Hampton Inn Southlake

Overall the stay was very pleasant, staff was friendly and helpful upon checking in parking lot well lit, 2 elevators but 1 was broken ,working one was very slow going up and down !! Our room was clean except for poop stains in toilet bowel and underneath toilet seat we called front desk they sent someone up to re clean bathroom .The breakfast was decent they served could’ve had a better variety of food you would think A hotel that big should have had 2 waffle makers but no ma’am! But what they had was a mini waffle maker and a line full of people waiting to use that one mini waffle maker smh! But the breakfast crew workers was friendly and did a good job with what they had. Hampton needs to do better with the following breakfast set up ,making sure that both elevators are working properly at all times and definitely do a better job with bathroom cleaning for the price they charge to stay there per night . Oh yeah we had to get our room keys re did twice the 4 days we stayed there because the door battery was dead maintenance did come up and repaired that as well . Location of hotel is in very good spot right down the street is The South Lake Mall , directly across the street from hotel is another small outlet mall with a Burlington and TJ Max.Hopefully Hampton Corporate will get their act together and address these small defects to become a 4-5 star hotel because it’s really a nice hotel if they really stepped up on those issues I stated .The location and Staff was Great .

The staff was very kind, the rooms were super clean, the shower was amazing with great water pressure, the beds were comfortable with a nice clean smell, the parking lot was super well lit. We stayed here due to a last minute circumstance and it was perfect and the price was very good too! There is a mall not too far away and an TJ Max walkable across the street. I would definitely stay here again!

The parking area was well lit and very clean. The rooms were clean if you were not near the pets allowed rooms because your room smelled like dogs, and the staff was glad to give you another room tovyourvl satisfaction l

The front doors didn’t open properly The elevator made a strange sound each time we used it The shower didn’t work properly The breakfast was half an hour late We will not be staying there again We travel yearly through there The whole place needs upgrading

The staff was great, the rooms were ok. Water didn’t turn cold, the pool was disgusting and after speaking with staff several tomes my family was not able to swim our entire time there.

Best hotel I’ve stayed at in that area of Georgia. The staff is amazing and you’re about 15 minutes from most things. The breakfast was delicious and it’s walking distance to a few useful stores. The only downside was I found a bug in my room but was quickly given a new one & the pool was out of service.

Property Was Pretty Well Kept & Clean! Staff Were Mostly Nice & Accomodating. One Of The Credit Card Machines At Front Desk Needs Replacing Asap!! Was Told Its Been Unserviceable For Lil While Now,& New One Is On Back Order! Stayed There A Year Ago, & Remember There Was Another Issue Concernin An Elevator. Was Told Parts To Fix Were On Back Order For A While At That Point As Well! Moral Of The Story, Hearing The Answer Of " Its On Back Order, Gets To Be Old At A Certain Point!! Results Are The Goal, Not Excuses.

Staff was very courteous my king room suite was in excellent condition. My stay was very relaxing noise free breakfast was great but not enough waffle makers to accommodate the many ppl that waited in line for a waffle, but it was worth the wait though . Location of hotel is top tier the mall is less than a mile down the road and there is a small outlet across the street from hotel. Lots of places within the area to grab a bite of food of any sort . This is my 3rd stay here at this hotel each stay gets better and better. I highly recommend this hotel it also has a very well lit parking lot that makes it easy to walk safely to and from your vehicle to hotel room .

Had a great stay! The staff was AMAZING & they made my stay very comfortable. I saw a questionable bug go across my TV and they didn’t hesitate to switch me to a new room. I stayed a couple nights and every time the room smelled great. I was bummed the pool was completely out of service but loved the breakfast options, staff and location.

We were towing an rv and found a space easily to park. We were able to walk to a Mexican restaurant.

Found 3 roaches in the room 233 on Sep 16. 2 in the bathroom and 1 in the cabinet.

Upon entering the hotel it smelled musty and wet. Our room was on the 1st floor and it felt like a room that they covered up with fresh paint and new furniture but didn’t actually clean it. My husband took a shower and the shower basin was level to the floor so there was water flowing all the way to the toilet. Shower was not pitched right for the water to go down the drain. It was basically a flood in the bathroom. Who wants to sit on a toilet with their feet in 2 inches of water. We ended up leaving the hotel before midnight. We could not sleep and it just felt gross.

Had a 3 night stay they didn’t clean the room any or bring fresh towels and wash clothes. They say that breakfast starts at 6am it’s normal 6:15-6:30 before it’s actually ready. I have to be at work by 6:45 so if I waited it would make me late

Complimentary breakfast was good but the room had roaches all over it.

Floor was sticky, some disrepair, noisy, no hot water, many items missing during breakfast.

This hotel is roach infested. While in the bathroom there were 3 small baby roaches crawling on the floor. When I entered the main room area there was a large roach crawling on the ceiling (picture added). Needless to say I checked-in and checked-out. I’ll surely be requesting a refund for my non-stay.

We found roaches and ants in our room..bc i paid with cash i have yet to receive a refund.( did receive our $50dep).bc of it already been deposited....ladies atfront wer nice but the manager hasnt contacted us ...offering another room is crazy bc the insects will travel..very disappointing

The only positive thing I can say about this property is that the staff was friendly. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the hotel was a major issue. The carpets in the hallways and inside our room were extremely dirty. Our bathroom was especially dirty; it had brown stains in the shower and the sink was clearly not cleaned. We only stayed one night, so we didn’t raise a big fuss. Thankfully, I had Lysol in the car, so we cleaned the bathroom ourselves and kept our shoes on the entire time. This was actually our second time staying here. After our first visit, we promised we wouldn’t return. But this time, the Holiday Inn was fully booked, and we didn’t want to spend a lot of money for just a few hours of rest. We also didn’t want to risk staying somewhere worse, so we gave this place another shot. Lesson learned, we will be booking the Holiday Inn well in advance next time.

Roaches in room; saw 6-7 so assume it’s infested.

Hotel staff and employees were great. Unfortunately they were not able to control the noise and disruptions that occurred on floor 3 until after midnight. Unacceptable

I loved this property and it had accessible shopping centers that were walkable as well as dining. The area was nice and quiet as well as safe.. The area was nice and quiet as well as safe. The hotel parking was very easy and convenient. The staff was very kind and helpful. Check-in and checks out were easy and convenient. The room was clean and spacious although the walls were a little bit thin so you could hear what was going on outside your doors.

The shower head is really the only major issue I have. The water was all over the floor. Also the rooms could use an upgrade but it was very clean and the staff was really nice

Positive: Great staff, decently clean rooms, pretty good breakfast. Negative: We were given king sofa-bed when we reserved two queen beds. Also, both rooms needed a lot of basic maintenance (missing lightbulbs, broken fridge, stuck door, non-functioning keycard, etc.). And while the wi-fi is free, it requires you to sign up for their rewards program.

Our room was spacious and clean. The bed was so comfortable we did want to get up for our event. The staff was kind and accommodating. I will look for this location every time I come in town.

Staff was very friendly, free breakfast was nice. Our room was a bit dated and did not smell very clean. The bathroom also was dated, no bath mat. Overall, needs renovation.

The beds were super comfortable - the perfect blend of firm and soft. I have a bad back so that is a deciding factor of whether I'll stay at a hotel.

When we travel we select facilities that offer early breakfast options so that we can leave early to avoid traffic issues. Breakfast was to begin at 6:00 and by 20 minutes after there was sign or smell of breakfast preparation. There was also no one at the front desk. We needed to ask for the access information since we did not wish to join the rewards program. The info did not work so no wifi. Our initial check in with Latoya was professional & she was very help full with area information. The lack of breakfast staff & no wifi affected our ratings. Would also prefer a designated no pet floor.

Got there at 9:30 PM and took 30 minutes to check in.

The property was in ok condition, carpet hasn’t been clean and years!! I asked the Housekeeper that was cleaning on the 3rd fl, not to go in my room they did not LISTEN! They ran out of wash clothes and tiles until the next day thank GOD we had extra! Front desk staff was very RUDE!! Every morning when went downstairs to eat breakfast a group of older women would be at the front desk gossiping in front of guest which was very inappropriate! It was a young gentleman that worked the 3-11 shift (Front Desk) that was really nice! But sorry I’ll never stay here again

The clerk we dealt with was fantastic. We had a blowout on the road in Marietta and were stuck on the road for a couple of hours. We called and she was very helpful and offered to move the reservation to a Marriott closer to our location. We eventually made it to the hotel and she was wonderful with our check in process. She is obviously a wonderful person.

The hotel was clean and the staff was super friendly. The breakfast was your standard Hampton Inn setup. Nice place to stay when traveling.

The property is nice. Parking was easy, the room was very quiet. The only bad thing was that the breakfast room didn't open until 7:10, though the sign said 6:30. Fortunately, they had plenty of good coffee. Otherwise, everything was good

Front counter staff was great. Room was comfortable enough. Breakfast was fair. Coffee seemed like it was from previous day. All of this had to do with kitchen help. She sat staring at her phone and a don’t bother me attitude.

This was the worst Hampton Inn at which we have stayed. The breakfast was a rolling stockout, for lack of either staffing or effort. The front desk doesn't answer the phone. The property is shopworn.
