We needed a place to stay for several nights that wasn't too expensive but clean and comfortable. This place is undergoing renovation on the grounds, so the campus is a bit of a mess. Our room was adequate for our needs. The floor, however, looked clean but left the bottom of our feet black. I reported this and it seemed better the second day. The cleaning was good otherwise, with room done every day. The jetted tub was large. This stay met our needs. Originally I requested a room type that the service desk told me wasn't something they had on the property even though it showed on the website. We were offered a different room, but it was on the back side of the building and had no direct parking in front of it - it would have been difficult to take our suitcases to it. If they ever finish the remodel of this location, it will be better.

The property was being renovated so there was a lot of construction trash. Also, the parking area closest to our room was being used by someone to work on vehicles. An open oil pan full of oil was left sitting in a parking space. The room we were in was not bad, was reasonably clean, and the bed was comfortable.

I was traveling with my two teenage sons and stayed there because I do everytime I'm in Greenwood. I had to ask for towels as soon as we got to the room. We got there on Saturday, by Tuesday we didn't have hot water. No big deal, it was just for a couple of hours. On Wednesday, we didn't have water at all. No warning, just no water. When I talked to the office, I was told there was a leak being fixed. By Wednesday night, there was a trickle of water but we still couldn't flush the toilet. Thursday was the same, no water at all. I fully understand that things happen but there was no communication at all. No warning, no options. We left a day early because not having a working toilet with two teenage boys is not a fun vacation. This situation could have been handled so much better. I have always stayed at this hotel when I'm in Greenwood but I will look for a different one next time.

Definitely an older hotel with no handrails to the second floor. No elevator, a bit if a struggle to get everythibg to my 2nd floor room. The staff is friendly, and rooms are comfortable. No continental breakfast, but a nice Denny's is across the street.

While the staff were super friendly, this was the most disgusting room I’ve ever stayed in. The room reeked of cigarette smoke and still had cigarette ash smeared on the wall. Also found at least half a dozen small flies buzzing around and a tick in the room! There were long black hairs and an old dead fly in the sheets on the bed. Also some mystery crustys in the bathroom in a couple of different places… Even after lysol-ing the room three times I did not sleep well…

The room was dirty. There was pubic hair in the tub and on a towel. Microwave was dirty, the toilet had small remains of feces, the bedsheets seem clean but I did not want to look deeper into it other wise I would not sleep. I canceled the second night and management refunded the money. I would not stay there again and I don’t recommend it.

I paid for my room via Expedia. When I arrived I was told I needed to pay an additional deposit (in the amt of the nightly room rate). That’s fairly common so I gave them my cc. Once we checked out the next day I expected to see the pending charge removed. It was not. I waited for a credit. It did not come. I called Red Roof Inn and was spoken to by a rude young man who informed me that the credit would take 7-14 days. I have never heard of such a thing. He asked for my cc and I immediately received a notice from my bank that the card had been credited. I’m very suspicious about whether I would have ever received the credit had I not called to complain.

I reserved a 2 bed room, but was given a room with 1 bed. The clerk acted like I was being fussy for asking for a room with 2 beds. Then at 4 am I was woke up to another patron attempting to open my door because my room was checked out to them as well. It was a terrible nights sleep and a terrible experience. Will not stay there again and wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Paid for a suite and got a normal room and went to the office twice and was told we gave your room to someone else and she was very rude about it!! When I went to the office for check out he said we can’t do anything about it and said that we didn’t have to come back!! We have spent the night there more than 20 times in the past 3 years….that’s thousands of dollars to be treated like trash…..it’s sad that’s how they treat people!!! I will be getting a hold of corporate!!!

Room was ok, comfortable at least. Area didnt feel very safe, and there were some apparent extended stay people above us who were drinking and playing loud music on common balcony above our door. They didnt bother us, but made it uncomfortable.

I ended up not even staying in my room because I didn’t feel safe at the hotel. The people around me were smoking and it was just gross. Will not stay. Will not recommend.

The location was rught off of sheek road which is very convenient. Staff was super helpful, super nice. The room was comfortable and clean. Very good place at a very good price

Nice place for the money. Wheelchair room was big in bathroom, small in bedroom. No counter space in bathroom in wheelchair room but had desk area in BR. Fridge and microwave. If you hang clothes on clothes rack limits wheelchair space. Tv takes and works with ROKU. Nice plug ins by bed for cell phones. White castle across the street. Dennys within a block. Coffee taken up right after breakfast. Husband stayed here before and the regular rooms seem bigger and better laid out than handicapped.

Room appeared to have been recently remodeled. Clean, comfortable beds. Very convenient to eateries and I65. Breakfast was coffee, muffins and pastry-meager but Dennys is right across the street. Had to wait a few minutes to check in-proprietor was busy. Great stay for the price!

This place is a motel. You enter the room straight from the parking lot. That said, it was clean enough and the TV worked. My car didn't get stolen or broken into in the parking lot. No coffee maker in the room and the free breakfast consisted of coffee and mini-muffins. You get what you pay for.

Our room did not have a couch as stated and in the pictures. No coffee in the morning on a Sunday as stated. And no hand soap in the bathroom or even a bar of soap. The tv was also broke.

The stay at the Red Roof Inn was a pretty decent stay overall. The cleanliness of the rooms were very good, and it was pretty nice inside. Not that good breakfast. My kids saw ants crawling on the juice machine. Other complaints would be the key cards not working consistently. Alot of smoking around the area.

Definitely an older hotel with no handrails to the second floor. No elevator, a bit if a struggle to get everythibg to my 2nd floor room. The staff is friendly, and rooms are comfortable. No continental breakfast, but a nice Denny's is across the street.

Truly horrifically bad hotel room. Bathroom door wouldn’t close because it had multiple holes punched through it and was becoming delaminated, TV physically did not work. Filthy floor. Nearly completely out of toilet paper. The room literally had not been touched before our stay with the exception of clean sheets. I have never paid money, and not been refunded for, a room this bad in my entire life. Absolute nightmare. Everything on the property feels held together with duct tape. Wild. Almost recommend the stay as authentic Law & Order set experience. Never mind, 10/10. This was bad enough I would not describe it as a hotel room.

Reasonably clean and maintained, hot tub in room was a plus. Roku TV in room was a big disappointment, remote barely functional and front desk staff was no help. Minimalist breakfast offerings of coffee and a muffin. Coffee machine in room inadequately stocked. With a little more effort from staff this could be a much better hotel.
