot breakfast items not being available. Breakfast is available from 7am-10am. My family didn't make it there until about 9:45 and other than make your own waffle, all hot item pans were empty. There were about 10 other people that came in after us wanting hot items as well. Staff courteously explained hot items took one hour to prepare. I felt they should have made enough to ensure items were still available up until the breakfast time advertised. Overall, it was a nice stay.

Or I guess we could leave our belongings with the valet and go find parking ourselves and walk back. And since a ball game had just ended all the lots were full. So we turned around and drove back home. Not the way we intended to spend our 25th anniversary weekend. We don’t feel that the parking situation was made clear at all. And we have never stayed anywhere that didn’t have parking.

Our room under my inspections of sanitizing everything, we found blood on our sheets and then when I called downstairs to have them replaced, they wouldn’t do it for us. They threw them on my bed so we had to do it when we got back to the hotel. And it was a very busy weekend and I was not in the mood for it. They told me since I booked under a third-party that they couldn’t do anything for me except for give me 10,000 points for Bonvoy. Also once we got fresh towels there was blood on that washcloth as well and also holes in the sheets.
