Hello, To whom it may concern, my stay at this Howard Johnson was less than satisfactory. When I arrived, it was already 11: 30 at night (I called several hours earlier stating that I would be having a late arrival), and the employee at the front desk took a while to get us a room key. When we got to the room, the keycard worked, but this room was already occupied, and we obviously scared this couple. We then went back down to the front desk, and it took a while to get us a new room. The room itself seemed clean, which was nice. However, the next morning I had to get up very earlier because I had to be at my destination at 8am and it was 30 minutes away, but the shower was completely broken. Thus, I had to pack a little bag of my shower supplies and find a place to shower before I got to the wedding venue. I was a bridesmaid, which is why I had to get there so early to get ready with the wedding party and take pictures before the ceremony started. My friend did tell me, though, that maintenance did come by and fix this. The next morning, I went to use the toilet, and the handle to flush the toilet completely broke off. After all this, I believe I deserve a refund.

We were greeted by multiple German cockroaches on the bed when we entered our hotel room. Went to the front desk and the person there could not have been more kind and gave us another room. Unfortunately, there were also roaches in the 2nd room. At that point we were done and requested a refund so we could find another hotel. The person working at the front desk was wonderful and kind through the ordeal.

The room stunk of marijuana and we found remnants left in the night stand. The bathroom had hair in the tub and on the walls we didn’t even use it once! The whole property had a smell including the terrible elevator. Breakfast was disgusting and unclean as well. Go anywhere else to stay. The pool looked nice but the overall stay was so gross we didn’t even want to go in the pool.
