The room I was placed in was dirty as it hadn't been vacuumed, dusty and the tub was filthy full of hair and other gross things. I asked to move and I was moved and then I found out upon checkout that I was up charged because they moved me to a bigger room. Still waiting for the manager to process my requested difference as it wasn't my fault I had to be moved. Good water pressure, hard bed, hard to regulate the temperature because it was either too hot or too cold by 1°. The 2nd room I was placed in hadn't been vacuumed either, and neither was my colleagues room, which was also dirty. They only have one housekeeper from what I was told, and they didn't show up yesterday so I couldn't get a box of Kleenex for my entire stay. Front desk did not have access. The guy at the desk was polite.

I don’t believe this place has been upgraded since they first opened. The bathroom door looked like something attacked the bottom of it, the sheet on the bed was ripped and I kept getting my foot caught in it, and there was a smell in the room and a damprid bag hanging. Cobwebs in bathroom and areas that really needed attention in the bathroom. No one at the front desk often.

This property had a 8.7 favorable rating so we booked it. We usually find review ratings reliable. This was not the case. When looking over our room, we found multiple stains and leftover crud of some unknown food item on the couch. The chairs were stained as well. The coffee pot was nasty. The bed sheets appeared that they hadnt been washed. The only positive was the young lady checking us in. The free coffee was watered down. We skipped breakfast figuring the kitchen might have resembled our room. The owners must not care about the customers.

I will NEVER stay at that hotel again, and I will definitely NOT eat anything there! My room was infested with bugs, and the only thing the staff could tell me is that it was harvest season, and on that end of the hotel, the bugs would get into the rooms. I'm not talking about small bugs, these were very large bugs, and I killed 7 of them between 1:15am and 1:45am in the morning. I wanted to leave the hotel, but since it was so late, they offered to moved me to a different room on a different floor. I still was unable to sleep, because I kept replaying the bugs in my head that I had already seen and killed. When the staff came to my room to change me to another room, there was another bug crawling on the wall at that time. I am truly traumatized about staying in hotels after my experience at the Best Western in Flora, Illinois.

This is the best hotel in the surrounding area. I back tracked just to stay here another night because it was by far the best choice from Flora to Vincennes. The cost is reasonable and the hotel is very clean. The breakfast was superb as well. The staff was awesome and I met and spoke to three different staff members so I'm not saying this just about one person. They really made me feel like a valued guest. Everything in my room worked properly and it was very clean. I could not hear other guests so my stay was restful and peaceful. Thank you BW Flora!

The bathroom had bugs in it when we entered the room and had to call front desk to clean them up. There was no place to charge our cell phones. The cable was horrible, not many choices in channels. The bathroom was a disaster the toilet was broke, the faucet in the tub was coming apart. Was worried about taking a shower in it. Was not something that we wanted to stay in after 8 hours in a car to get there! The only decent thing I can say about the place, the guy that checked us in was so nice and helpful. Too bad rest of staff can't be the same. Housekeeping didn't believe in dusting or a lot of cleaning.
