Always a great place to stay for our girls weekend, nice layout, staff are very accommodating. My one suggestion would be to keep the temp cooler in the workout room, especially with no fan built into the treadmill. Otherwise a great stay.

5 dollar parking fee after the fact. Yea I see it in the fine print now. Just figured they would add that into their cost instead of being sneeky about it. Didnt even tell me about it when I checked in or out. Just charged it to the card after I checked out. Just seems slimy. Plus the pool is never open. Seems like they are not doing anything to improve their property. I felt like they are just doing the bare min and milk this cash cow for everything its worth.

Unfortunately, the pool was closed for chemical problems during my entire stay, and I was unable to use it even once. This amenity was the deciding factor in selecting this property, to relax in the mornings with my kids for one last family vacation before my oldest son left for deployment. This property location was an hour drive from the Navy base, so I incurred extra expenses for a rental car, gas, tolls, lost sleep driving and lost the main purpose of booking this hotel. Since the advertised amenity was not provided, I requested a partial refund and was denied. I’m not very happy about this at all.

Checked and got a room with a non functioning toilet then got moved to a new room. This room had a slip cover over sofa and headboard in one room that was falling apart. Internet did not work in room so I need to take all my business calls from the breakfast area with music blaring overhead. Only 2 spoons in a room meant for 4. Location advertised a pool but it was not open - just had rain water in it. Every morning breakfast was gone by 8:15 and not restocked. Advertised herbal tea- there was only Lupton, advertised potatoes - was there 5 days and never saw a potato. Staff was very friendly.

I loved the apartment feel of the property. The grill was a plus, the staff assisted with everything we needed as possible. The pool was closed but of course since it was an outdoor.

The value for 2 full suites was great. But even though 2 were booked together, we were buildings apart. The room was clean except for the carpet. The carpets were so dirty that our socks turned brown.

This property is serviceable, and has good location and a very nice breakfast and front desk staff going for it. Working against it is a very average room and other amenities quality. This feels more like a ho-hum airbnb that is well worn, but decently clean with all the basics present. Our room had a stained and very worn couch, headboard throw pillows, and carpets. Baseboards were filthy, and there was dust all over the tv, lampshades and cobwebs in the vents. Our shower and sink soaps/shampoos were all empty. The "gym" had three cardio machines, cobwebs in every corner, no towels, sanitizer, wipes or water (containers for all, but empty). Overall the room is passable, but not great. Plusses include a very nice lobby with a good breakfast, well outfitted kitchen in the room, convenient parking by each room as it is set up like an apartment complex, and close to all area attractions.

We came here 2 years ago and had a great experience with just a couple quirks that we reported at check out (one was what looked like small mold spores in the bathroom that we were told would be handled immediately). So, naturally we sought out the same location for our trip back. Bad idea. From dried urine in the bathroom, someone’s leftover eyelashes by the coat rack, dead bugs on the wall, no batteries in the remotes, no sink shield over the disposal, no way to use the phones, the list goes on and on. Not to mention, the mold multiplied and then some. I’m honestly disgusted that we slept there but we didn’t even arrive until after 9pm and had two little to get in bed. 10/10 will not recommend or return. If we had more than one nights reservation, we would have cancelled and moved for the rest of the trip.

It’s a really nice property. My family and I checked in at almost 11:00 pm. The first room we got to, had a smell of gas. It was very overpowering so they switched us rooms. The second room had hair on the sheets under the blanket. So they moved us to another room, 3 rooms in under an hour. Our third room was decent, but not great. I left my pants in the first room, which I received in the morning. The manager was able to smell the room and agreed that we should have been moved. When I returned to my room I went to the kitchen and noticed all the yucky imperfections. I opened up the dishwasher and it had dirty dishes and food in it. After closing the dishwasher door, I looked down and saw a roach. At that point I requested a refund and checked out. I received my refund and our four day trip was cut down to one day. The manager was very prompt and nice. But the rooms are a disgusting mess and waste of money.

Staff was awesome. Male front desk was respectful and kind. (Female with accent was fine). Our room was terrible. Stains all over carpet and ceiling. Furniture tattered and torn. Not sitable. Couch was much worse. Bathroom nasty. Spiders and cobwebs everywhere. They have 25% off. Huge disappointment. Not at all what Expedia described.

The stay was overall good but there were spiders in the lining the office gave me for my children to sleep on my son jumped up as he was getting ready for bed a spider!!! Call the front office and they office told me we’ll have to wait until the morning for maintenance and the next morning maintenance came sprayed even more appeared once we returned bck to the room we killed over 12 spiders.

This property is in a good/quiet location. Unfortunately, it is in poor condition. The mattresses are squishy, the walls are filthy, the carpet is gross and the furniture is dilapidated. Our room smelled like cigarette smoke covered up by deodorizer. I would not stay here again.

Staff was excellent, breakfast was great. However the bathroom could have been swept. There was hair all over the floor behind the door. There was also crumbs or something on the couch and desk chair. The headboard should be replaced since it's peeling. And maybe shampoo the carpet.

In the past it was nice. Things have changed for the worse. Check in was ok but it went down hill from there. The main bedroom had a used condom next to a broken finger nail on the floor.There was a huge soiled stain on the carpeting, table was dirty bed linen was wrinkled and dirty. We traveled with toddlers & were happy that we saw the used condom before them. I called the front desk & was told there weren’t any rooms available to switch to but to check back in the morning. I asked for new linen & I changed all beds, disinfected room, disposed of the used condom & fingernail, & cleaned the soiled spot on the rug. The next day I took pictures & brought to the office. Courtney the desk agent was appalled by the pictures as we were & she said this wasn’t how the rooms were supposed to look. She said a room was available but it was in a different building which was not close to the building where the current room is located. She said the manager Haley would not be here until Monday but she would send her the pictures so adjustments could be made. On Monday Haley finally called but it was not to discuss the condition of the room. She called to ask me to come to the office to complete check in paperwork for the stay. I asked her if she was aware of the issues & she said yes. Before I could even get to the office she charged my credit card. She said she could not give any adjustments on the bill & she didn’t. She showed no empathy & had no customer service skills.

My check-in experience was nice and accommodating for my early arrival and higher floor request. The lobby and area around the property seemed quiet during the day, but it was pretty loud at night. It sounded like someone was arguing. The unit where we stayed was outdated. The couch and chairs in the front room were old, worn & dirty. The carpet in the entry to one of the bedrooms was very frayed. The entire carpet had a dirty feel with various stains throughout the unit. One of the bedroom closets was not completely cleaned, as there was a sock on the floor and a used towel on the shelf. The interior could definitely use some updating.

In major need of updating. Faucet on kitchen sink was loose, falling off. Headboard scratched up. The HVAC system terrible. Either too hot or too cold, impossible to get the temp right. Lousy toiletry options. Conditioner pump in shower was clogged/did not work..

The room next to ours was having a birthday party and there was a dozen kids running and yelling up and down the stairs and in front of our bedroom window and room door from 7 until after midnight and the staff did nothing to stop it even though they said they were not allowed to have a party. It wasn't until two hours after the 10 pm quiet time that they made them be quiet after I said I was going to call the police.

This was a last minute reservation and never been to the hotel before. Great location in Schaumburg near shopping and many dining options. No problem with the checkin but then couldn't find the room. The man tried to make it better but after 45minutes he left thinking that it was working. Unfortunately it was not working . The pool was closed as well and that's what we came there for in the 1st place. Didn't make any free breakfast for the hours were early. They're currently new owners and hope they'll make some needed improvements.

As soon as I arrived there, I gave my license which will say that I’m over 21 to anyone who can read the date that says when someone will be over 21 (passed this age a long time ago). I was questioned if I was over 21 and then told that I’d have a lot of trouble getting into clubs in Chicago with my license (never had any trouble anywhere else because they read the date I mentioned previously). I also thought it was weird to assume I’d be going clubbing (I’m not really a party person so I rarely do that, only do that when I am with my family). I went there to go to the zoo, the aquarium, and just relax with my boyfriend. So now I enter the room, which smelled good and I loved that it had a full kitchen with an oven BUT there were holes in the walls, scuff marks, the headboard was deteriorating, the shower wouldn’t fully transfer to the shower head so the pressure was weak and it was tepid, the same for the sink, the door to the room wouldn’t fully close, the tvs were outdated, and the light above the dining table would keep going darker then brighter. I also didn’t like that I had to go to the front desk for the extra blankets and pillows you usually get in the room for a sofa bed. The whole room needs renovation. I will say that the bed was comfortable and I slept good because of it. The breakfast wasn’t good at all, but I’m not a big fan of powdered eggs or oatmeal with water. To each their own with that one. Overall, we will not be coming back.

Checked and got a room with a non functioning toilet then got moved to a new room. This room had a slip cover over sofa and headboard in one room that was falling apart. Internet did not work in room so I need to take all my business calls from the breakfast area with music blaring overhead. Only 2 spoons in a room meant for 4. Location advertised a pool but it was not open - just had rain water in it. Every morning breakfast was gone by 8:15 and not restocked. Advertised herbal tea- there was only Lupton, advertised potatoes - was there 5 days and never saw a potato. Staff was very friendly.

The front room carpet was worn and outdated, the couch and chair were vinyl. Everything was clean, no odors. Overall it was great! The carpet and couch isn’t as important as the bedrooms and kitchen.

This was our 2nd time at this property and this time very disappointed. We got into the room and realized there was no toilet paper so we called and they said well you have to come down to the office and get some. My response was why wasn’t there any and why do I have to come get it when there should have been some in the room!! Next there was no bedding in the room for the pull out couch so we called again later that evening and once again sorry you have to come get it!! The kitchen table had sticky crap all over it and the one shower had hair all over it! I spent around 900 for 4 nights and very disgusted by the way our room was it was like they didn’t really clean it!! Last but not least the pool wasn’t the cleanest and had leaves floating around!! I asked to speak to management and I was told someone would contact me but guess what nobody did!!!

The property was okay. Unfortunately it wasn’t as nice as we thought it would be, and there were several difficulties with check in, which took a while. Some of the guests ahead of us were also rude when we were checking in so I think that started it off a bit negatively. There wasn’t really a manager on site while we were there to help deal with issues. The cleanliness was okay, but the soaps were leaking which made it seem like they had been opened ahead of time. Overall it wasn’t the worst experience but it wasn’t the best either.

Place was very nice. My biggest riff was waitimg nearly half hr to be checked into our room. All they had was a sign at the desk, saying that the attendant stepped away to help a guest in their room. I waited for about 20 minutes, repeatedly calling the hotel Then I proceeded upstairs, thinking maybe they’ll be a cleaning lady or somebody up there There was some sort of receptionist upstairs, and she was the one that finally checked me in nearly a half an hour after I arrived at the hotel lobby desk

This use to be a very nice hotel. Things have changed. Rooms not clean, holes in the wall, carpeting stained, sofa worn with ripped up pillows that they put a covering over. Table and chairs wobbly. Room is supposed to be a home away from him with full kitchen and necessary items. The necessary items for very limited and worn. Grounds were not well maintained. Not what it use to be. Our room was not cleaned and although the hotel agent Courtney agreed, Haley the boss said no adjustments have been given for the inconvenience or u cleanliness of the room. Haley was very rude and did not have any proper customer service skills that is expected especially from a manger. She was rude.

Nice property and area. I like the fact that entrances are exterior. In a safe area so never felt unsafe coming in late at night. Im a walker/jogger/public transportation person. I was able to catch a bus ,PACE BUS 606, from the Rosemont Blue Line train to The Northwest Transportation Center and then walk about 15 minutes to the hotel. Woodfield Mall and Woodfiled shopping district was just a 20 minute walk away from the hotel and has all kinds of shopping and dining options. Will definitely stay here again. Thoroughly pleased.

Clean and comfortable room. Friendly staff. Stained carpet in living room area but otherwise very clean. Kitchen was well stocked with kitchen utensils etc. My husband went for breakfast 45 minutes before the end of breakfast time and a lot of foods were gone or almost gone. I mentioned it to the front desk and he said the person taking care of breakfast was new so hopefully this was resolved.

We stayed a Sonesta ES Suites Schaumburg for a family visit to Chicago. The suite was essentially a small apartment. Everything was well cleaned and the room was in good condition throughout the stay. The one concern I had was the first night, when temperatures dropped. We used the pull out bed and it did get fairly cold in the room the first night, regardless of the thermostat setting. The following nights did not seem to have this problem. Breakfast was provided in a common room next to the outdoor pool. Better than average seating arrangements and comfortable chairs. The menu was also above average with fresh hot items like sausages, eggs, and an amusing machine that generated generous sized pancakes on a small conveyor belt that my son found entertaining. General stay was pleasant, though I might bring an extra blanket or two depending on the season.

I cant wait to vist schaumburg again and stay at the sonesta. The room was spotless and fresh smelling. I liked the full kitchen with utensils but i did not cook anything, as i was on vacation and did not want too much domestic stuff to do :) breakfast every morning was good, lots to choose from every day and the coffee was delicious! Grubhub was my savior for tasty lunches and all was delivered within minutes. The bed was very comfortable i slept very well. The front desk staff was amazing both in and out. Five stars all around. One thing to please fix, the weather stripping seal around the door could be replaced/repaired, thank you!

This is not a hotel, it is extended stay. It's an old apartment building with musty "suites." The basketball court has no fencing, and the septic system was dug up, of which the cap was not recovered with the disturbed dirt. I checked in, went to our "suite," and immediately knew that we could not stay there. The smell of old musty carpet, old furnace (a/c was not working upon entrance), and having to immediately kill spiders upon entering was a big no. If you or your family has asthma, stay away. I checked out soon after knowing I would not receive a refund.

The staff was amazing. We were told by the GM that they just acquired the property & they're getting things together, but all in all everything was great. My only issue was they ran out of breakfast food too early. If it ended at 10am, at least have food until 9:45. It was 9:30 and they said they weren't making anymore eggs or sausages & didn't restock juice either.

Desk staff was unhelpful and rude. One desk staff was nice but was only there for a short time Thursday . They don't understand ADA . They refused basic ADA accommodations like late checkout . They have no elavators and parking is a bit away . We have a lot to bring die to disabilities and we were always rushed. We never had time to use any amenities. Also had difficulty extending stay even when they had availability and knew I was waiting to hear which ruined our stay wasting much time. The room was roomy but the carpets very stained . Tub needs replacement . Doors are dirty and worn inside . Room was okay not worth the difficult staff and stairs and stress.

Also had difficulty extending stay even when they had availability and knew I was waiting to hear which ruined our stay wasting much time. The room was roomy but the carpets very stained . Tub needs replacement . Doors are dirty and worn inside . Room was okay not worth the difficult staff and stairs and stress.
