The property was only fair, usually there is a table in the lobby with water etc for travelers- empty; Walcott was in the midst of 100 temperatures, and there was NO ice in any of the machines, we checked all 3 floors! Had to go to Iowa 80 to get ice for our tumblers. Also the soda machines near the ice machines were empty, no bottled water offered at breakfast and whatever breakfast food was there seemed sparse and unappealing. We ate breakfast elsewhere....the main complaint was the fact that there was NO ICE!

We arrived late at night with a full-size pickup. Facility looked full. Property was near a truck stop. Parking was limited due to cramped small parking spaces. Per the facility staff was given OK to park in handicap spaces, which were not occupied. Went against my better judgement. And was very grateful in the morning that no ticket was received. The card keys for the door struggled upon first use and three had to be re-keyed by morning. This happens every time and the keys were not confused between the three rooms. The blow dryer did not work in room 202. Without checking, the desk clerk did not grant even one room for a late check out.

I was not satisfied they shut off the hot water a 12 o'clock I came out of visitation for my aunts funeral. when i got back to the room there was no tv or hot water. I have stayed in at least 51 hotels this year, because I retired and want to see the United States. this was one of the lower 5 motels I have stayed in.

The front desk guy is a real big jerk. I am on a road trip from Colorado. I accidentally booked at a wrong location and was trying to figure it out. He got mad, told me to take a seat. I told him I had two service dogs when I checked in. He gave us an attitude when he saw my dad and I walk in with two service dogs. The room smelled like a bad musty smell. The front desk guy was giving everyone an attitude, gave some senior citizen who was a veteran an attitude as well. This guy does not belong in hospitality. The breakfast was awful, the yogurt was expired by at least 20 days. 0/10 do not recommended. Save your money and stay somewhere else

Check-in was easy. Room was dated but ok. Breakfast was sad. Coffee old. No pancake batter and when I told the front deck. Response was to check level. There was little left and he told me to use the flavored one. No eggs left. Coffee was old and thick. Sad. No customer service.

The room was very clean and overall hotel was clean. The staff not very knowledgeable about the area. The breakfast was horrible the eggs and sausage were refrigerator cold even in the warmer so cold the chews looked like it just came from the wrapper the waffle batter was watered down very little selection of food no fruit no toast breafast need help the beds and pillows were worn down pretty bad.

Very nice check in lady when we came. Room was so clean and smelled good. Sheets were great and soft! Took breakfast with us when we left, but it had good choices!

We have never had a better night sleep! The beds were amazing, and the room exceptionally clean. Coffee maker with plenty of coffee, and the bath towels were the big ones! The night shift man was so sweet and helpful. The breakfast was great! Thanks so much…

Poo stain on the outside of the toilet, stains on the carpet, no ice in any of the ice machines. Breakfast was lacking, no waffle mix. Water dispenser was empty. Staff unfriendl. Pool to cold to swim in.

Room was about the only decent thing about this hotel. I was clean for the most part. Pool chairs were all rusting and falling apart, pool level was about two foot low. Had to beg the front desk to turn the lights on to be able to use the pool. Trash in hallways when we got there outside of the building is showing its age. Went down for breakfast around 7:45 am and there was like nothing left their juice/ water machine spit water everywhere. Staff were very rude about everything. Then two hours after we left they called claiming I stole a blanket from them and charged my card an extra $70.00. Would not recommend to anyone traveling to stop and stay at this hotel. It would be more comfortable and cheaper to pull into the truck stop and sleep in your car or stop fifteen minutes before or after this location to find a room!

Let’s start with what was right: room was neat and clean and the bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. And those are the main things you want in a hotel. But the downsides were numerous and glaring. There was no counter space in the bathroom, also no Kleenex and the containers with shower amenities were empty. The hotel staff do not seem to understand that they work on n the hospitality industry. In fact both evening and morning desk attendants were unwelcoming at best. The facility seemed shabby and not kept up. Breakfast was abysmal. The waffles were sour and since the batter was extremely thin we wondered if it was watered down or leftover from the previous day or both. It was not an especially busy morning but there was little else to eat. Eventually a guy came in and used the microwave to heat up some frozen eggs and rubber looking sausage patties. As he came through the staff door you could see a dirty kitchen in disarray. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
