Property inside was great, perfect weekend for us, clean rooms, safe, and starbucks or dining option. The parking lot was dirty, overgrown, looks unsafe, and the front entrance was dirty, trash cans not emptied. Someone threw up at the trash can and it wasn't cleaned up for the 3 days I was there. Does management even survey what the Customer experiences???

Very UNSAFE!! My truck was broken into along with 8 other vehicles along with one person being robbed at gun point. Smashed the windows out and still charged me for parking each nite. Will not go back

Very clean and comfortable room, amazing onsite restaurant (The Benchmark), friendly and welcoming staff. I only wish that the room had included complimentary WiFi.

We thought the room was attractive and comfortable. The meal we had at the hotel was delicious. The fitness room was well equipped. The shuttle service to and from the airport was a nice perk. Our only complaint was that the beautiful shower had large format tile that was slippery for older travelers.

Great stay near the airport. The room was nice and very clean. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is conveniently located close to the airport. Parking costs $37, but we booked a room that included parking, which was a great deal and very convenient. Highly recommended.

Great location since it’s so close to the airport. They have a shuttle that runs every 20 minutes. The room was so spacious and it had all the amenities. The only two things that need improvement are: 1. The mattress was too lumpy 2. The floor was dirty. There was a lot of dust and it didn’t look like it had been vacuumed.

Conveniently located. I appreciated the shuttle, which leaves on the half hour to get me there. But it wasn't very clean -- there was a lot of hair that was not mine that was throughout the facility. Giant hairball on the rug the vacuum didn't pick up, hair in the shower, hair on the bathroom floor and on the vanity. it just signals that it wasn't well tended to. There was also a large stain on one of the queen beds.

Shopping outlets nearby. Room service for breakfast and until 11pm. Excellent stay, best bed I’ve ever stayed in a I usually stay in 5 star hotels. 10/10 could not be happier with my stay

This property sort of had an issue with Doors. My Shower door just slid open as if the whole building was slanted, the bathroom door didn't shut all the way, the door to the room closes a little too fast and a little too hard. Weird doors. Also while there was a fridge, due to newtons law of conservation of amenities there was no microwave. The bed was uncomfortable like most marriot properties are now and the pillows were pretty lumpy. The bedding was weird you could either have 1 top sheet, 2 top sheets, or the heaviest comforter I've ever used. Overall it is close to the airport and the shuttle driver played a hilarious mix of early 2000's emo rock so the downsides can almost be forgiven but I wouldn't stay there unless you reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeallly need to be close to the airport

The elevators provided a smooth ride. The room was spacious. The room was quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. One thing we disliked was the lighting in the room. It seemed dark unless all of the lights were on.

BEWARE: NO FREE WIFI!! That’s right, at this hotel it’s apparently still 1999 because Wi-Fi costs $15. I had to call the front desk on my mobile phone (the in room phone doesn’t work) who told me that I could get a free wifi access code if I had an account. I do have a Marriott account (they apparently own Westin now) but haven’t used it in years. I went through elaborate hurdles to get into the account on my phone (there is of course no way to login on my computer, because I can’t get online). But once I was finally logged in, there was no obvious way to get this alleged code. What a waste of time. Never again! Never again for Westin, never again for Marriott Bonvoy. Also, the room is dingy and not very nice. The shower door makes a terrible noise and won’t stay open. The toilet paper holder is broken. The room never gets truly dark at night because of a light under the bathroom sink and coming in from under the door. This place is a corporate dump. AVOID.

The hotel stay was pretty good. The room was very clean but there was no microwave in the room and the bed stand was so small my boyfriend and I could hardly fit anything on it (we had to share one small bed stand). We had never been in a hotel where you had to pay for Wi-Fi so that was strange and no free breakfast, but the staff was all very friendly. I really liked the water feature near the front and how the place was decorated overall.

I love westin and I like everything that’s where I stay when I travel. This time I had the worst customer service @ the front desk This only one employee but her communication skill is very poor, rude and condescending 3 different times even when I ask for the manager to return a phone charger she had a problem with it. I had to ask another lady to get the manager for me. This morning the same young lady did my check out process it was bad no eye contact at all. Then I came back on purpose to ask about the shuttle service to give her a chance to correct her reaction, but again she gave me a smart ass answer . I westin 4 stars plus hotel but I have 3. it wasn’t in one occasion multiple times clearly she needs some kind of customer service training.she doesn’t look like she is willing to make a minimum effort to speak to customer when in fact that is part of the job. I was going to speak to someone but I didn’t want miss my flight. If westin wants to fix it they can find out who processed my check out. Thanks

The Weston O'Hare went from being a great experience to a horrible one trying to check out as I am handicapped with a herniated disc in my back. I am not allowed to pick up heavy items. I requested a luggage cart to get my things down from the 9th floor and the gentleman with the long colored fingernails said he didn't have a luggage cart and can't get me one. I told him I have an injured back and meed help getting my clothes to the car and he was very rude and unhelpful. to me! Very unacceptble!

The hotel was truly gorgeous! My problems with the hotel were checking in. After inserting my card to pay and the monies being taken out, I was told to insert again. After several times, I was told that I had not paid even though there was a pending charge. The hotel told me to call my bank and my bank told me to talk To the hotel. There was so much stress and back and forth and I ended up having to use a completely different card. I checked out over the weekend and now there are 2 pending charges for the same amount.

A estada no hotel foi no geral boa, porém você fica com uma impressão ruim quando um fato negativo acontece. Reservei um quarto com café da manhã incluso. No check-in recebi um voucher de café da manhã (o que já achei estranho porque demonstrou que existe clientes com tratamento diferente entre os hóspedes). Ao fazer o checkout, não houve cobrança, porém no outro dia identifiquei quase 70 dólares de cobrança indevida, não autorizada, do café da manhã que já estava pago. Entrei em contato para resolver essa situação, porém uma resposta genérica, impessoal e sem solução foi enviada. O reembolso não foi feito. Por isso escrevo essa informação, já que honestidade eu prezo demais. Espero que outros clientes não passem por isso.

Great stay near the airport. The room was nice and very clean. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is conveniently located close to the airport. Parking costs $37, but we booked a room that included parking, which was a great deal and very convenient. Highly recommended.

Westin is a great hotel, clean, feels modern even though I think it’s an older hotel. It was also a great location, just over a block to the L station and not too terribly far from the convention center, which was the reason we were there. It’s a good hike though, so if you have any mobility issues and you’re trying to walk to the convention center it might be too much of a hike. Other than that, I just had two issues with it: - you’re not able to control whether or not you have “heat” or “cool” running. We were there in winter and the room was too hot, made it really hard to sleep. We could only get the temp down to 65 and there was no way to turn the “cool” option on. Ok fine, we tried turning it off…it got unbearably stuffy. We tried opening the window to get fresh air in…it’s in the direct path of landing airplanes at O’Hare so having the window open was incredibly loud any time a plane went over. Not too much of a problem for me as I’m a heavy sleeper once I’m asleep, but it kept my partner awake until we had to close it…then we were both kept awake because of how hot it got in the room. -the shower floor has no grip and was incredibly slippery. I ended up having to put a towel down inside the shower while I showered so I wouldn’t slip. Maybe add a rubber mat to the bathroom so people don’t slip in the shower. Again overall this was a great hotel, just not sure if we’d stay there again because of the temperature issues.

The room was excellent! Very quiet despite the activities taking place in the lobby! Very clean and comfortable. And we really appreciated the fact that the hotel shuttle ran from the airport 24 hours, a very welcome thing after a day of terrible air travel, delays and cancelations. My only regret is that we only needed to spend one night, certainly would have liked to have stayed longer given the wonderful accommodations and top notch customer service! Will definitely stay here when we come back to Chicago for a longer visit!

The hot tub was very dirty and only one jet worked. The Wi-Fi was not free, there was no sofa bed, the hotel did not smell good, the front desk employees were not friendly, there was no microwave, and breakfast was expensive. Not worth the money.

I had a great stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the restaurant/bar, the food was excellent. There's also a nice lobby lounge area next to it.

I gave my bags to the front desk to store, when I came back they were gone. Police were called to the hotel and security footage shows someone stealing my bags and leaving the building. All my valuables were in there. The hotel was AWFUL. They didn’t take any responsibility and said that when you store bags with them, they aren’t liable for loss! They didn’t apologize or even offer to comp anything! They didn’t ask if I needed a toothbrush or anything to help me out. The Westin and the entire Marriott should be ashamed of themselves. Absolute low class operation. I will never stay at a Westin property again. I’m still filing police reports to this day
