The property outside is unkept. Tall grass, a pile of gravel In parking lot. Theres a leak at the front door from the ceiling. Just dripping away. The smell when you come in is awful. The towels and sheets were stained so we went to the Dollar General (only store around) and bought sheets. If there were other options we would have left. It is run down and in need of new sheets, and towels at the very least. We would never consider coming back to that town or hotel.

What can you say? It’s a Super 8! The bed pillows are tiny, The hot tub did not drain unless I held the lever in place. There was a hole in the wall for a door stopper, and the hallways smelled strongly like Middle Eastern spices and body odor. But they were considerably clean, with plenty of towels in room.

The room was clean, comfortable bed and pillows, washable bedspread. Frig worked. What I didn't care for was that there is no light by the desk however I fixed that by moving the standing lamp from across the room. I'm in a one bed room--the space where the other bed would be is just a vacant space--would be nice to have a chair & ottoman. But that's just being picky--the room was nice and the owner/operators were very nice and accomodating. Excellent parking, park bench out front is a nice touch.

The Super 8 in Gilman has nothing super about it. The staff was nice enough, but the rooms are severely overpriced for the status of the rooms. I asked to move rooms once arrived due to uncleanliness. Carpets and sheets were dirty and stained. (Found what google classifies as a bedbug stain on our sheets) Drywall remnants were all along the baseboards. Spider webs with living spiders. Urine on the toilet, literal pools and drips. Nail clippings in the microwave cubby. Food/candy wrappers and dropped candy all along the bed frame. Dust everywhere and dingy must and mildew smell. And no elevator so if you’re traveling heavy and with kids, and stay on the 2nd floor, you have to lug all your luggage up a flight of stairs. I wouldn’t stay here again if they paid me to stay.

The stay was alright but the bathroom in room 120 the wall were dirty, there was stuff waped on them by the toilet paper. The shower had hair in it which wasn't our hair. I figure there would have been a better breakfast selection, i thought i saw something about a hot tub but no hot tub.

The hotel was very clean and staff was friendly and polite even maid was polite and did excellent job with making sure hotel was cleaned orderly. Only issue I had was for a room that had two guest in one room they only had one desk chair that rolled and any time you moved in it even a little it creaked and made nose that disnget annoying after while and eventually one of just sat on bed with back against wall and other one sat on floor back against bed. Room nees either a comfortable chair besides desk roller or maybe a live seat for 2 people to sit on and watch tv. So you don't feel like you have to be in bed all day when there. But over all it's a great place and would stay again either way

The room was ok, nothing spectacular. It wasn’t horrendously dirty, but it wasn’t the clean I want or expect for what is charged. The breakfast in the morning was TERRIBLE. No staff to help, and the coffee maker wouldn’t work. When I tried to get Orange juice, the machine spit out bugs and pieces of bugs mixed with a few drops of liquid. I wanted to throw up when I looked in my cup. The staff seemed to have no idea what was going on at any point during my stay, or just wasn’t around. Even ringing the bell or calling for someone didn’t get a response for any of us that tried.

Property is nice and clean Room was nice and clean Bed was good But there’s a train track and every time a train would pass by it will blow its horn, loud horn and more that once at a time , we stayed one night only and we heard that train 4-5 times,really late and really early, this is the only bad experience I had at this hotel Breakfast included was not really appealing, but that’s just me Staff was nice at check in

Next time, I will try the other motel in town. They tried to charge me extra for my child. The keys didn't work and they weren't able to reprogram them. They suggested we come find them every time we needed to get in our room. This was a disappointment with even the lowest of expectations.

Says on website breakfast is offered. If you count Cereal and old bagels breakfast i guess it would be true. But for the price paid it was clean and quiet so still worth it.

The stay was alright but the bathroom in room 120 the wall were dirty, there was stuff waped on them by the toilet paper. The shower had hair in it which wasn't our hair. I figure there would have been a better breakfast selection, i thought i saw something about a hot tub but no hot tub.

Property is nice and clean Room was nice and clean Bed was good But there’s a train track and every time a train would pass by it will blow its horn, loud horn and more that once at a time , we stayed one night only and we heard that train 4-5 times,really late and really early, this is the only bad experience I had at this hotel Breakfast included was not really appealing, but that’s just me Staff was nice at check in

Sleeping was ok. Breakfast had a need for improvement. The waffle maker was turned off so that left 2 choices for cereal, yogurt, or a bagel.

The room was ok, nothing spectacular. It wasn’t horrendously dirty, but it wasn’t the clean I want or expect for what is charged. The breakfast in the morning was TERRIBLE. No staff to help, and the coffee maker wouldn’t work. When I tried to get Orange juice, the machine spit out bugs and pieces of bugs mixed with a few drops of liquid. I wanted to throw up when I looked in my cup. The staff seemed to have no idea what was going on at any point during my stay, or just wasn’t around. Even ringing the bell or calling for someone didn’t get a response for any of us that tried.

During this trip, my husband and I had stayed in other Super 8's. This Super 8 was the best one to date. We travel with a dog so Super 8 was the best choice for us. The entry, desk area and breakfast area was very clean upon arrival. The man at the front desk was very helpful in checking us in. Our room was clean and comfortable. Although the room needs updating it has been well taken care of. If we are in the area again, we will stay here!

The staff was not really friendly. Possible language barrier. The breakfast was inadequate. There was no juice or tea bags for tea. No one around to ask. We choose this location for the location near an event we were going to. I have never saw pillows that small before. When we opened the door there was a hole behind the door that they knew about, cigarette burn in couch and stains on comforter. The bathroom was very tight. I would say we won't be staying there again. Also the location is next to the train tracks and runs all day.

NO ice, machine not working. LOUD party outside in back of motel. Cigarette butts all over the parking lot . Haven't figured out the type bug in our room. Unsure why check in person throught they needed to take a picture of my driver's license with there personal phone.

The hotel was clean enough. The water pressure was really low. The shower head was barely above my head. I wanted afternoon tea but the hot water machine in the lobby was turned off. When asked I was told it was only for breakfast. I would have used the small coffee maker in my room to heat water but when I pulled out the tray, there was a wet coffee bag in it. The under side of the tray area was nasty, so no afternoon tea. I asked for a refund for the days I'd paid for and wasn't going to use but was refused. They said it was because I reserved through Hotels.com, third party. Hotels.com reached out to Super 8 but they still refused to refund the remaining days. I paid for 5 days and stayed 2. My friend passed away the day I left. Stay at your own risk.
