Got a room on 3rd floor (no elevator) was a bit exhausting with luggage for seniors. Initially cable tv didn’t work but discovered someone unplugged it behind the big tv cabinet. But place was clean, bed comfortable and breakfast waffle and biscuits and gravy tasty.

The property was poorly cared for. The catch lock that should've been on my door was gone, there was a hole in the bathroom door. There were weak spots in the hallway floor. Outside, the parking lot was in rough shape. But the thing that really bothered me was the large cockroach that I killed in the bathroom.

The room itself was clean and adequate. However, the none of the outside lights was on - or not working - and it was so dark that I couldn't even find the place to begin with. Once I did know it was there, it was still hard to see the driveway, etc. in the dark.

The room was horrible only one light on the bathroom was working, there was a lamp plugged in that didn’t work unplugged the lamp to plug in my phone charger & the outlet didn’t work. Tv was not set up correctly. There were only 2 towels in the bathroom that weren’t big at all and one was yellow almost like it had been sitting in a smoke filled room for years & they were extremely rough. We didn’t even stay the second night that we had reserved.

We got in late. The room was very musty smelling. And the bathroom smelled strongly of smoke. The bathroom walls were not clean and you could see where someone had tossed something in the garbage and it had splashed on the wall. Overall it wasn’t terrible but I would chose some place else before staying here again.

We were very disappointed in our stay from July 3 to July 6, 2025. When we checked in we were told only one room was available. The room smelled of cigarettes and was dirty. My husband went to the front desk to complain at 7:30am and was told there was another room available, even though nothing else was available the night before. The next room we were moved to was on the second floor. However the bathroom was filthy, I ended up cleaning myself. The towels were stained and paper thin as well as a stained shower curtain. The air conditioner was very loud so very little sleep. We were told the manager would be calling the next day about a refund and no word. If we had any other upticks we would have checked out immediately. Very disappointing!

This property is located right off the highway which is easy to get to when arriving late. The noise of the highway is a bit much but expected. Hotel check in staff was not friendly and didn't seem happy when I booked through a third party while standing in the lobby because the rate was better than what he would offer me. The breakfast area was dirty and not very well stocked. We would have preferred to take the next exit off in Clear Lake so that we were closer to restaurants but didn't realize that when we arrived. The room was very dated and needs an upgrade.

I asked for a room on the main floor without steps and on the backside away from traffic. I pointed this out when I checked in, the clerk accknowed it, and point out where to go. I went to my room, heard a noise and looked out the window....at trucks on the interstate. I went back to the clerk and he was busy with others. I heard the trucks ALL night. I tried going back to the desk and no one around. I was NOt happy, and will tell everyone.

Upon checking in, the guy at the front desk was really rude. When we asked for more Towels to be able to shower, the guy was rude about that too and did finally get some more for the room. The tv didn’t work at first; I called down to the desk for help. At first he wouldn’t help but eventually came up at my request. The outlets didn’t work. The breakfast was okay. After we checked out and as we were getting ready to leave my car battery was dead, I went back in to ask for help or where I could get some help and again the guy was rude saying they stopped helping and it was our problem. We weren’t expecting anyone to come out; just where we could have gone to for a jump. Also, I asked to use the restroom while waiting and the guy said no and had to use the hotel room; couldn’t because we had already checked out. I also was not impressed with the fact there was a woman cleaning rooms with her kids and they were dropping toys down the stairs While my pregnant wife was trying to walk down the stairs. The issues are more with customer service skills than anything. I wouldn’t recommend staying And won’t again.

When I first went in to sign in for my room the general manager was very nice in fact everybody there was wonderful they treated us very good the rooms were very clean they always made sure we had towels because we were staying there for five nights And they had a really good breakfast there I would recommend staying there

Travel nursing It was decent. Just that. Stayed for 7 days and never got housekeeping service. They said that you have to request it before 11 am, which I wrote a note and asked for the next day but never got it. Also, they stated that after 3 day, housekeeping is required … yep…never got it. No bugs of any kind detected. The curtains aren’t blackout so when the sun is up…so are you. Breakfast is waffles, cereal, and cold hard boiled eggs. On one of the night, I came back from work and there was no hot water. had to call the front desk and wait. On the morning I was leaving, there was no hot water…I didn’t even bother and just used the cold shower. It’s decent for business travels but not for pleasure unless you looking for cheap.

Front desk staff was rude upon arrival. Asked for 2 extra towels and was asked why. Felt there should have been no questions. Towels were not given housekeeping never brought any. You are in the service industry enough said. Outside appearance was ok, interior needs some updating. Will not stay here again!

The breakfast area was dirty and not very well stocked. We would have preferred to take the next exit off in Clear Lake so that we were closer to restaurants but didn't realize that when we arrived. The room was very dated and needs an upgrade.

The room itself was clean and adequate. However, the none of the outside lights was on - or not working - and it was so dark that I couldn't even find the place to begin with. Once I did know it was there, it was still hard to see the driveway, etc. in the dark.

I asked for a room on the main floor without steps and on the backside away from traffic. I pointed this out when I checked in, the clerk accknowed it, and point out where to go. I went to my room, heard a noise and looked out the window....at trucks on the interstate. I went back to the clerk and he was busy with others. I heard the trucks ALL night. I tried going back to the desk and no one around. I was NOt happy, and will tell everyone.

Got a room on 3rd floor (no elevator) was a bit exhausting with luggage for seniors. Initially cable tv didn’t work but discovered someone unplugged it behind the big tv cabinet. But place was clean, bed comfortable and breakfast waffle and biscuits and gravy tasty.

The hotel was clean but is getting tired. We were just staying overnight so it served its purpose. The breakfast was nice with a good selection. I'm not thrilled with how much styrofoam they use but I understand that they want to have the breakfast easy for the staff to manage.

You get what you pay for... its a tired old building... the a/c works running all night long, clean as they can get an old place, sheets are stained, towels are thin and no longer white, pillows need to be replaced being well used, the bed is unsupportive, very soft, breakfast is waffles and hard boiled eggs, no fruit, coffee only in the breakfast area. My suggestion is to pay extra at another hotel to get a better value.

The Room was dusty. The sink facet had a bad leak. I almost ran out of toilet paper. No coffee machine in the room and the coffee at breakfast was the worst coffee I have ever had. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet.

The fitted sheet had a cigarette burn hole the size of a quarter, The shower head connection pipe shot water out sideways out of the shower. The shower tube had either black mold or black grease markings all over it. The shampoo container in the shower was empty. I could go on and on!! If our check-in time wasn’t at 11:30 after a long trip we would have bolted to somewhere else. My wife was appalled to say the least. Never, ever never stay at this dump!!

The staff was very friendly, but the bed had a LARGE divot (basketball-sized), and the coffee was so weak you could see through to the bottom of the cup. The breakfast was also pretty sketchy-looking, so we passed on that. The place was pretty clean, though.
