Good place to stay. It is right on the Lake, and they rent kayaks if you are interested. Room was mostly clean, and breakfast was better than your standard hotel breakfast. Would stay here again if in the area

Nice hotel. Super nice employees. But listing states it has a hot tub which is why we picked this one to stay at. When we arrived there was no hot tub.

I loved where the Lodge is. Very beautiful area. The hot tub was broken and quite unsafe looking although they did have caution tape. The microwave in my room did not heat the food. I did go on a prime weekend, but I feel the total cost was too inflated

Wonderful weekend with lake views from our room, comfortable beds, tasty breakfast also. Easy parking, and went fishing right on the property.

I've stayed three different times and in three different rooms and all the rooms looked gross, had stains on the sheets (and the sheets that they replaced those with) and other people's hair on the floor like nothing was vacuumed or swept. Laundry requires quarters but the staff doesn't have a way to give you change so you've got to bring your own or go get $5 in quarters. The elliptical machine in the gym sounds like it's about to break. The bacon with the morning breakfast this paper thin and taste like cardboard.

Absolutely a fabulous stay and will return. Front desk ladies were kind and courteous. The entire location was super clean. Breakfast was outstanding. Included eggs, grits, sausage, sausage gravy with biscuits, 3 cereals, muffins, danishes, variety of fresh fruit, bagels with cream cheese and yogurt. Room was clean and comfy. Bed was a little firmer than I like but nice none the less. Property was beautiful with a pool, sauna, gym, and kayaks. It had rained all day, so the lake was a little merky, but the property was lush, and green. Town is cute too. Plenty of boating opportunities with a marina right up the road. Book this location. You won't regret it. I'd add photos but it won't open.

The breakfast was advertised as full, it was not, due to covid still in 2023? did not like that wa misinformed. the bathroom had mold around the edge, the sink was very slow when emptying. the AC did not work correctly, the pool and hot tub. were closed. not ready to open. Very disappointed. As it was my 65th birthday, reserved a room with a water view, and was not given one, we were given a room on the first floor facing the parking lot

Swimming pool and lake was great. Property was well kept.

Friendly staff .. loved the kayak rentals. Water was not working and stopped while my Daughter was covered in soap in the shower. But maintenance came and got that fixed and she didn't charge me for the late check out due to the Situation. Other than that. It was 5stars.

This room was very dirty the bathroom was dirty. The table had hundreds of ants on it. I slept in the bed all night with ants in the bed. This room 303 should be close and nobody else should be able to use this room until it has been fumigated, thank you

Found a cockroach in my bathroom....they did absolutely nothing after the nice housekeeping manager told the front desk.

I booked this property hoping for AC and a hot shower after Hurricane Helene destroyed our small town. Upon arrival to our room, the toilet was still dirty, hair in the shower, and what appeared to be drops of blood on the floors. I went to the front desk and requested a refund. Someone went to clean the room while I was speaking with the front desk. However, when I got back to the room to pack our belongings, it appeared that she had only flushed the toilet and mopped the floor. There was still hair all over the shower. Very disappointed.

This was a disgusting hotel. The entirety of the room was dirty. The bed had horrible stains. Smelled bad. The bathroom was dirty. Trash on the floor. There was hair on the bathroom floor from previous stays. The toilet was dirty, hadn’t been cleaned recently. It was incredibly disappointing and we had to go to another hotel because it was so gross.

Everything was very clean and staff very helpful and friendly.

Our room was very dirty. The tub/shower had black mold all over the grout and tile. The shower curtain looked dingy as well. It was not worth the $183 we spent and we felt very unclean when we left.

We arrived at 6pm after a full day drive. The room had not been cleaned well. The furniture had a layer of dust. The mirrors had spots sprayed on it from a previous guest the carpet had pieces of tissue in a few places - indicated it hadn’t been vacuumed. The AC wasn’t removing the humidity. By the second night we both had puffy eyes from sleeping in these conditions. The hotel rents to construction workers who were outside smoking and hanging around. We left a day early and hope to be credited for the loss. I don’t recommend single females with allergies and sensitivity to bad ac and high humid conditions stay here.

Bathroom was filthy, hair all over the place. Brown moldy looking stuff in the toilet and on shower floor. Sink had water all around it like someone had taken a hobo bath in the sink right before we checked in. Floor was sticky, lord only knows what that was from, we used sandals in the shower and while using the restroom, I had to hover over the toilet like I was in a porter pot at a concert for fear of contracting a disease. Bed was absolutely disgusting, brown, black, and what looked like body fluid stains on sheets and blanket, hair all over the bed like Chewbacca from Star Wars slept there the night before. We slept on towels. There was a skid stained pair of dirty underwear next to the "desk" area, I can only assume from a previous guest. Smelled like a New York City subway. We will never stay here again, id rather sleep in a cardboard box under an overpass.

Property was not clean. We did not stay after checking in. Looked like somebody blew their nose on the outside of our door and something brown on floor in our bathroom. We advised the front desk and were told they were working on the cleanliness of the property.

Staff here are extremely friendly and helpful, especially Kristy the AGM. Location is awesome. Facility is a bit run down but they have a full plan in place for major Reno’s. Wifi not very reliable.

The bathrooms need renovating and the windows that look out to the lake are filmy and you cant really see out well.

The room was nice and clean and the perfect layout for our family of 4. We had 3 beds with the sofa bed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were able to check in early before going to the Georgia Tennessee game in Athens.

The place is nice and I really liked the breakfast but you can listen every noise inside your room.

Terrible breakfast. No pool or hot tub. Internet was out much of the time.

The water pressure is almost non existent. The tub was narrow and slippery. The sheets came off the bed from simply sitting on the bed. The air conditioner did not cool the room. The coffee maker did not work.

Lovely location! Hotel seemed to have recently repainted rooms but the bathrooms were not updated. The room refrigerator was noisy and all of us are very congested from the air conditioner.

Came for the night to attend a wedding. Clerk was nice enough to let us check in a little early so we would have time to get ready. We stayed in room 127. I had a few minutes and decided to take a quick nap.I had just dozed off when a slamming door woke me. Then the door kept slamming. Finally gave up on my nap. While we were getting ready for our evening, we kept hearing slamming doors. It was mid-afternoon so I just ignored it. Couldn't really figure it out though. Room was clean. Bathroom could use an update but was clean. We got back to the room about 10 and got ready for bed. My wife said the water pressure in the shower was lacking. Then the door slamming started again. I couldn't figure out why other guest were going in and out of their rooms so much and slamming doors. It got so bad I finally got out of bed to see what was going on. No one was in the hall. The next morning I got up and went to get a cup of coffee. It was them I realized the area for breakfast was right next to our room. I think the door slamming was employees going in and out of this area for whatever reason. Probaly wouldn't have been an issue if our room wasn't right next to this area but it sure was disruptive. I got in the shower. Water started good then faded away, just like my wife described. I was standing against the front wall of the shower just to be under the spray, or lack of spray. All employees were super nice. A little over priced for what it is.

I made a mistake with my arrival date. Front desk was the best to help me. Shelly and Holly were both awesome. Rooms were very clean. I appreciated the white comforter so you could see it was clean. Not like those hotels that have those multiply color ones that hide everything. Grounds were beautiful. Has docks for boaters. Grills . Swings. Pool . Sauna. Just a great place to stay. Also a great free breakfast in the morning. Cant say enough about this place.

Everything was great! Shelly (at front desk) remembered us from previous stays. She always makes us feel welcome and greets us with a smile. My family stays at this location each time we have to take our son to Rock Eagle. The housekeeping staff members that we met in the hallway were also courteous. We will definitely continue to book with this location!

Perhaps our reservation was not typical — 10 gentlemen sharing 5 rooms. Check-in was chaotic — attendant didn’t know exactly how to register two people in each room and whether room charge could be split. Told us to discuss with individual at check-out (four days later). Attendant at check-out figured-out what to do, but he was definitely not quite sure what to do. Although reservations were all for 4 days, one room got a call after day one questioning why they hadn’t checked-out that morning, as hotel records showed them as hai g a single day reservation. Televisions in at least one room did not work. And one major channel (CBS) did not work on any of the TVs. Soap provided was horrible — one small block of soap. Went to drug store and purchased soap. At check-out, front desk was not able to print a final detailed bill. Some rooms received daily cleaning, some didn’t.

Staff is friendly and efficient. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Property is well maintained.

FThe front desk staff experienced a high workload, resulting in delays and frustration for both employees and guests. Despite the challenging circumstances, they maintained a professional demeanor and successfully navigated through the situation.

Good old fashioned southern hospitality. A warm welcome and introduction to the facilities has more than prepared us for our stay at this beautiful resort.

They have a firm check-in policy. Absolutely no one can check in before 3. We came to town for a family member passing. We stopped at the hotel at 130pm for my 10 month old son to take a nap before seeing family. They would not let us check-in, at all. So instead of being sympathetic or providing any sort of help, we spent additional time in the car driving back and forth from family to the drab hotel. I understand policies are in place for a reason but the provided reason was that the maids would not be done until 3... I highly doubt every room was occupied or not ready. We will not be using this hotel again.

I requested a late checkout (1 Hr). Some housekeeping staff interjected and said to the desk clerk "we have a lot of checkouts we can\'t do that!" Very rude. There were maybe 10-12 cars in the parking lot. This was my second stay at your hotel in 2024. I will NOT be back!!

The hotel location does not permit any food deliveries to the hotel or to your room. If you happen to get sick and are unable to leave your room, or if you're simply tired and wish to have food delivered while you shower, this is not the place for you! They absolutely refuse to allow any food delivery drivers to bring food inside. Additionally, the sheets are quite coarse and scratchy, and the padding on the bed becomes lumpy as you toss and turn during the night. On a positive note, the staff is very nice, and the view of the river is excellent. However, I found the afternoon front desk staff member to be unhelpful, despite appearing friendly. My interactions with her left me feeling like she didn't care about the customers. Overall, I will not be staying here again!

The hotel is in a great location. It provides a variety of activities to relax after a long day of work.

This is a clean, quiet hotel with access to Lake Oconee. We only stayed overnight, but hope to return for a longer stay so we can enjoy the lake.

Perfect place to rest and recharge on a family trip. Clean and quiet in a beautiful lakefront location. Every staff member we met was was and welcoming. We will return when in the area.

After working hard for months, took a couple trip to the lake. Very peaceful, and quiet. Great location near multiple restaurants but most importantly you can walk from your room to the docks. I'm definitely booking a trip back up there. I need to get away from the noisy city.

Breakfast not great

Let me start by saying that the staff was fantastic! Friendly, helpful, and willing to go the extra mile. They were a bright spot in an otherwise unpleasant stay. Our bathroom sink was completely clogged, the toilet was stained, and the bathtub/shower had visible grime. Breakfast options were extremely limited. The milk, though within its expiration date, was spoiled and had huge chunks in it. We couldn't get out of there fast enough.

The hotel and room were great. The icing on the cake is Shelly in reception. What a lovely wonderful woman. Very friendly and very helpful. The only problem was breakfast. Or lack of. No coffee in breakfast room, waffle maker was broken and very little substitutions. Dining room looked tired.

Room never cleaned, no breakfast Monday, poor breakfast Sat & Sunday.

Great breakfast. Friendly staff and rooms were nice

This place was a nice stay. The lady that greeted us was fantastic. The outdoor area is fantastic. The view was beautiful. However, the rooms need updating or repair or TLC...something. The toilet lever was broken and you had to hold it a special way to make it work. The second AC unit in our family suite not only quit blowing cold, but was billowing out so much hot air the room became unbearable. The unit would not shut off so at 2 in the morning half our party was moved to another room (thankfully). The pull out beds bedding was not washed and left wadded in the drawer which makes you wonder how thoroughly the room was cleaned and the bed itself has seen better days. And the last straw, we came down to breakfast, which we were told started at 6am. All lights dimmed, no signs and when the person finally came to the counter he said um yeah its gonna be late. The breakfast lady isn't here yet. I said what time do you expect her? He stated im not sure maybe 730? We will be gone by then so the extra expense is frustrating. This place has perks, but the negatives are definitely outweighing them.

I stopped here on part of a larger road trip. The room was an excellent size for our family of five. The hotel employees in the evening were excellent the ones in the morning not so much. The breakfast was canceled because of some reason that they didn't care to share with us. There was no apology for the inconvenience.
