It was quite small, and the pool did not actually belong to the Super 8 but to the hotel across the way, which meant we had to go to the other hotel for the key to get into the pool. The pool was not heated. The breakfast was minimal.

Was very disappointed to find out the pool was closed upon arrival. Part of the reason for booking was due to pool. I think something should have been posted so we could book elsewhere. We were allowed to swim next door, so in the end it was ok...just not quite the same. Still would stay again, however.

The staff was very nice and efficient. The room was clean. It was noisy however with adults and children with loud voices outside our room door. They were very inconsiderate. However, the lock on the left hand door needs to be fixed for security. People just place a towel or rug there to keep the door open because the key card does not unlock the supposely secure door.

If you need a place to crash 1-2 nights, this is a decent place. If you're trying to stay for longer than that, I would look for something more comfortable. Toilet seat was broken, door had to be slammed shut, carpets are sticky, no elevator, and the beds are quite uncomfortable. No hot items on the breakfast bar either. However, the pool was open and clean, they had yogurt, muffins, and fruit cups available 6-9, and it's pet friendly. Staff pretty much minded their own business, and I could not hear my neighbors from inside the bedroom. We left a night early, but really it wasn't that bad.

On the plus side, although this hotel was an older facility, it was well-kept. My room and bathroom were very clean. The bed was comfortable and the amenities were good (refrigerator, microwave, table & chair, towels, shampoo/soap, etc). On the downside, the television wasn't working properly. I could only get one channel and gave up trying. Not sure if it was an issue with the remote or the TV. The BIGGEST drawback was that even though the hotel had 2 stories, there was NO ELEVATOR! I know that this being an older facility may be the reason; however, I didn't see anything on their site stating they had no elevator. If so, I would have specifically asked for a 1st floor room. It may have been somewhere, but it was not readily visible when I decided to pick this hotel. I am not young and have bad knees. I had a lot of things with me for my trip and going up and down the stairs was really difficult.

There were roaches in my room floor dirty bench in the room look like it been in there for years and was very stained. It was noisy. Look is was a lot drug attacks hanging around. Bathroom was very dingy tub dirty and toilet was not cleaned.

The front desk staff was a sweet lady. The room however was yuck! The room smelled of mold, the carpet was stained, the sink area counter parts were falling off, the footstool / luggage holder was nasty with stains and the front leg was falling off! I will give the tub area credit as the shower stall looked to be new and clean even if the shower head was moldy. The sheets were clean and the towels. I would not stay here again or recommend it to anyone ever.

Called to discuss with front desk and they immediately offered my money back as they were sold out. Very nice about it and friendly. Oddly they didn't question it or even want to check the room. The hotel was run down and had a musty odor.

Room very dated not close to the pictures on line. Carpet was so stained and dirty we didn't walk on with out our shoes. Toilet felt like there was a bolt missing rocked when you sat down. Bathroom door would not latch. Something spilt on the wall looked like it had been there awhile. Beds were ok. I can understand dated but not dirty. Bathroom also did not have any vent.

Room was nice and clean, newly renovated i think. Stayed one night. Hallway very noisy untill 11pm. The front desk person had to have heard and could have asked kids to stop running and yelling. Bed wasn't very comfy but we were pleased with the cleanliness.

Bed was horrible in room 130. Mattress had a huge crater in it and once you rolled into that it was hard to get out. Room was very clean and staff very helpful and friendly. Not sure would stay again as you could hear people talking in hallway, tv from room next door and could hear the shower from neighboring rooms.

It is an older property but renovated. The shower was nice but the curtain style made it a little awkward to use. The heater constantly turned on and off as if it had a temperature sensor issue. Other than that and a worn out side of the bed, it was very very clean, so glad for that.

I stayed in room 203. The carpet had multiple stains. The ac was older with wear. The knob is out of place so the true steering is two spots to the left but it does work and gets cool. The toilet is very short but the shower had good pressure and was hot. The sheets on the bed were clean and the bed was comfortable even though the pillows were very flat. The hotel was more than adequate for a night's sleep. The check in and checkout was a breeze.

The internet will not connect with Apple devices. It was not just us, desk clerk can’t connect with her iPhone either. This resulted in us having to use remote which resulted in our incurring data over charges. TV had no guide and no printed channel listing so finding channels next to impossible

The staff were very polite and helpful. Made sure I understood everything and wanted to make sure I was happywith my room, that everything was working, and I was satisfied with it. The room had all the amenities I could've needed and very quiet. No sounds from outside or neighbors.

This was an absolute joke and I will be calling orbitz for a refund. Hot water didn’t work, keys didn’t work, no breakfast provided. Staff was slow and had no clue what they were doing.

The first room they give me smelled smokes, doggie and the toilet wasn’t clean. Then, the front desk lady gave me a second room down stairs; the toilet was clogged. When I called her, she said that there is a plunger in the front desk and you have to come get it and plunge the toilet. At that point, I didn’t want to change to another room so I unclogged the toilet. The next night I came back they didn’t clean my room. When I called the front desk, a lady said that they don’t clean the rooms every day. I asked for sheets and stuffs, the lady said you have to bring the dirty ones to the front desk so that you can get new ones. This is the worse experience I’ve ever had.

Very pleasantly surprised by our stay at the Super 8 in Valdosta. I appreciated the pre-check in option which made actual check in a breeze! The room was clean and in good shape. We only stayed for 12 hours but it was a good nights rest for a very reasonable price.

Room was clean and comfortable. Staff at the desk wasn’t very welcoming. They didn’t tell us about the breakfast hours, pool or other amenities.

I didn’t like that the heat in my room didn’t work so I was freezing all night I had to sleep with my jacket on. And the access doors to get into the hotel weren’t working on either side, so I had family members locked out for an hour because the receptionist wasn’t attending the front desk to go and let them in.

Would not recommend. I was driving late and booked a room off of the interstate to sleep for a few hours. When I arrived at the address the hotel had a different name and looked very unsafe. In all honesty I didn't go in. I felt uncomfortable as I was travelling solo. I booked a different hotel immediately. I was unable to cancel and they would not refund my money.

We were greeted by Leslie who was very pleasant, we were just staying over night and at first a little hesitant as it was a “cheap” hotel but the room was clean. No weird smell or over flowery spray, i did my mattress check and all was clear. The surrounding area is as you would expect as an exit off the highway. Small light breakfast.coffee decent muffins, danishs, yogurt. Simple but enough to grab something and on the road again

This is an old hotel surrounded by commercial properties and trucks, but the front desk people are nice, the rooms are clean, the beds comfortable, and the price right. For a bed and a good night’s sleep on the road this did the job. No complaints.

It was a safe and clean location close to where we needed to be. Breakfast was coffee, individually wrapped pastries and envelopes of grits and oatmeal. Orange juice machine was broken. All good for less than $100 a night.

Grab & go breakfast options were not what we were looking for. I read several reviews and some has said the breakfast was ok or even good. There was really nothing that my family wanted. We may have taken one cereal, and then went to search for a DD coffee place…they’re building one right there across the parking lot, but it wasn’t open yet. :-(

There was no breakfast. At 8:30am we went to breakfast. There was no food. Only coffee. They said they had no food to offer. No apologies. We should have credited $. We stay there 6 times a year. This is ridiculous. The A/C was very loud. It would turn on and make a terrible noise for 33 seconds. Then it would stop for 88 seconds then repeat again. The front cover was hanging off in the room. This continued ALL night with us not getting much sleep.

The staff were WONDERFUL. Unfortunately, the non-smoking room smelled heavily of cigarette smoke, so our overnight stay was less than pleasant. Additionally, the breakfast in the morning was very substandard--only water and some prepackaged muffins were available, otherwise nothing else, so disappointing.

Not too impressed with the staff. Room was very musty. Bed was comfortable. Carpet was disgusting. Bathroom shower was good. Breakfast was a joke! Fruit loop cereal, granola bar, fruit cup, horrible coffee, wrapped muffins. Good thing there was a Waffle House across the street!

Room was nicely clean. Most comfortable hotel bed I have slept on in a long time. Fitted sheet stayed in place and was very soft and smooth. Top sheet and pillow cases were much rougher. Building was in a bit of disrepair. AC was very effecient, and COLD. However, the unit itself was nasty looking. I have had a runny nose ever since. Continental breakfast was the cheapest I've ever seen. No coffeemaker in room. These things need attention to uphold the Wyndham brand.

The curtains were dirty. We were busy so, didn't have time to report it. I and my family just stayed away from them. The housekeeping staff didn't clean our room the next day on 8-30-26. Also, the night of 8-30-26 the phone started ringing constantly from 2am-5am until I unplugged the phone out the wall. The front desk advised that they didn't call when I advised them of the problem around 3am...The glitch was the phone wasn't even working or had a dial tone before all this started...Overall, the hotel stay was Ok.

It was a perfect affordable stop over spot. It was clean, relatively. There was some mold around sink faucet. Bed was clean a neat but a little too soft for me. I didn’t realize the breakfast was grab and go, but that worked just fine as we just wanted coffee and a muffin. I would stay again for the price and the short amount of time spent.

We needed a quick one night stay and this fit the bill. The facility was older and has no elevator but we didn’t need to bring in all of our luggage so worked out fine. The room was neat and clean. However, the remote tv batteries were dead and shower soap dispenser empty. Aside from that, all was ok and the location was cery convenient by the interstate. Brittni was the shining star! She checked us in and was so welcoming and accommodating. We greatly appreciated that after a long day of travel!
