Comfort Inn Alton near I-255

pool has been out of service for over a year. we did not stay. got a refund and went next door

Crappy, first room the window had no screen and was cracked and the ac system didnt work, thankfully we got a second room, but the door was messed up and the upper door lock was broken, the pool was out of service, the onyl goodish thing was the "free breakfast" which was only waffles and coffe with bagels and cereal,

Nice place for the price, convenient location. The pool seems to be out of order every time I stay though. If you’re looking for a nice stay and aren’t looking for a place with a pool then everything is okay

There was no locks on outside of any of side door literally ANYBODY COULD WALK IN OFF STREETS‼️ ROOM was clean but break was nothing but cereal muffins and sausage and scrammbbled eggs which due to the unwatched children THE FOID WAS BASICALLY WASTED SO NO ONE ELSE COULD HAVE EGGS BREAD OR MEAT THEY LITERALLY JUST SAT ON PKATE AND PLAYED AROUND the whole reason we rented was to go swimming and their pool was out of order the entire time

The pool was something we booked this hotel for and didn't find out until we got there and it was out of order and you could tell it had been some time since it worked. Doesn't look like the hallway had been dusted or vacuumed in quite some time and the snack area was stocked at all.
