Location and available parking . The breakfast bar was horrible at best, no selection, no quality, and no creamer for coffee. We normally stay where there is free breakfast, we normally have to leave early and it is very convenient!

Defiantly on the small side, Check in was pleasant and quick, they serve hot breakfast and have a gaming room, very spacious clean, we had a refrig and microwave and sink. Nice walk in shower, will come back if in the area of Flora.

The room I was placed in was dirty as it hadn't been vacuumed, dusty and the tub was filthy full of hair and other gross things. I asked to move and I was moved and then I found out upon checkout that I was up charged because they moved me to a bigger room. Still waiting for the manager to process my requested difference as it wasn't my fault I had to be moved. Good water pressure, hard bed, hard to regulate the temperature because it was either too hot or too cold by 1°. The 2nd room I was placed in hadn't been vacuumed either, and neither was my colleagues room, which was also dirty. They only have one housekeeper from what I was told, and they didn't show up yesterday so I couldn't get a box of Kleenex for my entire stay. Front desk did not have access. The guy at the desk was polite.

I don’t believe this place has been upgraded since they first opened. The bathroom door looked like something attacked the bottom of it, the sheet on the bed was ripped and I kept getting my foot caught in it, and there was a smell in the room and a damprid bag hanging. Cobwebs in bathroom and areas that really needed attention in the bathroom. No one at the front desk often.

This property had a 8.7 favorable rating so we booked it. We usually find review ratings reliable. This was not the case. When looking over our room, we found multiple stains and leftover crud of some unknown food item on the couch. The chairs were stained as well. The coffee pot was nasty. I will NEVER stay at that hotel again, and I will definitely NOT eat anything there! My room was infested with bugs, and the only thing the staff could tell me is that it was harvest season, and on that end of the hotel, the bugs would get into the rooms. I'm not talking about small bugs, these were very large bugs, and I killed 7 of them between 1:15am and 1:45am in the morning. I wanted to leave the hotel, but since it was so late, they offered to moved me to a different room on a different floor. I still was unable to sleep, because I kept replaying the bugs in my head that I had already seen and killed. When the staff came to my room to change me to another room, there was another bug crawling on the wall at that time. I am truly traumatized about staying in hotels after my experience at the Best Western in Flora, Illinois.

This is the best hotel in the surrounding area. I back tracked just to stay here another night because it was by far the best choice from Flora to Vincennes. The cost is reasonable and the hotel is very clean. The breakfast was superb as well. The staff was awesome and I met and spoke to three different staff members so I'm not saying this just about one person. They really made me feel like a valued guest. Everything in my room worked properly and it was very clean. I could not hear other guests so my stay was restful and peaceful. Thank you BW Flora!

The bathroom had bugs in it when we entered the room and had to call front desk to clean them up. There was no place to charge our cell phones. The cable was horrible, not many choices in channels. The bathroom was a disaster the toilet was broke, the faucet in the tub was coming apart. Was worried about taking a shower in it. Was not something that we wanted to stay in after 8 hours in a car to get there! The only decent thing I can say about the place, the guy that checked us in was so nice and helpful. Too bad rest of staff can't be the same. Housekeeping didn't believe in dusting or a lot of cleaning.

The staff was very pleasant and the free breakfast was nice and had a decent selection to choose from. The room was spacious but the beds were not super comfortable. My only real complaint was the condition of the bathrooms. Our shower was basically a single stream of water and the fixtures looked like they were barely hanging onto the wall. The bathrooms could definitely use some work. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.

The beds were a little too firm and the pillows too soft so it was difficult to find a comfortable position to sleep. Toilet in the bathroom was older and very small. Air conditioning was nice and cold. The breakfast was fresh and hot and had a good variety.

We will leave the shower head that could not be switched to tub spout and the TV that was not programmed with the remote out of this review, let's talk about the noisy pipes that banged and clanged during our 2 night stay. The desk was told about it the first morning and I was told that management would have to take care it. The desk was told about it again this morning during checkout and we were asked why we didn't say anything about it the first morning. I explained that we had. Then we were asked if we were offered a room switch. We were not. I thought there just might an offer to discount our stay. We were not. But we did get a "sorry about that". We were not the only ones that complained.

This is the best hotel in the surrounding area. I back tracked just to stay here another night because it was by far the best choice from Flora to Vincennes. The cost is reasonable and the hotel is very clean. The breakfast was superb as well. The staff was awesome and I met and spoke to three different staff members so I'm not saying this just about one person. They really made me feel like a valued guest. Everything in my room worked properly and it was very clean. I could not hear other guests so my stay was restful and peaceful. Thank you BW Flora!

I'm not sure why this hotel gets such great reviews. It is average at best, and overpriced for what it is and the area. Flora is a typical mid west town with little to do. This was a one night stop and we should have chosen a different area to stay. There is nothing outstanding about this hotel or the staff. It wasn't worth the price. Will not stay here again.

Location and available parking . The breakfast bar was horrible at best, no selection, no quality, and no creamer for coffee. We normally stay where there is free breakfast, we normally have to leave early and it is very convenient!

Room was not properly prepared on arrival. Pillows all on a chair, missing items like coffee and toiletry, towels. Next day when we left we put the -make up room - sign on the door handle. It was still there when we returned that evening and the card didn't work, so we had to get another on to get in our untouched room and go get towels. All this was a totally different experience for me with the impeccably clean Best Western I am used too. I love coffee and, even the coffee was bad and, also the Breakfast was terrible.

The beds were a little too firm and the pillows too soft so it was difficult to find a comfortable position to sleep. Toilet in the bathroom was older and very small. Air conditioning was nice and cold. The breakfast was fresh and hot and had a good variety.

Staff was courteous. Room was average, but sufficient. TV worked on the first, but not the second day. No washcloths were in the room, but the front desk gave me 3. Breakfast was below average. Biscuits were dry and crumbly. Yogurt was good.

Everything was good , we were told they are in the middle of remodeling so small things but understand if remodeling. Breakfast was good, however need to keep up better when things run low regardless of the time. Arrived at 9:30 (open till 10) but one biscuit 4 slices of bacon a few eggs, not replenished. Day two one biscuit 4 eggs and 5 sausage ( there are 2 of us) Day 3 we just went to Mc Donald's. I guess timing is everything. Clean up is promptly at 10, they won't chase you out, but packing up everything.

The front desk associate was excellent when I checked in. I change my stay date to a day later and it had passed my cancellation/change agreement. The front desk was super friendly and obliging when I called and explained my situation. I was not charge an extra fee.

Room had all kinds of bugs they must have sprayed some were dead. TV microwave and fridge were not even hooked up. Air conditioner worked. After an 11 hour drive and paying through you made it impossible to go somewhere else. Counter girl felt terrible because her boss got mad over the phone she took pics of bugs I killed and threw in toilet, it was a roach, but there were all kinds of bugs walking around. I have a service dog and there was no place to state that your apartment. ap. So we looked it up on line and it confirmed that they are service animal fine. It was overall horrible, I picked there because I have the best western Ap. I like staying there normally.
