Days Inn by Wyndham Thomson

Property is rundown quite a bit. Rooms need repair to certain areas. When we checked in this time there was food in fridge ashes in drawers ( we had smoking rooms), and roaches. We only stayed because they accept pets. Our 3rd time here. In trying to make our stay extended had a very hard time with staff trying to communicate with foreign staff. Almost turned into a fight, and individual obviously hates her job, but we did manage to get an extension. There was no breakfast coffee for about 5 days. Just an older establishment that depends on locals to maintain.

Construction was going on. The hallways smelt aweful. Bathroom was horrible and broken tiles on floor and door know hanging off. Did not resemble picture online at all. Total misrepresentation. Very disgusted

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in; surprised it has Wyndham’s name associated with this property. Cabinets in the kitchenette had holes in them and sticky residue, like a coke had sprayed on the cabinets, and on a partition between the kitchenette and the room. Ice was built up in the refrigerator, and it looks like at one tome there was a stove which is gone. The sinks in both rooms were dirty and stained. Ice machine in lobby appears to get turned off at night. Front desk doesn’t answer white phone after 9:00. We decided to cut our trip short and the hotel charged us for a night we didn’t even stay there. The WYNDHAM NAME SURE DOESN’T mean clean, usable accommodations, or customer service. There is a Hampton by Hilton across the street if you need to stay in Thomson, GA.

Check in was smooth, the gentleman found my reservation quickly. Accommodation was just what we needed, room was clean, bed was comfortable, shower was amazing. Lots of eateries within walking distance. Pet friendly, our dog JoJo enjoyed the stay also.

Construction in most of the hotel made hallways crowded and smelly. Breakfast was non existent. Limited breakfast bars and coffee only. Hotel should not have taken guests if they could not provide bare minimum of what was advertised.

Room was not properly cleaned. Found cigarette butt on counter. Found stuff in drawers. Ice machine was not working.

Not satisfied at all with Days Inn after this stay. The brkfst consisted of small individually wrapped muffins, toast and butter and coffee. That was on Fri, I didn't find anything on Sat morning. The entire property appeared run down, unkept, and no one seemed to care. Guest sat at front entrance smoking, further reinforcing the unkept, rundown appearance. I've stayed at many Days Inns but this was by far the worst lodging experience I've had in many years and stays.

Booked because of previous very satisfactory Days Inn stays at other properties. This property was not up to the brands standards. Breakfast was coffee and a banana. The ice machine was broken, ice was brought in a cooler from the restaurant next door. The plumbing was terrible. I could only get hot water out of the bathroom faucet, no cold water. My travel companion fell in the slippery tub and has numerous severe bruises on her back and thighs. This was brought to the manager's attention and we were told to put a towel in the tub. When we asked for a towel to dry with we were begrudgingly given one. I chased numerous spiders and bugs on the floor in the room. The tub did not drain (the towel was pulled from the drain). By the end of my shower the water was above my ankles. The manager was mostly very polite and accommodating. If the property was maintained as well as his gorgeous fish tank, it would be a stellar Days Inn.

I stayed one night because it was late and we had been driving a long time. The ice bucket had food in it. The wall had what looked like old vomit. Shower didnt drain. Mold and filth all. BEhind and beside potty.

Bed bugs place is gross.

There were hairs all over the sink, toilet and shower. All of the furniture was greasy like something had been spilled. The room didn’t look or smell like it had been cleaned in a long time! Floors were super dirty and sticky. The pillows and bed were stinky. We found a hypo needle in the dresser drawer. Never been so ready to get out of a hotel room ever!! This place was disgusting!

The shower head had a spraying leak that was hitting the ceiling. There was mold on the ceiling at that point. Other wise the room was spotless and kudos to the cleaning crew for a job well done.

There was literally a cockroach on the floor, the sink took 10 mins to drain after every use, the towels were paper thin and it smelled like pot

Black hair and blonde hair in the sheets (mine is pink, my bf shaves his head ) toilet didn’t flush , the door to the room next door don’t lock or shut and was held closed by a desk , broken bench . And just dirty all around

This place is filthy... food on the floors in the room, roaches, stains on sheets, nasty all around.

The sheets were filthy with hair, stains and bedbugs. We had to buy sleeping bags to sleep on top of the sheets. The overall room condition/cleanliness was similar

I was surprised that this property did not present as pictured in the advertisement. Overall condition was poor and it smelled of weed in the hallway. There was not a hair dryer in the bathroom and parts of the floor were coming apart. The microwave in the room was dirty as well. Don’t think I’ll be staying here again.

This was by far the nastiest hotel I have ever been in. Floors were filthy, bathrooms were filthy and entire facility smells nasty. I am wondering how Holiday Inn could allow a facility like this be associated with their brand.

Smelled bad like Marijuana.. dooe safety latch was broke off the door ,the door didnt open and close very well .. the place looks run down ,i wont be staying there gain at 95 dolalrs a night

If you are thinking about staying at this Days Inn, just don’t. Save yourself the money and sleep in your car or spend a little more and get better accommodations. From the girl who checked us in, in her pajamas to the room itself, it has all been horrible. If we went exhausted, we would have went somewhere else. Let’s start with the door, the secondary safety lock is broken off. Then the bathroom, the ceiling is falling down, the shower hand bar is pulled out of the wall, the drain barely lets any water go down and is pulling out of the wall, the shower head is not adjustable, and the knob is broken. Oh and the water pressure is so high the water just sprays everywhere and soaks the floor. There was a white gooey substance on the chair that looked like someone shot their load but was probably lotion or something. I would not recommend this place to anyone for any reason.

Break room is trash, no liner in trash bin, coffee was not good, juice dispenser spilling juice, butter was "parlay" bottle. I would not stay here again. Customer service was nonexistent.

Rooms were clean but older furnishing. Shower stall cracked but useable

Short walk to room from lobby. Room is very small, but beds are clean and comfortable. It worked for us as we just needed an affordable clean space. Odor noted in lobby, but room was fine. Air conditioner was noisy but constant, so outside noise was not as obvious. Hair ball on bottom of bathroom door. No hairdryer.

The woman working at the front desk was very unfriendly. Would never stay here again. The price is too high for the rooms to be so outdated.

I will never book this hotel again it was terrible. Dead roach on the floor no towels or rags.When i went to the front and it never no one up there and they was rude and nasty on the food they didn’t even clean the room.

Easy check in and customer service

Not only was the owner rude and disrespectful, the hotel was supposedly remodeled, the place smelled just like cigarettes. I came to stay the night, checked in ab 6pm then left and went with friends. When I came back to the room, I started to open the door, and a Doberman Pinscher dove to the door, growling and snarling. Startled, I closed the door and then knocked only to see an elderly lady come to the door in my room with her dog. I immediately went to the front desk, asking the owner why was a dog and a woman in the room that I paid for. He very rudely said it was a misunderstanding, that he could just put me in another room, meanwhile, it’s midnight! I asked for my money back and he said he wasn’t returning my money bc he coulda just put me in another room. I didn’t want to stay at this place after the smart remarks he kept making. I just wanted my money back. He refused, I had to call the police up to the hotel and stay talking with them for over 2 hours, as well as hotels.com, and the owner, still being rude while the officers were there, telling my black boyfriend that he needed to go back to Jamaica (he is not Jamaican). I told the owner that I was going to post on my facebook page so everyone would know and not ever come to that hotel. He then told me that he was NOT giving me my money back if I posted on social media. By that time the police officer talked to hotels.com and although the owner of the hotel was supposed to give my money back, hotels.com had to.

This hotel is a joke, they would not allow me to check in because it was 1:30am. I had a reservation and had been traveling all day. I have never experienced a name brand hotel that would not allow guest to check in. Staff was also very rude!! It’s worth the few extra bucks to stay somewhere else.

During the stay the room was stuffy. The power went out in the whole facility an was out for hours and very little was done to explain to guests what was going on or help with the inconvenience.

Breakfast was a total joke, thank goodness there are plenty of restaurants nearby.

This was a transition stopover between the beach and Atlanta. If you are only staying one night, you can sleep here reasonably well. I wouldn’t stay longer.

I've stayed here twice. Good for if you're just passing through and need to sleep. It's quiet.
