What a lovely place to stay. The rooms are beautiful, and the beds are comfortable. Plenty of space to park your car, trucks or trailers. There is a bbq area next to the pool. Short walk to the shops, golf course, restaurants or the river. A must stay if in the area.

Cabin rates were very good considering it was peak school holiday time. Very convenient to town, just a 5 minute walk to most places. Generally pretty quiet too. The budget cabins are very basic. Noise from other guests easily goes through walls, and the toilet/shower facilities are adequate, nothing fancy at all. Could do with a deep clean and some air-freshener. Linen was clean and fresh, bed was comfortable. Lots of parking, but it's on grass, which could be an issue if very wet. Also a fair way from the cabins. If you're okay with basic, comfortable accommodation this place is a good option.

Best hotel bed have slept in for years. The room on ground floor was renovated and thus had a new feel. Room had appliances and enough utensils to allow us to eat in on a rainy night. Large bathroom and shower with plenty towels. Good location close to shops and some dining. Big Carpark. Grounds need a little work, however pool area looks welcoming. Well done Hive Hotel.

Stayed for a night and found everything required. Very clean room. Toilet was a winner which was clean and spacious. Very easy self-check in and checkout. Happy to receive a call from the hotel before we checked in for a heads up. Pillow could have been a bit more softer and comfortable. Will come back again and recommend highly.

The single rooms are in portables behind the actual hotel which is not described on the booking page. Incredibly loud and hot. Window didn’t have a fly screen and there were thousands of mosquitoes. Otherwise room was clean and did the job of a quick stay.

Great property. Didnt see any staff while i was there due to staff shortages so felt a little clinical with no personal contact. However the room was really nice &clean. Would recommend for a stop over.

Was approached by an intimidating staff member when checking in at the kiosk very late at night. The behaviour was menacing and threatening and he stood over us until we 'apologised' for 'hitting' the kiosk screen (we only every tapped the touch screen which was not responding). He had us over a barrel because ordinarily we'd leave as we felt very unsafe but because it was late at night and we'd been driving all day we didn't have the option to find lodging elsewhere. Stay away from this place. I can only imagine how someone in an even more vulnerable position might feel in these circumstances.

The staff responded very quickly when we needed help unlocking the bathroom which had locked from the inside with no one in there. The shower is excellent for beach goers. It is large with two shower heads which is very handy for washing sand filled hair! The mini bar and fridge were well stocked.

I was booked to host training at the Hive Hotel and chose to stay there as well for ease. The rooms were newly renovated, big size bathroom and comfortable bed and inclusions. The conference facility was excellent! Again, newly renovated and the staff were wonderful, extremely attentive and the catering was a hit with everyone. I would highly recommend Hive Hotel for both accommodation and conference facilities.

Large bathroom and shower with plenty towels. Good location close to shops and some dining. Big Carpark. Grounds need a little work, however pool area looks welcoming. Well done Hive Hotel.

The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and appeared to be recently renovated. Bathroom was large, clean and also newly renovated. It was a good stopover for our trip.

This Hotel is undergoing refurbishment, I believe. Excellent beds and good hot shower. Everything was what I needed. Cupboards and paintwork very shabby and need replacement which I believe is in progress.. Heating reverse cycle A/c. Very good. As this hotel was close to the family activities, I was there for it was very convenient. Very pleasant friendly staff. I would stay there again. I was in a one bedroom cabin. Very quiet at night which I appreciated. I'm a woman in my 80tys and felt quite safe.
