The hotel is just below the sunset viewpoint. The viewpoint is a short walk away and you don’t have to pay for access like everyone else. Balloons float right over the hotel every morning. Mustafa and his crew were friendly and helpful.

ギョレメの街と夕日が一望できる展望スポットへの道すがらにあります。そのため、そこに行くための追加料金が必要ありませんでした。美しい夕日朝日を心ゆくまで楽しめました。 部屋は窓のないエコノミールームにしましたが、圧迫感はなく、とても居心地が良かったです。衛生的で、アメニティも充実していました。 レセプションのスタッフも丁寧で朗らかでした。 朝食のレストランは眺望が良く、ゆったりとした時間を過ごせました。スタッフのMihribanさんは気さくで、私達のことを気にかけてくれました。 カッパドキアを旅行するのには素晴らしい拠点でした。またギョレメを訪れることがあれば利用したいホテルです。 The hotel is on the way to a viewing spot where you can see the whole city of Goreme and the sunset. We did not have to pay extra fee to get there. Thus we were able to fully enjoy the beautiful sunsets and sunrises. We had an economy room with no windows, but it was very comfortable and not oppressive. Also the room was clean and well stocked with amenities. The reception staff was courteous and cheerful. The breakfast restaurant had a nice view and was relaxing. Staff Mihriban was friendly and took care of us. It was a wonderful base for our trip to Cappadocia. If we ever visit Goreme again, we would use this hotel.

Great location and views. Close to nice shops and restaurants. Walk up the hill. Free access to viewpoint if you stay at this hotel. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Delicious breakfast :) Would definitely come back

No parking at all, too many stray dogs they try to bite as you walk up hill. Staff was helpful, polite, night staff cannot speak English

Excellent place to stay for cave accommodation experience. Access to the top of goreme directly behind hotel. Staff very friendly and provided great advice for tours, food and activities. The balloon ride was organised via the hotel with a good deal. Worth the experience and views. Breakfast was amazing, too. Great value.

The location of this hotel is close to a viewpoint, which is free access to hotel guests, others have to pay, with fabulous views of the city, balloons in the morning, and easy access to good hiking areas.

*Arrival* Arrived in the evening to find that the hotel didn't have my booking. I showed them the booking confirmation and the email that THEY sent confirming parking was available days prior. Parking was not available. I had find my own street parking. *Check In* I'd booked a 2 room suite. They acted like it was my fault they didn't have my booking and letting me stay in a single room suite was doing me a favour. I understand things go wrong so the single room was fine, but I confirmed I was only going to pay the rate for the room I stayed in. After 2 nights the room I booked was available, so I moved to that one. The larger room has a floodlight right outside with no switch and no curtains, so the room was lit up all night. The light only turns off at 6am. *Check Out* Upon checking out I informed the receptionist that I stayed 2 nights in a single room, 1 night in the 2-room suite. They tried to charge me the original rate for all 3 nights. I wasn't asking for a discount, only the regular rate for rooms I stayed in. The receptionist was quite stern that he wouldn't do it. Eventually I sternly told him I'm absolutely not paying for the service I didn't receive and threatened to contact Hotels.com. After a call to his boss he reluctantly charged a more reasonable fee, although still slightly higher than it should have been (but not worth arguing over). *General* The hotel was alright. Nothing spectacular, but services work and generally clean. Breakfast disappointing.

Wonderful cave hotel at a great location close to all the best spots in Göreme. The rooms were very clean and the property felt safe. The breakfast selection was outstanding and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely come back. Thank you!

When we arrived we were given a room that had small bathroom with a tiny wash basin and the had held shower was broken. Next morning we requested a room change and we were moved to a room with view on the canopy of the building. They did not clean the room on second day. When we mentioned it they just said sorry. The only positive comment I can make is friendly and helpful guy called Ali who gave us advice about the sites near the town.

This property is built within the cave , so what can i say . just need more exhaust. over all it's acceptable aside from the molds accumulated in the shower room which made some of us ill of colds and cough.

The first night we stayed in a room with smelly bathroom with black mold. They changed our room for the next night. The view from the breakfast room was beautiful.

The location is good and the staffs were very friendly. The bath room is very small and hot water was not hot enough. A lady underwear still left in the room when we check-in.

The suite was not very clean. There were ants in the room. The owner is really nice.

The hotel is clean, great staff, good breakfast with a view overlooking Goreme. The room is larger than any room I stayed at in Turkiye. I’d stay there again.

Staff was helpful to the best for there ability but sometimes the came short. The views from the room promised looking over the city but the view was blocked by owning that cover over restaurant below the room. Room are in very unique concept but they need to do preventive maintenance in few areas in the room.

The location of the hotel is fabulous. It is a hike up the hill to get there, but you are only a few minutes from the sunrise/sunset viewing spot, which we appreciated in the morning. We stayed in a cave room, and it had lovely paintings on the wall. It was quiet and dark for sleeping. They had a fantastic breakfast buffet in the morning.

Decent little hotel with very interesting rooms and atmosphere much like the other cave hotels. Views from the rooms were amazing and the staff did a great job keeping the rooms clean. The highlight for me was the complementary breakfast. Pretty big spread with good selections!

The biggest shock to us was no hanger was provided & therefore no place to hang our jackets & other garments. Really a big minus. The room is small with furnitures placed in odd position. Breakfast selection was limited for non locals. A bit of warnings to future visitors: 1. The hotel is on a steep slope hill. Pretty challenging to walk down & return to the part of town where the actions are 2. Be prepared to climb up & down tall baskets if you wish to go hot air balloon. There is a risk to fall over as no assistance was provided. 3. Have cash if you wish to order tours via the hotel. They charge quite a bit for commission.

Overall loved staying the place. Although it was quite noisy when other guests were talking nonstop loudly and not sure if they can see inside of the room as the room was directly the common terrace. Also you might wanna confirm the pickup time for tours or shuttles as it changes every time you ask. I didn’t see any bad intention but it occurs to me that I looked late as I was given 15mins later time than actual pickup. Still overall the staffs were helpful and the tour company was great, not over priced at all. And great restaurants, breakfast and rooftop terrace!

The room we had came with a private balcony (we were told the highest in town). What a great view! The cave room was a unique experience and everything was perfect. Thanks to Samet for all the great help as well!

La chambre qui nous a été attribué comporte une fenêtre qui donne sur un couloir et à chaque fois que quelqu'un passe, la lumière s'allume et éclaire notre chambre. Comme beaucoup de personnes se lèvent a 4h30, c'était un passage incessant pendant 1/2 heure. Pour dormir, c'est vraiment pas terrible. Hormis ce problème, chambre spacieuse, petit déjeuner au top.

The Presidential Suite was charming and a unique place. Carved into the cave and on three floors, staying there was a special experience. The balcony was a lovely place from which to view Goreme and on a couple of mornings, the balloons passed right overhead. There was a leak in the tub that caused some water on the bathroom floor. I brought this to their attention and hope they’ll fix it. The staff was very friendly and helpful in arranging tours and balloon excursions.

Staff was great breakfast was great rooms needs alotts of fixing. Also advertising shows room within views to the city but the vew were blocked by owning of the restaurant below.

Excellent location, beautiful building, welcoming staff (especially Amir ) and they do everything to meet your expectations. Amir went above and beyond to help us with other stuff which had nothing to do with his job. I highly recommend this place and I am planning to go back to this place again.

Samet made our trip memorable. Thanks for such outstanding customer service. In fact all staff were top notch, but Samet surely stood out. Very authentic place, a must experience in a life time. My only regret not staying longer. Baths need a bit of TLC BUT didn’t bother us. Beds were very comfortable and atmosphere was on point.

Their warm, supportive demeanor made our stay comfortable and stress-free. A heartfelt thank you to Miss Aydin, the owner of the hotel, whose kindness and generosity stood out. She not only helped us extend our stay by a day but also made us feel genuinely welcomed. Her children were equally delightful—friendly, talkative, and made us feel as though we had known them for years. The family dog was another highlight—so adorable and playful, adding an extra touch of warmth to our experience. The hotel itself was very comfortable, with its location being just a few minutes from nearby restaurants, making it convenient for dining out. The breakfast was another plus, offering a good variety. A special thanks to the kitchen staff, particularly the lovely lady (whose name I unfortunately can't recall) who went out of her way to prepare an omelet exactly to our liking. Overall, the combination of a welcoming atmosphere, attentive service, and the personal touch from the staff made this stay unforgettable. I can’t say enough great things about Mert and the rest of the staff at Ascension! Mert was always happy to help. Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. I’ve reduced one star because of the condition of the bathtub. The tub was falling apart.

Very comfortable stay with amazing breakfast. Rooms were clean, though we had a problem with the a/c. The folks at the reception are very helpful in booking the tours and balloon rides. Walkable distance to Goreme city center. Don’t miss the sunset point from the hotel.

Nous arrivons dans notre magnifique chambre au sommet de la ville. L'architecture et le confort été juste parfait. La vue du balcon est idéal pour relaxer et admirer le paysage. Le matin, nous avons le petit déjeuner inclus. La nohrriture et le service encore une fois parfait. À la réception, la gérante et le personnel nous ont aidé à organiser nos 3 journées d'activitées afin qu'elles soient parfaites sans nous casser la tête. Je recommande à tout le monde l'hotel. Il est également à 10 min de marche environ de l'autogare. Près de tout ce que vous souhaitez et un transport est disponible pour vous reporter à l'aréoport. We absolutely loved our stay. Everyone at the reception is so warm and friendly and made you feel like family. The location at the top of the hill was so beautiful. We woke up early in the morning and only had to walk up 3 minutes for the most beautiful view of balloons in every direction. This was my favorite hotel during our Turkey trip! Great location and good breakfast.

It is close to sunset point. Bit steep slope but nice view.

Great location but if you have trouble climbing hills or steps this might not be for you. As the name suggests you have to climb a bit of a hill to get to the lobby and perhaps a number of steps to get to your room. Hotel staff very helpful with luggage etc. I would recommend for an interesting cave experience for 3-4 days.

We had a wonderful stay in this cozy hotel. The staff specially Semet and Paresh took great care of us! The rooms are clean and the breakfast was great! The hotel is slightly up hill, but also very close the the highest view point!

Travelling around Turkey for one month stayed in Cappadoccia for 3 nights wanted to do Air Balloon but all cancelled owing high winds.But Ascension Caves Suites was very comfortable and quiet they arranged tours staff were very friendly and cooperative.Hotel is conveniently located for restaurants and sights.

It was in the Center of Goreme and you could see the baloons from the bedroom window. There is a viewing point just beyond the hotel for better views of the balloons. The beds were really comfortable and the room was sparkling clean.
