Air conditioner kept kicking off. Tripping a circuit breaker and had to be turned off at office then cycle to turn on. Did this many times - finally down to one unit at night. Also the gas grills advertised were just charcoal types- not nice propane as in ad photos. Pool was closed several times until late morning and not really clean.

Great hotel right across from the beach! Very friendly, professional & helpful staff. The room was exceptionally clean & recently renovated. Very good full breakfast. Pet friendly with large areas of grass for pets.

Overall were satified, nice Pool Area, easy access to the beach. Unfortunately there Was problems with using the laundry facility, help desk was not able to to help put so much with that. Also TV in the bedroom was difficult to wrach from the bed. Snack items in hotel were overpriced.

The suite was very good for our family, and the service was good. The pool is nice and the proximity to the beach is great. The breakfast was fine. Nothing fancy but enough. Other guests did smoke in the pool area and that was unpleasant with kids. Nothing got too rowdy but a lot of drinking at the pool while we were there.

We enjoyed our stay at The Seafarer Inn. Our suite was a good size for our family of 6. The pool was our favorite. So much nice seating around the pool and it was super kid-friendly.

1. The beds were incredibly comfortable. 2. The rooms were not cleaned unless you requested it early in the morning. Same with simple things like taking trash out or towels or anything. So nothing is done unless you request it. 3. The bathroom is in rough shape. Shower was peeling, sink faucet barely flowing. 4. Staff is incredibly nice but meaningfully understaffed.

We had stayed in a one bedroom suite a few years ago and loved it so we expected a similar experience. WRONG. They were short staffed, the place was disgusting. The carpet was stained, the original freezer was iced almost beyond use, the chair cushion has 1/2” dust and dirt, the furniture needs replacing, elevator rusted and dirty and trash left outside a room was torn apart overnight. I got the itchy just being there. Had my husband not been sick (bad cold) and we hadn’t traveled 8 hours with a dog, I would have left. A total waste of a reward night. The only pro was the staff was doing the very best they could with barely any help.

If cleanliness is important to you then this isn’t the location for you. Hair and trash was all over the floors when we arrived. Ask them to clean it while we were gone during the day and the said they would. They did not. We asked for a broom that night and cleaned some. We will not stay here again. Great location to the beach and good pool. I rather pay more for somewhere clean.

The room was dirty, the property was dirty. We complained to the front desk our first morning about condition of room. The desk clerk called housekeeping and said it would be taken care of. We left for the day. When we came back the only thing they did was give us more towels which we had not requested. Walls were stained in kitchen, stuff had run down the walls, kitchen drawers had used plastic silver ware in them and old food. Bathroom toilet paper holder was in the entertainment center, Bedroom drawers had used Kleenex and papers. Floors were dirty, feet black walking on them. Kitchen floor under table had old food crumbs. Would never go back. Can't believe it was rated even above 1 star. This is the first bad review I have ever given.

Internet connection for televisions was spotty at best. There was a gross stain on the couch and mold growing behind the toilet and in the shower. The kitchen wasn’t very well stocked ( no bottle opener and only six glasses. My wife had to ask the front desk for several linens and also to let them know about the mold and grime in the bathroom. We would not stay here again.

Checked in and out room was dirty and ceiling fan was broken- changed rooms (they did upgrade us to a suite) it felt like all the cleaning was a vacuum change the sheets and wipe down the toilet, sinks, counters. Dishes were still in the dishwasher from last person. The location was the only thing that was nice.

Our second time staying there. We have used it to break up our driving travel. Of course you can’t beat Jekyll Island and the price here is really affordable. It’s a quick walk across the street to the beach! Staff is so pleasant too. Rooms are really big. It’s just an older beach hotel that’s been updated nicely. We will be back!

For the price and location on a great island it was a great fit for our family. The carpet in the bathroom had a bit of an odor to it as the days went on, the front desk often had no one there or a long line and some workers were way more helpful than others, check in was interesting. The room had some great things and some sttange things. The shower hardware needs updated, had issues with syopper, and were warmed about taking hot showers that might set off sensitive fire alarms yet if you didnt turn it to hot you got no water pressure. The room is very spacious and again location couldnt be beat if you are looking for a quiet beach option. The breakfast was pretty good also. Daughter enjoyed the pool and there are plenty of spray off stations returning from beach or entering pool.

Great place for the price. Terrible WiFi. Cross the street and you have beach access. Beautifully updated bathroom - walk-in shower with two shower heads - yet no place except the floor to set the bar of soap!!!

The hotel was nice enough just make sure your room isn't over the breakfast area or it's so noisy that sleeping past 6ish is impossible with all the banging. Other than that it was fine.

Room was much nicer than I expected, large, clean, well kept. Need new bed pillows. Sofa and sofa pillows smelled musty. A/C was hard to control either too cold or too warm. All in all though a very nice place to stay. Nice breakfast.

Our stay was reasonable although our ceiling fan didn't work and the A/C made a funny noise all night long. These things are inconveniences but not that big a deal. My real issue is that we brought our dog and had two 1 night stays (lay overs on a long drive) but were charged for 3 pet charges. I tried several times to bring the error to their attention and was only met with arguments that their "folio" showed credits. The fact is no credits made it from their folio to my credit card, only the charges. When presented with this information, they continued to argue that they were right and I was wrong. At the end fo the day, the bank statement is the true record, not their computer system. If it were my business, I would have just given me back $40 even if I didn't think it was due. Customer service is pretty important and now they've become a place I will not stay nor recommend!

Staff on night shift was struggling. I had reserved a suite and they gave me a suite (room 327) that smelled like water damage, had an old smoke detector hanging 2 feet out of the ceiling, had a new smoke dector beeping and saying low battery, and had an empty slim Jim wrapper on the floor right in the middle of the closet. Couldn't do it... I went back and asked for another room. They gave me room 322. When I opened that room there were 3 people standing in the room. They gave me a room that was not available! The people in the room stated that wasn't the first time it happened to them. On the 3rd attempt they got it right, but I was subjected to the staffer who was trying to help me get all kissy kissy with her boyfriend on the elevator. The next day same staffer informed me that she was sorry, gave me some excuses, and told me she put something in the system so I could get a partial refund. Expedia tried to get the refund but they were unable to get in touch with management after trying for several days. This hotel should definitely do random drug test on their employees.

We where on the second floor which was no big deal but on our second day there the elevator broke my dad is older and doesn't do the steps well there was no bedding for the pull out bed asked for some before 10pm didn't receive anything till after midnight we tried to go back down and see if we could get bedding around 11pm and the lobby was locked and nobody could be found and when the guy finally brought the bedding after midnight he was pounding on the door like he was the fbi everyone was sound asleep it terrified everyone that was totally unacceptable when i wanted to talk to the manager the next morning i was told they where on vacation which is fine they said the regional manager was there and they would call me asap and righ the situation i said that was fine that never happened that evening i went in and asked to speak with the manager and they said he was busy he would call i said he needs to call me i have to speak with him i to this day still have not been able to talk with a manager i am so disappointed in this hotel have stayed here many times in the past and this was by far the worst i can't say i would stay here again

We went to Jekyll Island to bike. This is an excellent location to bike all around the island from. It has beach access. It was clean and comfortable. We went to St. Simons for dinner and that was an easy beautiful drive. If I go back to ride or play golf, I would definitely stay here again.

It is very affordable for Jekyll these days. Clean pool and you can walk to the beach. The mattress on the bed was very much above expectation. The furniture and up keep of the room was looking worn and dated. The breakfast is FREE and very ample, but they need cheese to offer with eggs and cream cheese to offer with bagel. Check-in was slow and even a period of waiting while no attendants were at the desk.

Ms. Jolene was amazing as always!! Glad to see that she is still there!! Her customer service is impeccable! She truly cares for her guests! Tara and Tequila were great as well!! The housekeeping staffing has improved so much since our last stay! Everything was clean and much better maintained than our last visit! We love the location and Ms Jolene- we had to give it another chance, and we are super glad we did!!!! My only and MINOR complaint is the variety of the breakfast. The breakfast staff didn’t seem to really care. Biscuits and gravy and watery eggs a few days in a row gets old quick! When asking for waffles - the woman stated she had no idea what happen to their machine. All the stuff was out for waffles. 1/2 the machine was on the counter. To me it just seemed like she didn’t want to bother to clean it.

Nice little place to stay for a family. Breakfast left a lot to be desired as it was biscuits and gravy, waffles and cereal. No fruit and no yogurt or healthier options. The place needs a little updating but we found it to be charming and would stay again with a larger group.

The suite was very good for our family, and the service was good. The pool is nice and the proximity to the beach is great. The breakfast was fine. Nothing fancy but enough. Other guests did smoke in the pool area and that was unpleasant with kids. Nothing got too rowdy but a lot of drinking at the pool while we were there.

It was a great stay over all. I would stay again for sure with the family of 8. The room was large everyone was comfy and had their own space. The property and pool was very nice & clean, family friendly. The free breakfast was very nice and plenty of options. The staff done a nice job replenishing food as needed. There was a few minor things, such as sofa bed didn't have a bag for pillow & blanket. We kindly asked front desk she was kind even brought it to our room. Housekeeping could have slowed down a bit, when opening the sofa bed there was a pile of Cheetos under it from prior guest, back missing off one of the TV remotes battery (not really a big deal) but the rest of the room was nicely clean. Oh and the kitchen had a nice coffee pot with all needed accessories (cups, sugar & cream packets) but no coffee, that could have possibly been overlooked by housekeeping as well due to it being stored under the kitchen cabinet. Luckily I was able to get a fresh cup from breakfast area.

We enjoyed our stay at The Seafarer Inn. Our suite was a good size for our family of 6. The pool was our favorite. So much nice seating around the pool and it was super kid-friendly.

We rented the 2 bedroom suite for my daughter's 18th b-day trip. It actually exceed our expectations. It had a full size kitchen, living room with sectional couch with a pull out bed & 2 full bedrooms. We were right by the pool & literally less than a 4 minute walk to the beach on a paved pathway! Nice big room that serves free complimentary breakfast. The ONLY small complaint I may have is the fans in the bedrooms made this loud weird noise while they were on even though the fans looked brand new. Yes; we absolutely could've just turned them off. Regardless we would definitely stay here again!
