We were in town to see family and wanted a hotel with a pool to relax in. Immediately after check-in, we got changed and went to the pool. The pool room smelled strange. There were giant balls of hair floating in the pool and it did not seem like the filters were on. I used a skimmer to collect the hair but would not use my hands to get it all in the garbage. The walls of the pool had a dark scum on them. My 9 year old saw people's names carved in the scum on the tiles. We stayed in like 15 minutes then were so grossed out we left. I reported the condition to the desk. We changed for bed after returning and found the TV did not work. We noticed a cord hanging down. We did not see an easy way to putting it in to the wall mounted tv so we called the desk. The first thing he said was accused us of pulling it out. We absolutely did not. After about 30 minutes and him try, the staffer got it to work. Ready for bed and the room was hot. We had not seen a thermostat and had not touched the wall unit yet. We tried to get it going. It powered up but did not seem to stay on. We had to push the circuit button on the plug a few times to get air moving. It seemed to fail in the middle of the night with us trying to figure out how to make it work at 3 am in a hot room. Breakfast in the morning was lackluster. The automatic pancake machine did not really work without staff coming and poking it. The hot food was not very hot. Best Westerns usually are better quality but not this one

We checked in a little before 9pm. My daughter was looking forward to the pool but they closed at 9 so she only had a few minutes. I let her go in and front service came to lock the doors and saw she was still there. They let her stay an extra 15 minutes since we arrived late and she was thrilled. Very friendly staff, room was in great condition. We will definitely stay here again.

Did not like our stay at all. Room was not very clean , problems with TV, pool towels were the size of a hand towel(and stained) breakfast are was crowded with too many tables and floor was incredibly sticky. Would not stay again. Employees not very professional to say the least.

This hotel is right off the highway but still very quiet. My bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. It has a small but long pool so I was able to swim some laps. Nobody else was using the pool.

Overall the stay was fine, but I asked for a wake up call the last day, and I didn’t get it. I woke up 45 minutes later than I planned. I didn’t have time for breakfast, I was rushing around trying to get organized. Luckily traffic was better than expected to get downtown. So it was good except the wake up call.

I wish i didnt book this room immediately when we arrived they said my son was considered an adult he's 15 when i booked the room I added that he was 15 they claim it was a fee tgey decided not to charge me everything was a back and forth abt whatbwe cld or cldnt do in the Hotel irritated theybeven said we cldnt eat breafast in our room when ive never heard that wldnt book them again

My check in experience was the most smooth one I’ve had yet! The hotel was cleaned well, it could use some upgrades but overall great for the price! We utilized this hotel for the entire weekend to visit Chicago. It offered us a close drive without feeling crowded or like we were in a big city. The beds were surprisingly comfortable, everything in our room worked fantastically.

Hotel was fine. Not the best, not the worse....wife saw a cockroach as we were packing to leave. Breakfast was ok. Good location. Front desk person was not rude, but not friendly.

The desk clerks were very friendly, one particular breakfast staff was very friendly and conversational. Eggs and sausage links and patties were barely room temperature unless they were freshly replenished of which I was fortunate to have some of. The toilet paper holder in my room was loose and partially hanging and the desk in the room has what appears to be smeared with superglue or something like it that I couldn’t remove. The stopper in the bathroom sink wouldn’t close tightly so I wasn’t able to run water that the sink would hold, it just drained. I appreciate the close handicap parking as my travel companion is disabled.

We were in town to see family and wanted a hotel with a pool to relax in. Immediately after check-in, we got changed and went to the pool. The pool room smelled strange. There were giant balls of hair floating in the pool and it did not seem like the filters were on. I used a skimmer to collect the hair but would not use my hands to get it all in the garbage. The walls of the pool had a dark scum on them. My 9 year old saw people's names carved in the scum on the tiles. We stayed in like 15 minutes then were so grossed out we left. I reported the condition to the desk. We changed for bed after returning and found the TV did not work. We noticed a cord hanging down. We did not see an easy way to putting it in to the wall mounted tv so we called the desk. The first thing he said was accused us of pulling it out. We absolutely did not. After about 30 minutes and him try, the staffer got it to work. Ready for bed and the room was hot. We had not seen a thermostat and had not touched the wall unit yet. We tried to get it going. It powered up but did not seem to stay on. We had to push the circuit button on the plug a few times to get air moving. It seemed to fail in the middle of the night with us trying to figure out how to make it work at 3 am in a hot room. Breakfast in the morning was lackluster. The automatic pancake machine did not really work without staff coming and poking it. The hot food was not very hot. Best Westerns usually are better quality but not this one

This was probably one of the worse rooms I’ve had in the last years of traveling. The bed was terrible. Sheets stained and mattress was sagging so bad I had to lay in a hole. The towels were grey instead of white. And had holes in them. I would never have stayed there except for being exhausted from traveling. Will never stay there again. I couldn’t believe the hotel had a bed in such terrible shape in the room. Found several long black hairs in room and bathroom. So very disappointed!!!

I'm not the best one to ask to write a review. I got into Chicago and headed straight to a ballgame. I didn't get to the property until 11:20 p.m. The person at the desk was nice, and I got checked in pretty quickly. The outside door next to my room didn't unlock using the key, which was annoying, but whatever. The room was nice enough for the sleep I required. The breakfast was adequate, but warm. I guess the only thing was there was no body wash in the shower, but I brought my own, so it really didn't matter. For the price and location, I'd stay again. It's super close to I-55 and I-80, so a perfect travel spot.
