Comfort Suites Airport

We picked this hotel for the last few nights of a big soccer tournament. Our kids were excited to swim and the rooms looked nice online. Unfortunately the manager closed the pool ( because something the groups there earlier in the week had done) gym was closed, guest laundry wasn't working, ice machines were broken, and to top it all off, the front desk was very unprofessional and non accommodating to the fact that all amenities seemed to be closed/broken.

Great overall the pool just was strong with chlorine

A/C did not work, Ice machine did not work, hot tub jets did not work and water was filthy

Parking free and plentiful. good restaurant 5 minute walk away

I really enjoyed our stay here! Definitely wonderful staff and our room, was very welcoming and very clean. The breakfast was great!!! The hot tub needs upkeep! It was clean, just peeling off some and not very hot or bubbly. The Pool was wonderful!

This is an older place and is a little worn out. It has handicap equipment in the pool, but again, worn. The pool lounge chair mats were old. This is close to the airport but on the opposite side of the interstate so less airplane noise. Good for a quick stop and go to the airport with a reasonable price. The bed was clean and comfortable.

Pool and spa needs update but over all good.

The double bed room was fine but the one bed had dried goldfish crackers and bugs in the window sill. The couch had what appeared to be stained white bodily fluids on a cushion and a huge burn hole in the arm rest. The room itself smelled as well.

BED BUGS! Stayed here for one night, checked for bed bugs but clearly not enough, woke up in the middle of the night with bites on my face and arms then found 2 bed bugs crawling across me. Upon further inspection the bed and couch were both very dirty. Staff did their best but we were told to wait almost 2 hours for a manager to arrive in order to discuss the situation.

The room 310 had a lot of insects. They moved me to another room, thabk you but this room the closet was frozen. The toilet stained and carpet at both room stained and it smells dirty.

Clean, comfortable and only a few minutes drive to the airport.

Thr room was disgusting. The sheets were dirty and had some crumbs in it. The night stand had what looked like pizza sauce and splattered milk all over the side. The couch looked dirty and had crumbs on it also. Stains on the carpet. The bathroom had mold all over the ceiling. I went to the front desk to tell them we could not stay in that room and I wanted to check out. They told me they didn’t have the authorization to cancel my booking since it was booked through a third-party. He then came and looked at room and talked to someone and then called the room and basically told me he didn’t have the authority to do anything so I could drape a sheet over the dirty bed. After I said that was unacceptable and there was no way anyone should stay in that room under those circumstances he said he’d look into if we could change rooms. I told them I would like to look at it but I didn’t want to commit to it. He then made me check out of the old room and into the new room before I could see. Even though I again said that I wanted to see it before switching. He assured me it wouldn’t be a problem. When we went to the second room it was definitely cleaner but not clean enough that I felt like there house cleaning was adequate. And did not feel safe for me or my family to sleep in there. So I contacted hotels.com since the hotel couldn’t help. They sent in for a cancellation and I went to another hotel. The hotel then came back and denied it because I “accepted the room”

Clean rooms and bathrooms, great hot breakfast with a lot of variety, pool and hot tub were a bonus. Friendly staff, would definitely stay here again.

The check in was fast and staff was friendly. There was a loud hum that vibrated the floor all night making it very difficult to sleep. This seems to be due to a pool fan below. The biggest issue was the the room was infested with ants which got into our food bag and were climbing over everything. When mentioned to front desk, he said it was because we left crumbs out. Super disappointed. Would not stay again.

I would not stay at this property again. Cleanliness is a big deal to me to feel comfortable at a hotel. Upon entering the room, our very dated couch had crumbs and spots all over it. I can handle dated furniture, but if the cleaning staff is missing crumbs that are visible on the couch, what else is being missed? We had to throw a sheet over the couch to even feel like we could sit on it. Our queen bed sheets were thankfully clean, but I had a hole in my sheet because it was so worn. We had to throw another sheet over that. The staff was nice to give us extra sheets, but that sheet should never have been used to make the bed. Corners of room dirty, drapes broken, hallways and elevators need to be vacuumed, cloth chairs in dining area are dirty. Breakfast was good for a hotel. Desk staff and breakfast staff were very nice!! Bathroom was relatively clean. I like that all their cups are wrapped. But unfortunately we will never stay here again.

The room was not in very good condition and not very clean. Some of the staff were very rude.

While the room was a little dated, it was clean and comfortable. About the only slightly bad thing were the lumpy pillows. Overall it was a great place to stay. Had a good nights sleep and breakfast was very good with eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, fruit, yogurt and more. Would stay here again.

Clean, large room but wi fi was horrible. Not a huge deal but it was annoying. The room & bathroom was great.

The bed are hard as a rock. Thats it! The cost was 150$ which was way to much for the room.

Nice hotel with comfortable beds. Breakfast was ok, did the job. Interior was a little worn, but room was comfy and that’s what’s important. Very nice staff at front desk. Would stay again when driving thru Boise on wThe way home!

Pillows wonderful. Bed hard and lumpy

Room smelled unusual, door was very close to toilet. Room didn't have enough lighting. Elevator stopped working. Only ice machine was out of order.

I could feel the springs in the mattress. But I only stayed one night. Great location.

Clean and fairly spacious. Enjoyed our stay and would stay again if in the area.

The room had no blackout curtains and the outside lights were bright. Making hard to rest.

This hotel refused to let us check in because we were local .. we booked this and paid in advance through Expedia because our home was being repaired . We went to check in and said they have a no local policy for anyone living within 125 miles of their hotel .. this was a last minute prepaid booking so I was not able to cancel … and they would not help me recover a refund . I’ve recommended this exact hotel to all my family when they are in town visiting us .. I’m shocked that they would leave us stranded like this .

We spoke to the lady that checked us in about the shuttle to the airport, then she did not actually schedule it so we had to make other arrangements. We also witnessed a firefighter who had been up all night and made arrangements for a room for a 6am check in get turned away. We stay here every time we fly out and we will not be staying here any longer.

I stayed one night. I arrived 45 minutes before check-in time of 3pm. The front desk staff told me it would be a $35 early check-in fee. I realize that is becoming common among hotels for revenue is not really something to complain about. However, the hotel was not busy with no more than 4 cars in the parking lot. The room was ready and available. I just did not get a warm welcome from the front desk who just asked for the $35 dollars for early check in without any explanation. It took me a few seconds to understand what was going on. I said I guess I will just wait 45 minutes and they just looked at me, no response. Upon returning 45 minutes later, still no one else at the hotel, continued the unfriendly welcome. I don't know, it just didn't feel comfortable. I don't expect a red carpet or anything but it was an odd interaction both times. The evening front desk staff was much friendlier, the rooms were clean, price was better than most other hotels in the area. The bed linens were clean but were not enough to keep you warm if you know what I mean. Breakfast was typical but it was a very clean eating area. The unfriendly front desk staff was there in the morning and made me uncomfortable again though. So odd visit for me.

For the price we paid, we weren't sure what to expect; our expectations were not-only met, but surpassed in most respects. There is a second Comfort Inn near the airport, barely a mile down the road; be very mindful of which property you booked and which one you are heading to! First and foremost, staff were absolutely fantastic! We arrived after a very long day on the road, and Chet, the gentleman that checked us in, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of. If you are expecting a brand-new, five-star facility, this is likely not the property for you. The facility is older, but for the most part, the upkeep has been very good; the sauna is currently down, but everything else was in good working order and felt very clean. I personally enjoyed the old-school vibes, especially the chandelier in the entry hall- very classy! The pool and fitness center were both simple, but very relaxing; the breakfast offered a great variety, with the cinnamon waffles being a particular standout. I have to mention that some of the milk was expired, but there was so much variety, we were still able to enjoy breakfast without much trouble (this was brought to staff attention). The location was far enough from downtown/University space to avoid the traffic, but close enough for convenient access. The elevator may need a tuneup; it worked, but made some odd noises when we used it. Aside from those two minor hiccups, this would have been a perfect stay!

The front desk went above and beyond. Very nice and helpful. Room was clean, but the closet mirror was cracked due to the safe door that wouldn’t shut. Someone must have been a bit aggressive with opening it.

Front desk staff at both check in and check out were rude. At check in refused to let me check in without writing down full license plate of my car (i travel alot this is the first hotel that demands a full plate) Asked for a late check out noone could give me an answer kept referring to the next person coming on shift (had to be to meeting before the day/morning shift arrived) had to request clean linens for the sofa bed (if you're going to advertise the room has a sofa bed please make sure there are linens for it) Hottub and swimming pool left alot to be desired hot tub luke warm if even that. However the breakfast options were great lots of options to choose from

I requested an ADU room from hotels.com and the room I chose showed the safety bars in the bathroom. When we got there, no ADU room was available!!!!! I am disabled and in a wheelchair and this made it extremely difficult and uncomfortable. I injured (pulled my back and arm transferring in the bathroom). If we hadn’t traveled all day I would not have stayed there. When I mentioned it to the front desk, he was rude and combative(and he was in a wheelchair himself!!!!!!!!). If he was a little compassionate( we were not looking for any compensation by any means)I would not even write a bad review but he was RUDE!!!!!! I understand going through a third party(hotels.com) but his lack of customer service was awful!!! He also refused to let us speak to the manager, and at this point we were not going to let the manager know about not getting an ADU but about how extremely rude he was. As someone who worked in the hotel/resort business for over 25 years, I would NOT want him to be the person to greet my guests!

Great Staff Super Friendly and very helpful

I booked this for my son as he was on his way home from college. He got there after over 10. hours on the road only to be told he couldn't stay there because he was under 21. No where did it ask me if he was over 21 or mention anything about the policy. We had to scramble to find another place that would allow him to stay. My husband called this place to talk with them and they kept saying that it's their policy and that most hotels have this policy. This is is second time making this 3-day trip to college and we've never had this issue. I was very disappointed that we didn't know ahead of time. I get the policy, but it would have been nice to know ahead of time and then I wouldn't have booked it.

Catching a plane . Close to airport . Just slightly of the interstate so more quiet then the other Boise airport hotels . Big rooms . Comfortable beds. Clean and functional workout room . Clean and working pool and jacuzzi. Breakfast included . It really is a great priced hotel for all you get . I am always willing to pay a bit more for extra comforts and this place doesn’t break the bank . Since it sits just below the vista near the airport / I84, it’s so quiet compared to other Boise area hotels .

We traveled to Boise for a concert and I picked the hotel hoping it was in a quiet area. It was the perfect location and our stay was great!

Everything positive was heavily outweighed by 2 things: Filthy carpet in the rooms & poor quality breakfasts that never varied the whole time we were there. The food was consistently cold. The muffins had a chemical smell & taste. The milk - although not expired was sour two different times. This tells me it wasn’t adequately refrigerated. Sausage was undercooked. Cold biscuits. Just crap food. The front desk peeps were super nice & helpful though so that helped.

It was very spacious and clean. The staff at the front desk was very friendly. Check in was easy. Front desk let us know the times for breakfast and pool without even having to ask.

Staff at check in were friendly. The location is conveniently close to the airport. The carpet in our room was stained. During our 5-night stay, we had just one change of towels, and trash was removed once, otherwise there was no maid service. The breakfast was pretty awful, with cold, undercooked breakfast sausages and cold egg product.

Easy booking. ( Expedia)Room was as described. Variety in breakfast, fresh with lots of get ready for the day protein. Gluten free options for me (necessary, not just preference). Quiet. Didn't use any of the recreational amenities. Just a tired traveler with work to do.

Poor cell service in the building, had to walk outside to get phone service. Internet was out one day, had to go to another location to work on computer. Two occasions had spoiled milk at the breakfast counter.

This hotel was ok, it wasn’t the best but not the worst. The carpet was wet in a lot areas for no reason. The breakfast was just ehhhh. They didn’t have any fresh fruit besides apples, the coffee was burnt and the food was bland. The pool and hot tub are old and warm down. The front desk staff was sweet and kind, very professional and helpful.

This hotel was easy access from the freeway. Checking was very quick and easy. The breakfast was great with a good variety. They had eggs, meat, waffles, biscuits and gravy, cereal, muffins and bagels.
