After getting into the room ( the door was stuck) we tried closing the door and it didn't want to close. The dead bolt didn't work at all. The air conditioner made so much noise we had to shut it off to get any sleep. we went to bed around 10:30 PM and were awaken at 11:15 pm to our car alarm going off(along with other car alarms)--obviosly attempted break-ins in the parking lot. No sign of office staff coming out to investigate. Finale review of this place. Horrible... it should not be on the list of hotel/motel choices. If I was Roadway Inns I would be ashamed putting my name on the sign out front.

Allowed me to check in early as I had wedding to get to in East Dubuque. Very clean room and quiet. Parking lot was a bit full of potholes but otherwise nice stay.

Easy parking. Not sure if ac worked. We used it more for heater but that worked great. Room was clean. Shower was hot and powerful. Small refrigerator.

Old motel style with loud parking lot of people “hanging out and talking” until 2AM. Front desk closed midnight to 9AM so no one to call except police and no one available for check out before 9 if needed. Very clean and comfortable though.

This place is awful!! There was large red stains in the bottom of the tub (hoping it wasn’t blood). Couldn’t change rooms because they were booked (but we were the only car in the driveway). Several parts of the front of the building are hanging and falling off. Furniture is dirty and stained. Non smoking room smelled so much like smoke I actually got a sore throat. Bath towels the size of hand towels and so thin they barely dry. Staff extremely rude and unwilling to help. They close the office at midnight so don’t forget or lose your key, need to check in late or need any service. They are not available AT ALL until the next morning. A few restaurants within a reasonable drive. Honestly surprised Expedia does business with such a low quality place.

Super old, property should be torn down. Bath tub was so old it had rust spots in the bottom. Air conditioner fan sounded like a jet engine with howling bad bearings. The door had no safety locks.

I had a light tan bug in the tub the next morning after my shower. I then had a tiny black bug come out of my hair when I was getting my hair wet in the sink. A very unpleasant experience.

Staff is nice but ive never been i. Such a dirty room...i noticed my socks were black...jumped in the shower thinking it must have been from work. Dropped my towel on the floor and when picking it up it was covered it what i can only describe as nasty black stains. I didn't wanna put my bare feet on the floor so i shuffled on the towel and its covered in black dirt. Tried calling the front desk and got no answer. The lady at the desk was super nice at check in but this place is disgusting. Completely unacceptable

It’s budget accommodation. It was functional and clean. Can’t really ask for much else when paying the lowest rate. Staff were friendly. Had Starbucks, Aldi and a gas station nearby so convenient.

Did not stay! Arrived and adked to see the room. Property outdated , went to room opened door and there were flies landing on bed on bathroom counters . Smelled and did not look clean . Complained to desk person She said its summer and flues are normal. Unacceptable. I told her I would not stay and left. I called travelocity as property nothing like puctures and aftet they spoke with staff they said they would refund my money! Do not stay here

Shower had low water pressure and the shower head leaked. Only stay in one room an wouldnt let me cancel other room. Cuz i had to rent another room for my mom n her service dog cuz they tried to charge 100.00 for a service dog which is against the law... i cant wait to hear from the lawyer about that. Also bed was to be a queen an it was small looked like a twin.. no mircowave in rooms. No coffee pots in room. No nothing. No vending machines offered, no breakfast or coffee at office either. Manager is very very rude to female customers but very nice to my husband. Had a let sleep sign on door checkout was 11am an they was knocking on door at 830am to ask if my husband was checking out today... hotel should be shut down an tore down...

The room was tiny, drab and terribly noisy. The toilet was a child size toilet. Scary neighborhood. Definitely not worth what we paid. I would not stay there again at any price.

Room looked nice but this was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in. I’ve tossed and turned all night because it hurts to lay on one side for very long. My chest and back hurt. A sleeping bag on the floor may actually be more comfortable. Each room is only allowed 2 pillows, but they aren’t even full sized so my wife and I had to fold them in half for support. I’m writing this at 4AM because I can’t sleep and I’m only upset because we don’t leave for another 3 hours. Would sleep in my car before I came back here.

Staff was occomodaring and kind. Room was clean. Needed a microwave though. Smoking room will smell but it could use some extra cleaning in those rooms. Smokers deserve nice rooms too. The bed was fantastic!! Id stay again

For a pet friendly hotel, my dog had to stay in her crate, so that her fur didn't float onto the bed or it was a $100 fee. I never had to pay anything other than the $25 pet fee. I will never stay there again

I am requesting a refund on one of my purchased rooms. They had no one on site after hours which left my people whom I purchased the room for stranded with no way of getting back in. There is supposed to be someone on site 24/7 and that is not the case. Then they want to force my people out as they are requesting for a late check out.

This day was really great. I would recommend them. I will stay there again. Me and my family. We really liked it and we really were treated nice. Everybody was so friendly. If you had an issue they fixed it so quick.

The outstanding feature of this property is the people. Both the evening and morning shift were managed by individuals who were kind, thoughtful, and very helpful with my questions. They made our stay enjoyable and gave us a very good impression of Rodeway Inn--a hotel name we had not made use of in the past. Kurt & Connie

Check your bank account during and after stay. They will put unknown charges on your account. I paid in full on check in and had 2 more charges come up on my account and no one seemed to know why. I didn’t make them so someone there was making charges.

Staff was very helpful and friendly, placed was clean and had a nice breakfast. Biggest surprise was the patio with a lake view! We had no idea when we booked it!

The room was tiny, drab and terribly noisy. The toilet was a child size toilet. Scary neighborhood. Definitely not worth what we paid. I would not stay there again at any price.

This place is awful!! There was large red stains in the bottom of the tub (hoping it wasn’t blood). Couldn’t change rooms because they were booked (but we were the only car in the driveway). Several parts of the front of the building are hanging and falling off. Furniture is dirty and stained. Non smoking room smelled so much like smoke I actually got a sore throat. Bath towels the size of hand towels and so thin they barely dry. Staff extremely rude and unwilling to help. They close the office at midnight so don’t forget or lose your key, need to check in late or need any service. They are not available AT ALL until the next morning. A few restaurants within a reasonable drive. Honestly surprised Expedia does business with such a low quality place.

The immediately adjacent US20 is busy and very noisy. Hard to sleep. The property was recently remodeled. Rooms are quite nice considering the price point.

It’s budget accommodation. It was functional and clean. Can’t really ask for much else when paying the lowest rate. Staff were friendly. Had Starbucks, Aldi and a gas station nearby so convenient.

As far as budget hotels go; this is a very nice affordable & pleasant stay. You get what you pay for so consider your expectations. A bed and shower, small 'frig. simple cable and easy access to room. Clean and friendly accommodating staff. Truly wonderful staff. The shower is due for re-grout/tiled but otherwise in good state - very clean. Note you will experience some hwy noise and traveling workers in and out. Don't stay here if you want a fine breakfast, pool, & hot tub. Great for a recharge before hitting the road or when ur spending most of your time away from hotel exploring local attractions. Recommend for cyclist. Good Mexican restaurant next door. Good Job Rodeway:)

Shower had low water pressure and the shower head leaked. Only stay in one room an wouldnt let me cancel other room. Cuz i had to rent another room for my mom n her service dog cuz they tried to charge 100.00 for a service dog which is against the law... i cant wait to hear from the lawyer about that. Also bed was to be a queen an it was small looked like a twin.. no mircowave in rooms. No coffee pots in room. No nothing. No vending machines offered, no breakfast or coffee at office either. Manager is very very rude to female customers but very nice to my husband. Had a let sleep sign on door checkout was 11am an they was knocking on door at 830am to ask if my husband was checking out today... hotel should be shut down an tore down...

Owner charged the Expedia fee to me. Coffee pod was empty, not replaced after last rental. Bugs on floor of bathroom.

The room was clean, however it was rather outdated. The mattresses were very old, sagging in the middle old. The air did not keep up very well, there were gaps around the door where you could see daylight through, but was over 90 degrees outside too. I am not sure if I would stay again or not.

Almost nothing worked—the door had no functioning deadbolt, the TV wouldn’t turn on, the shower dribbled and the A/C rattled and groaned loudly. The WiFi was weak and the doors and walls have holes. Other than towels and a tiny bottle of shampoo, this place lacked any amenities. The only good amenity was the proximity to Dunkin Donuts.
