We have stayed at this motel many times in the past. This is the 1st time I’ve had a complaint. We got in the room and I noticed there was something on the toilet lid(dried blood or dried poo) that obviously had not been cleaned. Called the front desk and she did come up to clean it but felt like she just wiped it down quick and left. Not the friendliest person in the world…maybe she was having an off day? Anyway, we bought disinfectant wipes to clean. Didn’t know what else the housekeepers didn’t wash. Gross. I did the online check-in as requested by the motel. Downloaded a pic of my license and everything. The site said all I would have to do is go ask for our room key. Well, that’s not even close. Went in to get the key and she (the same not so friendly woman that later “cleaned” the toilet) told me she needs my license. I told her I checked in online. After almost 10 minutes I finally got the key to our room with her needing nothing from me because I did the check in. Ugh. Also, the air conditioner was loud (sounded like a a semi running and honking in the distance). Feel like this property is getting run down and not maintained very well. With all of that being said, Dave, the front desk person in the morning (both Saturday and Sunday) made the stay worth it. He is such a joy. He really deserves a raise. We will be looking at another motel after this stay. It seemed less friendly there(minus Dave) and unlike Iowa. Makes me sad and disappointed

Clean rooms and clean property. Free parking with plenty of spots. Staff was friendly. Free breakfast was so/so. Will definitely stay here again when in the area.

Room and bath were meticulous! The hot breakfast buffet was very well supplied and tasty. The location is great and both the building and grounds are well kept. Would stay here again without the least bit of hesitation
